Our prophet said for for every evil deed may be adultry, usury, stealing, deceit etc we make, a black dot will be mark on our pure soul. The more the black dots on our pure soul, the more our soul get darker and the more it get weaker.
When it is weak, this makes it possible for evil ones or evil spirit to attack or possess it. And when you do any good deed, the part of the black dots will be erased from your soul.

Spirit is a breath of life created and given by God. We are all this spirit but become a soul when it enters a body i.e it becomes soul of the body.
No wonder when i become fatter or thinner or any physical changes, i am still me ( spirit or soul). So whatever that happens to our spirit e.g healness, pain etc. will affect the physical body either in our dream or conscious state. For instance,if dog is chasing you in your dream, the heart beat of your body will also high because of your position in the dream or making love in your dream, you still derive the same satisfaction.

No wonder the witches or wizards attack the spirit whenever they do their evil deed since they know you can beat the hell out of them if they attack you physically.If not because of this container called body that restrict our movement, we (spirit) can move freely through walls, air with high speed like other spirit (good or bad). But with this restriction, we can still see, hear, feel, taste, smell through our spirit what ordinary body sences cannot sence and this is called inner sences. No wonder some people can see vision or feel something that ordinary body sences cannot sence but am not talking about those using black power to do theirs.
But Immediately we (spirit) get out of the body, the body is useless and people say He is dead. Meanwhile, the real person is not dead but the body died. It will just be like dreaming.

Where is our spirit going after coming out of the body is another topic but what i will like to point out now is that we can empower our spirit,
we can take it out of darkness to light so that evil ones will not be able to attack us in our dream or conscious state.

This is a great opporyunity for everyone of us to treat ourselves without going fortunetellers or herbalist or 419 pastors or Alfas.
But before this can work for us, we need to depend 100% fully on Allah and try to forbid what He forbids on us like adultry, drinking, lies, gambling, Haram foods and drinks etc. and do what He asks us to do in order to have good covenant with Him. this is because He said He guides not evildoers or unbelievers and their prayers cannot be answered except the one that have been destined for them.

i will like to thank you by brother for your post. first of all, i tried to use christtians story to proove my point out to christians and that is the reason why i said "Can we reason together" and use literal word base on reasoning and not islamic religous belief. Secondly, pertaining to Adam and Eve, Sheik Muheeden Bello also said it was a parable in his lectured i heared on Friday in radio. On this also,i read in the book of Banabas When Jesus said the reason why we circumcise is because when Adam was sent out of paradise, he tried to cut his manhood for letting him to sin against his Lord and an Angel appeared to him not to do it. And he replied that he had already wow to do it and the Angel gave him knife to cut off the foreskin to fulfill his vow. And this extend to all his children and whoever that does not do it will not enter paradise.
I also have an advice for you my brother. That if you want someone to reason with you especially someone that does not have the same belief with you, try to use what they understand not what they don't. Even whenever Prophet Muhammed(SAW) wants to judge between jews or Christians, He use their Books to judge not Quran.

Hello my brothers in the room. Sentiment apart, we all agreed that in the beginning that God created Adam by using clay to mold him
and later blew His spirit into Adam and God put him into the Garden of Eden. Later on God realised that Adam needed a partner so He removed
one of the Adam's ribs to create Eve. We all also agreed that God told them to eat anything in the Garden except one fruit at the center.
Even though this is a parable we can still reason with it. The real meaning is that they can touch each other but they should never have
sex with each other since they have not married. Unfortunately Ibliss (Shaytan) tempted them and they did it and God sent them out of the Paradise.
Reason 1. Since Adam was in body while in paradised and not in spirit, it means we will also be in body hereafter.
" 2. Since Adam could have wife in paradise, what could defend us not to have wife as Moslems always say.
" 3. Since Adam and his wife could eat anything or put it straight, have sex in paradise why can we say they are lying?
