Joefab, please do well to tell us which role you were called for. From this recent development, it appears some roles have not been called for their physical interviews. Not all positions have been concluded. Has any operations geologist been called up? Congratulations to those who had their interviews. Rooting for you guys. God bless! |
For the benefit of everyone, please if you have been invited for the next stage of the interview, kindly state the role you applied for and what level or stage your interview is. This is to follow up on the roles advertised for. And to know if every role has been called up. Thanks! |
IbomGuy:Anyone invited for the next stage "Operations Geologist", kindly signify. |
This is not to debunk any claim. But for consistency sake, please let's expect mails from HCP/SEPLAT'S HR for progress to the next stage or otherwise. They've been consistent at sending mails even if they want you to fill a form or make a choice. And from previous interactions with candidates, information regarding a particular stage of the recruitment process is sent out almost at the same time BUT on the same day. Let's not fret. We will be victorious. |
Hunter102:In my opinion, if there are 3 stages of the interview, (Level I) has an additional stage compared to (Level II). So, the first stage is the filtering stage which made you invited for the assessment. The second stage is the HCP assessment itself. Third stage should be a verbal interview for role competence. However, Level I may have an additional stage to the outlined. I believe emails will be sent out from Monday 10th Nov, 2025 inviting people for their respective interviews. It will definitely be a great Christmas and a new year for some people. I pray to be one of them. |
shalom4eva:There was intimidation in the accreditation hall prior to the exam. Right after the exam, A LOT of people were humbled. I saw people coming out of the exam hall with a long face. I said in my mind, "This is it, e enter" SEPLAT-HCP, Una try ooooo |
My sincere advice to anyone who'd write SEPLAT's assessment (HCP) in the near future either as an experienced hire or GT is that none of the PQ advertised online at a cheap sum works for practicing. The only thing you might probably get out of it is time management. Again, do not choose writing the test in the comfort of your home against the other option of writing it at their designated exam center. Both of them are computer based. However, one is better. Even if you use Elon's starlink, you may have one or two issues arising on the day of your exam. Personally, I would say the HCP assessment questions I wrote for SEPLAT are top notch. They are tough to quickly sieve out people to the minimum. You already know your fate after the exams. You can never get all the questions done correctly because of time. It is now about the number of candidates needed for the role. A matter solely decided by the recruiters. We were not up to 300 candidates that was shortlisted to write the assessment physically. And from what I gathered, Lagos physical center boasts of the largest population. I want to assume that the total number of persons nationwide will be approximately 1000 people for 8 openings. Even if SEPLAT decides to hire 4 persons per opening, that will be a total of 32 candidates out of a thousand. If you're selected for the next stage (interview), just know that you're deserving as the best of the best. Endeavor to give it your all. There's now a higher chance of landing the role. Congratulations to us in advance. ![]() |
