I am sorry to say this, it is people with your kind of mindset that are this country's problem. Someone is stating the obvious that what needs to be done for them to thrive was not done and you are blaming them for complaining. Can you imagine how much was set aside for this event, some government officials have gotten rich on this while the athletes toil for little.

Until individuals like you change their mindset and call out the politicians and government officials for what they are Nigeria would keep going down and looked down upon by even small countries.

Her mother did well in calling off the engagement. The saying 'love is blind' is very true. Her daughter may not see the sign of a verbally abusive husband because she is blinded by love, but a third part, that is her mother, saw it and did right by calling it off. A broken courtship is better than a broken marriage, and worse if it leads to early death.
