Wealthyonos: I was viewing statuses on Whatsapp yesterday when I stumbled on a colleague's status as he posted photos of a cat he caught, how he killed it, set fire on it and prepared it for consumption. Omo, is cat meat that sweet? I eat dog meat but haven't tasted cat's before. Below are the photos. (Viewers Discretion) Why is it sweet, did you add some cubes of sugar 🤔😅 |

Education › Re: The Secret Backdoor To UNIUYO: No JAMB, No Stress, Straight To Year 2 by oyeomere: 7:45pm On May 30 |
zentee: Let’s face the facts—gaining admission into a Nigerian federal university through the standard Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) is becoming an absolute battlefield. Every year, millions of brilliant candidates fight for a handful of limited spaces.
A single bad day at the CBT center or a quirky JAMB score can instantly stall your academic dreams for a whole year.
But what if there was a legitimate, university-approved pathway that bypasses the UTME stress entirely and lands you straight into your second year of study?
Enter the UNIUYO School of Basic Studies Admission.
If you are tired of writing JAMB repeatedly, or you simply want to fast-track your university education, this guide is your golden ticket.
Let’s break down exactly how this program works, the courses available, and how you can apply for the 2026/2027 academic session.
What is the UNIUYO School of Basic Studies?
The School of Basic Studies at the University of Uyo (UNIUYO) runs a highly specialized, one-year intensive preparatory program.
Instead of preparing for JAMB, you will be prepared for the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) examination.
Passing this exam doesn't just get you into the university—it grants you Direct Entry (DE) admission into the 200 Level of your chosen degree program.
The Math is Simple: 1 Year of Basic Studies = Direct Entry into 200 Level. You don't lose any time, and you skip the 100-level UTME crowd completely!
What Can You Study? (Available Courses)
Whether you want to be a surgeon, a corporate lawyer, or a tech wiz, UNIUYO’s Basic Studies program has a pathway for you.
The available faculties and courses include:
*Faculty of Pharmacy- pharmacy
*Faculty of Law- Civil Law
*Faculty of Engineering- Petroleum, Mechanical, Civil, Computer, and Electrical/Electronics Engineering
*Faculty of Computing-Computer Science
*Faculty of Management Sciences- Accounting, Business Management, Banking and Finance, Marketing
*Faculty of Social Sciences- Economics, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology
*Faculty of Arts & Communication-Journalism, Theatre Arts, English, International Studies
Why Choose the UNIUYO Basic Studies Route?
*No JAMB Score Needed: You do not need to sit for the standard UTME to qualify for this program.
*Predictable Timeline: It is a strict, uninterrupted one-year program.
* High Success Rate: Because you are being taught directly by university lecturers on campus, you are perfectly equipped to clear the JUPEB exams.
*Direct Entry: You start your official university career as a sophomore (200 Level student).

gracias124: Is it only Nigerian girls or all girls are like that all over the world? The way Nigerian girls love money morethan everything kept me wondering. I am a guy who struggle and work under the sun everyday but it always amazes me how all the girls I deal with likes money morethan me. It was lots of times that different girls told me they can do anything for money. What makes me create this thread today was my encounter with a 18 year old girl, she asked me for 5k and I said I will give 10k with a condition that we will meet for sex, I downloaded one wierd xvideo and sent it to her saying that I need that same thing from her, she didnt fret and even told me that she once done that. Fear women. Oo If you ask me I will say it's only Nigerian girls, my experience about them was terrible when it comes to money matter..... they're too lazy because they've turned their ass (ikebe) the only assets they have believing that it's money making gadget. I've kicked many of them out of my house immediately they started displaying it to me as it's a crude oil well.... |
