Science/Technology / The Snake I Killed In My Compound This Morning by Oxtertee(m): 10:57am On Apr 27 |
Uncle lala, one of your favorite pet has strayed into my compound I was on my way back home from work around 6pm yesterday when my wife called that she sighted a snake inside our compound. I advise her to get someone to do justice to it. She went outside to call a male next house neighbor, but the snake has vanished before they return back and the person left. I search the whole compound when I returned home but couldn't find uncle lala's pet. I went for a thorough search this morning few mins pass 10am and found the snake where it was hiding. I quickly reach out for a long plank to unlive the green color slithering animal & justice was done. Can someone help identify the specie.......thou it look more like a baby green mamba if I am not mistaken. 11 Likes 2 Shares

Business / Re: Oyo Issues Seven-day Quit Notice To Roadside Traders by Oxtertee(m): 1:23pm On Mar 05 |
FreeStuffsNG: Well in this case, their is nothing difficult. This is not the first time OYSG is pushing road side traders back off the road. There was a time those traders at the roundabout at ojoo was pushed back into the space of land formerly occupied by Asset Oil and gas that was fenced with wire mesh. But it is surprising they have return back to displaying their wares on the main road which is supposed to be use by pedestrian 🚶. Now making free flow of traffic difficult on that axis of the road You will also be shock seing motorcycle parked vertically across the road has they have turned the road to their loading point. 3 Likes 1 Share |
Business / Re: Oyo Issues Seven-day Quit Notice To Roadside Traders by Oxtertee(m): 1:10pm On Mar 05 |
They should help decongest that ojoo road starting from bite more restaurant down to Alakara police station round about, ladegbuwa to old Lagos park, from ojoo road about down to Sabo round about, both left and right. Traders have slim fit the road and cause unnecessary traffic hold up along that axis during the day. 10 Likes 1 Share |

VanuatuWycombe: That place is not too far, the purpose is to reduce traffic passing through Ibadan from Lagos to connect other state. Cos the road doesn't pass through soka doesn't mean it didn't pass through any residential area, the road actually cut across idiayunre /alomaja along the Ibadan ijebu ode road before CRIN (cocoa reaserch institute of Nigeria. The purpose of routing the road project through less populated area or undeveloped place is to reduce cost and compensatation to people who owns land or build on the path of the road. 1 Like |

VanuatuWycombe: That ur assertion is wrong, soka area is more populated, the road started at the outskirt of Ibadan even before toll gate. The plan is too reduce traffic traversing Ibadan to osun, ondo ekiti and the likes. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Roberry and burglar are now on the rise around arulogun rd and moniya areas due to remote areas being developed which are mostly isolated from major area during day and night. This areas are mostly empties during the day as the people their will have gone to work and their places of business which is major place like ojoo, bodija, sango etc.....which makes the area vunurable |

Same way my flat at akinyele area of Ibadan not far from moniya was burgled on 1st/2nd Dec, 2023 while away at ijebu ode to attend a friend wedding wit my wife and daughter. We got home to meet the shocker of my life has the house has been vandalized. 43 Inc smart TV gone, 2 portable mp3 player gone, my daughter Samsung tablet gone, my wife whole jewelry box gone, some expensive designer bag gone little cash in the wardrobe gone, voltage ⚡ regulator gone including many other small items we are yet to realize. The whole house was turned upside down, the incident shattered our December plan as we had to gather money to replace some of the item as the house was empty and boring. Thieves and armed robbers should be excuted. 1 Like |
