A statement by the spokesman of Police Service Commission (PSC) Ikechukwu Ani said the Commission had on Tuesday, March 22nd in Abuja unveiled the internet website portal for the recruitment. Ani said the chairman of the Commission Mike Okiro who unveiled the portal at a ceremony attended by the management team of the Commission announced that the portal will be opened to the public on the 1st of April, 2016 which indicates the commencement of the recruitment exercise. Okiro said the unveiling of the portal was in actualization of the presidential directive on the recruitment of the 10,000 Police Men. He also said the Commission considers the exercise remarkable since there has not been recruitment into the Nigeria Police Force for more than five years due to financial constraints. He explained that the Commission could not commence the exercise last year because the funding was not captured in the 2015 budget. The PSC added that with the commencement of the process on April 1, interested Nigerians should access the portal through the Commission’s websitewww.psc.gov.ng or that of the Nigeria Police Force, www.npf.gov.ng. The PSC Chairman also announced that there will be no charges for the processing of the forms which will be done on-line. Ani quoted the Chairman as saying: “we are not charging money. It is free, absolutely free.” He also reportedly noted that the portal has been structured in a way that there will be no short cut; “Everybody must go through due process”, he said. The Commission also said it will be recruiting candidates into the three entry points of the Nigeria Police Force which are Constable, Cadet Inspector and Cadet ASP. There will also be recruitment into the Specialist cadre, the PSC statement said. “For Police Constables, applicants are expected to posses five credit level passes including Mathematics and English Language at Senior School Certificate Examination in not more than two sittings,” Ani said. He added that for Cadet Inspectors, in addition to having the requirements of Police Constables, candidates would be expected to have an Ordinary National Diploma (OND), Advanced Level (A level), National Certificate of Education (NCE) or their equivalents. “Candidates for Cadet ASPs must possess a University degree or a Higher National Diploma (HND),” the Police Service Commission stated. |

moneyMouthed:Bros I no sure say NSCDC go do general Recruitment this year O. Make we just dey patient see wetin wan happen by April next month. I don tire for their wahala sef. since 2013!!! shooooo! But my source told me that it's true that some Replacement candidates resumed camp yesterday but that they were not given Appointment Letter. I mean I don't really understand what is going on but let's just take April as the deadline for all this NSCDC HYPERTENTION. If nothing happen btw 4th to 11th April next month me I don hands up and move forward. God bless our hustle. Amen. |
I doubt if NSCDC would conduct General Recruitment this year. NIS just employed 1,600 personnel approved by FG. I saw it on punch news paper of today 21st March, 2016 page 8. I think they include both the injured victims and some of those who were told to leave the camp last year. Parradang is vindicated!! I guess Replacement from supplementary list come April is what might happen. Sometimes this NSCDC people sef are bunch of confusionists. Listen up ladies and gentlemen.. If NSCDC didn't do anything about Replacement/Recruitment by April next month, just forget it till next year. What would be would be and if God says it is yours, gbam! if God say no be your own just take heart and move forward...life goes on.. person go kill himself? mtcheeeeeeeeeeeeeew!!!!!!!!!!!! |
Seriously, according to my Source who said he must tell me the truth. He still maintained that NSCDC General Recruitment should kick-start specifically 4th or 11th April, 2016. But he said Supplementary list of Replacement is what might come out so that those people who documented in Katsina plus those to be called by early April (almost 5,000) would go for Training immediately... Some people are currently on Training in Kano, that's for NIS. The bitter truth in all this is that General Recruitment is far from it but there is nothing God cannot do. |

tico1212:only open for documentation. camp training has not started yet. |
Nafizzey:NSCDC. And please it's not a rumour. you can also confirm if you have a reliable source too. best of luck! |
