Politics / Re: NERC Unbundles TCN, Sets Up New System Operator by pacino26(m): 8:49pm On May 03
Transmission company that cannot boast of newly constructed transmission lines! Even the DISCOs will wait for you to erect poles for kilometers, purchase cables and run the lines, buy transformers then bribe them to commission it. Tomorrow they will say it is there property.

All this unbundling and bundling is not treating the power issue at all.

Education / Re: What Public Schools In Anambra Really Look Like - Michael Chibuzor by pacino26(m): 7:22am On Apr 30
I know it's a matter of time before someone brings up the pictures of Abbott Boys/Girls in this PO saga. The dude even captured ETF funded desks from PO era, who does that. grin grin grin. Then went on to totally ignore the new structures on ground. Odimma

What we lack is good maintenance culture. In the peak days 1990-2000 Abbott Boys and Girls, Boys High School Azia, Uli Boys, St. Anthony's, Okija girls were hosting population of students in hundreds and that accounted for he massive expanse of lands and classroom blocks. With the proliferation of Private and Missionary schools the population decreased. Same thing when we had the option of govt owned universities before the private ones came on board. Most of those structures are empty because nobody to fill them. So it's a play ground for monkey post and the emenite ceilings are used as table tennis bats (I know because we follow use am that year wink wink )

I forgot to mention they had chapels and large dinning halls. So the OP ended up with a bias view and photos.

Politics / Re: Why Peter Obi Cannot Do Anything About Water Scarcity In Enugu. by pacino26(m): 9:52am On Apr 11
The water problem in Enugu metropolis is as stated complex and natural. The Geology of Enugu has water bearing formation at Mamu/Ajali sandstone. That's from 9th Mile up. I think what the government needs to do is employ the use of COMPRESSOR STATIONS along a new water pipeline route from low urbanized areas into the metropolis. Water galleries are good but not suitable for commercial use. I believe those who advice his excellency are here to take notes. The current approach is not just slow but unsustainable. I have one or two ideas to share about it when approached. wink cheesy

Alaoji, Egbema, Ihovbor, Gbaran were all NIPP projects instituted by Baba Shege. Sapele has only two turbines out of six operational.

Chrome Group abi EEDC only supervised maintenance they are not Gencos! Everything is not about propaganda, there are people with first hand knowledge in this forum. My only prayer is that Alaoji starts operating at full capacity because it has been operational all these years.

TINTINABULATION:

I don't know what your age is, but with 28 years and still counting, your children may probably inherit the case. grin grin

So sorry Sir.

It's not funny and that explains why most people just go ahead and do what they believe is needful.
In my case I have a heavy duty equipment with a daily rate of #300k/day idling for over 3yrs because of our judiciary. Very upsetting.
Politics / Heat And EEDC Prevented Court Sitting. by pacino26(m): 7:40pm On Mar 14
As what I will term the newest low, a High court Judge in Awka Anambra State after keeping litigants waiting for hours asked them to pick another date because there was no power in the court house.

I have been hearing stories about the dilapidation in the judiciary but this is just a new low. For over three years my case is yet to get a hearing. Judges at moments notice will at the wave of a finger ask people to pick another date. Our judiciary termed the hope of the poor man should be rephrased to the cause of pain to the masses.
It's either they are not in the mood, not feeling too well, having a valedictory session or just want to read out judgement only. These judges care less about the pains, losses in resources and man hours they cause the populace. I now have a clear picture why people anguish in detention and correctional facilities nationwide for years; Judge might be feeling too hot to hear their case.
Something needs to be done. Now I know why they shouted GO TO COURT.

For those quoting me, my request on how to reach her was made before the intervention of the Anambra State Government. I had people with genuine concerns. We are relieved she got the needed help.

We are grateful for their safe return notwithstanding the ransom paid. No amount can be equivalent to human life. It's a pity the country mostly the ruling class fed this beast called kidnapping.

So 100m is untraceable just like that with all the technology we have at our disposal?

How come Chinaza Philip the notorious kidnapper is in custody but the rich ones who got 100m are not?

Little wonder they said Nigeria is Fantastically Corruptb. E weak the British PM that year.

The laws in Nigeria are made for the common man, once you get rich count yourself above the law.

So the Medical Council is out to brag I guess. Who doesn't know that exams in Nigeria are structured to fail people! Lecturers brag about how people can't pass their courses. School of pharmacy and medicine in most universities here in Nigeria are happy when students commit suicide and go on to tell new entrants that it is not for the faint of heart. Out there in Europe and other developed countries you have interactions with your lecturers on academic growth and good mental health. Let's not forget the other reason they will want people to fail; so some can pay through their noses to get the license.

Hello 👋

Were you able to resolve this ? If so how did you go about it. I am currently in the same dilemma with access bank. Noticed it yesterday and I reported to the bank immediately but no reason has been given to me yet why my account was placed on PND.

It was resolved after repeated emails, calls and visit to the branch. The annoying things is that CPC oberves a 72hour window before they can wade in and you have a 28day period before you can institute a suit. It's useless. All they do best is apologize without taking any form of responsibility for their actions.

Now they beg to be allowed to be dogs. Anyone who believes this happened overnight should think twice. This is a result of a well planned social engineering program that have spanned for years and got legal backings.

They can join our ekuke this coming hunting season.
