Good morning everyone. About 2 weeks ago, I noticed I was having a little hotness sensation when I urinate and my urine was yellowish.....I just didn't think it was anything so I ignored it. Fast forward to this week. The hotness is not severe, I am even scared of having a drink because urinating is also a nightmare. Also I am now having a yellowish discharge from my penis.

I have gone for a lab test yesterday where they collected a urine and swap samples and told me to come back for the results tomorrow. The thing is, I am now scared. I cannot wait till tomorrow cos I fel this is getting severe and I have been avoiding water or anything that will give me the urge to urinate. I need to commence treatment immediately.

P.S. The lady I got this from said she's having stomach ache and the hotness sensation when she's passing urine too

Go to the Hospital and get yourself properly tested. You are seriously wasting your time on online forum asking stupid question and exposing yourself further. This is a private matter.

For me, I have gotten the employment letter for UNDP for Budget officer but just decided to watch the whole processes before making further moves. If they ask me for money for anything even if is 1naira, I will just run for my life.

What position did you applied for with UNDP? was it graded General Service or National officer level. In UN recruitment process, the successful candidate is given a conditional offer of employer subject to medical and security clearance. when you are tru with these clearances, you educational qualificatons would be assessed then you would be notified with the final confirmation of appointment and you state when you want to resume with them. this is then stated in the tems of agreement for the contract, be it Fixed Term or Temporary. I hardly heard of offer being given to a new staff and being told to resume more than one month after. It is you that would choose your resumption date. so in Conclusion, i have my doubt about your claims.

I strongly Doubt the authenticity of this claim. The Submitted e-interview is just the first step in the UN recruitment process. There would be competency based interview via skype or the candidate would be referred to the nearest UN office close to him. if sucessful, the candidate would be given a conditional letter of offer subject to medicals and security clearance. I have been through the UN recruitment process and i'm much conversant with their recruitment process.

Just for quick one. simply go to premierleague.com and click on the matches for this weekend, it would show the official broadcaster of those matches in your region and Beinsports isn't one of them cos Nigeria is not in North Africa.

TSTV, Please stop all this lies about hacking. Beinsport have detected that their signals are being broadcaster illegally and that's why that message pops up on the screen.

Is this genuine, since the UN only recruits through its website. However the unsdn is not directly under the UN. I ask this question because the author of this post shows a message with august 24th as deadline and I have a message showing deadline 22 sept. I have been sceptical about it, as I can not even see any website advertising this job. Can any one help clarify this.

The recruitment is genuine. UNSDN is one of the functional commissions of the Economics and Social Development Principal organs of the UN. the positions are professional level and internationally recruited.

Fingerprint takes 2 to 3 weeks so we all have to wait.

Did you do the fingerprinting exercise yet? I learnt that all recruitment process is on hold due to funding issues

Our fingerprinting exercise was cancelled. They promised to notified us with a new date for the exercise soon.
I wonder what is causing the delays?

The room is so so quiet.

It's been 10 days after the interview. That's 240 hours have gone. We were told that we wud be notified within 4 weeks I.e approximately 28 days. That means that we have 18 more days or wud be notified within the remaining 18 more days. I have a good feeling I wud have a cause to smile within the next 18 more days or far less.

It is our hurry mode that makes it far. The thing still needs the approval of the WFP President in Italy after the final recommendations of country director. But during mine I was asked if I was available immediately or would require notice in addition to telling me win or loose all interviewed candidates would be notified "soon". I think is not a matter of how long it takes for me but how well it ends since I am currently doing something. This is very important.

yeah, that is true. let's take our minds off it. but one cold continue reaserch on WFP Programmes cos right now the whole place is in disarray. Most of the staff our on international mission to Nigeria to set up the place and their contract would be over at the end of the year before the returned back to their base.

Internal compliance.... What activities would they conduct? I thought after getting the offer, that is when they do security checks et al...
I know a staff there that told me that most of their international staff contract is expiring at the end of the year and that's why they are rushing.... To me 4 weeks is a bit far

After my interview I was informed that within 4 weeks that the successful candidate would be notified. Isn't that too long!!!

Just be prayerful and continue whatever you are doing. If it is meant for you it will definitely be yours. It is luck when situation becomes like this. My personal opinion though.

I experienced the same thing here in Abuja. I made my grievances known about the interviewing process.

I didn't know they do interview on weekend for a UN agency. That's only to confirm the rumor that they want to complete all recruitment before the end of the year. Most people would resume before the end of the year.

Good day everyone.
It was a beehive of activities at WFP country office here in Abuja. I was invited for a written test for Finance Assistant on Wednesday. 14 Dec. The exams was tactical but I did well. As if today people are still being tested and it seems likely that the interview for some position like mine would be done next week. Did anyone else on this forum apply for Finance Assistant?

All positions have been concluded and some have undergone medicals. I was contacted and told I was on the roaster list. If any of the successful candidate doesn't accept the offer or failed medicals then I would be called in as a replacement.
As for the pay.... Let's not exaggerate... Support staff doesn't earned that high. It's is only National Officers position that earned more than 600k. However, it is too early to start discussing pay when u haven't even been given an offer. I believe one shud apply and pray to be shortlisted first. From then on it's ur effort and God that would see u thru.