my contact called me just now and said there is still space for B.sc for Katsina camp but it depends on your "strong oga at the top" but they won't make it 'public' so that people would quickly lose interest for B.sc positions. As for the recruitment proper he said 4th or 11th April, 2016. he said they would recruit more than 20,000 personnel. Others should please confirm this, but my source is 100% REAL. Goodluck to all. |
pls house help me decide which to do. My source called me yesterday night and asked me if I'm interested in this replacement which would start in ogun state early march since it is southwest I preferred as Katsina's own is almost through with their documentation stuff, but I was confused on which to choose because according to him he would want me to join fresh recruitment as it is a fresh appointment where there is a guarantee that I'll serve for 33years cos am 26 going to 27 by September since retirement age is 60. according to him, if it is this replacement one I want then he can't guarantee that I will serve for more than 20years cos the person am to replace served for 7years and he was supposed to serve for the remaining 18years with nscdc as stipulated in his file. lawal4green pls what do you suggest I do? your response is important to me so I can call my source to tell him which one I prefer cos he's waiting for my call before sundown today. thanks...... |
Lawal4green:pls lawal4green let me hear your view on our fate in this nscdc stuff. thanks... |
Alkali01:but why now? must you chide me again? Please respect yourself. |
Lawal4green:lawal4green. are you sure that ours won't be for general recruitment? because my source said that he placed me on both replacement and recruitment... any one that favours me, fine. pls lawal4green let me hear your own view. |
Wow! Lawal4green. I am sorry, please forgive me. You are for REAL. I just finished talking with my source and he confirmed to me that Katsina camp is open and that the documentation and bank stuff are TRUE. He also said that general recruitment for nscdc by April is under probability and that kaduna and ogun camp will also be used for camp training. Pls I urge everybody on this thread not to joke with lawal4green's infos. Once again I'm very sorry lawal4green. We shall get there soon....... |
!!!!!! |
Lawal4green:neither do I blame you too as I sense that you are "myopic" in optics. And wait a minute, can you go for PhD with MBA? Let's see how intelligent my student lawal4green is now. MBA is for Business Administration, MPA is for Public Administration. |
sanyahkod:M.sc - Masters Of Science, Masters - Professional.. e.g Masters in Public Administration is different from M.sc in Public Administration.. The real learned men on this thread understand what I am saying. If you don't know something, learn from those who know and stop being psychedelic. |
Lawal4green:Now I know Nigeria produce half-baked graduates. So in your own antiquated zoo you call village you don't know that M.sc is higher than Masters? The real graduates on this thread must be laughing at you now. I guess you attended poly that's why you don't know the difference but if indeed it's b.sc you did, then I'm sorry to say that you were in the university as "Escort". Let me lecture you since you are aboki who knows nothin' - M.sc is for Academic purpose and can be used if one wants to lecture, Masters is Professional and is often used by civil/public servants in government organizations but they can also bag M.sc in case they may want to lecture after serving their dear country now that the retirement age for lecturers is now 75. Again, with your M.sc you can go for Ph.D direct while with Masters you can't except you go for M.Phil that is Masters in Philosophy and it's just one year programme. Is gorilla and monkey the same? Anuofia! |
MARCH IS THE GENUINE PERIOD BUT IF SOME PEOPLE CLAIM THEY'VE BEEN CALLED, GOOD FOR THEM BUT I WOULD ALSO SAY "BEWARE OF SCAMMERS". I still called my source and he still said it's March, 2016. we aren't far from march, so let's be patient and avoid jumping the gun pls. |
Lawal4green:I wouldn't say you lied but I think your so-called "friend" is a fraudster. how can a b.sc holder be given SSCE rank? not even OND/NCE. And for heaven's sake what would a Ph.D holder be doing with nscdc when even the nscdc CG doesn't even have M.sc but Masters? Pls like Profsho1 has said, let's stop lying in this thread. We've had enough of oluemmy2, cc77 and others' troubles and insincere post so far. We are new entrants and would pls like us to post genuine info pls... God help us all, AMEN. |
