Hi everyone,

I'm spanish, my girlfriend from Nigeria living with me in Spain. We want to get married. We managed to get some documents we are asked for, such as police clearance and birth certificate, but we're still missing the single certificate.

I'm wondering whether we could get it from a public registry, since I read you go there for marriage registration.

Could anyone confirm that it is actually in local government where you get it from? And could you provide address for local government and public registry (if that's the case)? She has family living in Lagos and Benin City.

We want to marry as soon as possible. Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you people.
