This Government is really useless... why play 'hide-and-seek' with the future of Nigerian Youths.. It's a pity!!
Last year it was NIS Recruitment suspension after the 'lucky ones' had already undergone screening and commenced 'pre-training'..
It is now clear that NSCDC would not conduct general Recruitment, not even in two years to come... Replacement is the key. just pray hard that November Replacement Exercise won't be 'manoeuvred because as I speak to you now there are'hot runs' going on in our command I guess other commands too just so that people would fix their choice candidates.

NSCDC

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Benue has alerted the public of the existence of employment racket within the command.

The NSCDC Commandant, Mr. Shuaibu Jibrin, said on Thursday that the racket had been collecting money from applicants in the guise of offering them employment into the organisation.

Jibrin, however, assured that its searchlights had already been beamed on the perpetrators while explaining that all recruitment exercises by the organisation “are properly advertised through the mass media”.

He said, “Currently, the NSCDC is not carrying out any recruitment, the NSCDC recruits based on certain criteria and merit which is always advertised through the mass media.”

He said applicants had never been charged during NSCDC’s recruitment exercises, and assured that those behind the syndicate would soon be apprehended and brought to justice.

He also expressed regrets about the frequent vandalism of public utilities, especially pipelines and cables by unpatriotic citizens.

The commandant said the command had stepped up its surveillance activities over such public utilities to prevent the operations of the vandals.

He disclosed that three vandals had already been apprehended and were facing trial in the state.

He, however, advised authorities of the electricity company covering the state to ensure proper identification of its staff working on transformers and handling underground cables to avoid arrest by his men.

Jibrin also commended the state government for pledging to donate brand new tyres for their functional vehicles which had old tyres to enhance the command’s work in the state

Concerning the person who said he got APL from Abuja, It is false... probably a card or pass was given to him just as some of us were given even before we were called up for camp training April, 2016 to which he mistook for APL... Though I only got mine two days to camp as you all could remember that it was Lawal4green that made us all know that katsina camp was the place for training to which my contact called me afterwards to prepare for it. but like I posted last week, fake APLs were issued and the culprit officers were nabbed. So Mr, Blade21 it is either you are been issued a fake APL or a genuine pass/card in-waitng for NOVEMBER REPLACEMENT. For those who have strong contacts, pls call them and 'press your button' fast because November is already around the corner.. Pls no one should 'castigate' lawal4green again, must he know everything? the fact that he's not aware of NOVEMBER REPLACEMENT doesn't make him fake pls...

NB: Most of your contacts or sources never give you genuine info in order not to let you put them in trouble.. they would only give you info that is close to the genuine info till they finally call you at the eleventh hour for you to prepare for camp training.

BEST OF LUCK!!!

No one should condemn anybody who 'claims' he or she has been given APL. Everyone is entitled to say what he or she has got as info or contribution. and please no information shared here be discarded whether from scammers or not because most of this 'scammers' you see are senior staff of the paramilitary (correct me if I am wrong).. and they know more than you... 11 were apprehended just last week in our state command for issuing fake APLs and are to be dealt with seriously.. it wasn't made public because we just want to protect our image.. am not suppose to tell you all this but bcoz I was once like you waiting to be absorbed then. so please be careful and I promise to investigate concerning the person who said he got APL from Abuja and get back to the house but November replacement stuff is sure, just pray hard so that nothing would 'interfere'.. THANKS.

FG to begin re-screening for 2000 Immigration recruits On August 15, 201612:39 pmIn News by adekunleComments ‎ By Omeiza Ajayi ABUJA – The Federal Government has said it would from August 29 commence the re-screening of 2,000 recruits of the Nigeria Immigration Service NIS who were “dispersed” after being trained and issued employment letters in February last year. Announcing this in a statement issued Monday in Abuja, spokesman of the NIS, Ekpedeme King said the decision was reached in the aftermath of an emergency meeting of the Civil Defence, Fire, Immigration, and Prisons Services Board (CDFIPB) on the 11th of August 2016. The service however listed several guidelines for the screening of the applicants. Apart from the necessary security clearance, they would also undergo a drug-test, certificate verification as well as the implementation of CDFIPB policy on “Age on Rank”. Part of the statement reads; “The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) wishes to inform the 2000 applicants for employment into the Service who were irregularly issued letters of employment in February, 2015 that the Federal Government has approved the review of the case. “Following an emergency meeting of the Civil Defence, Fire, Immigration, and Prisons Services Board (CDFIPB) on the 11th of August 2016, the following guidelines were issued for the screening of the applicants: “Consequent on the above, applicants whose names are listed in the NIS website: www.immigration.gov.ng are requested to report to the NIS Headquarters Abuja with their academic certificates, birth certificate, previous employment records (if any), indigene certificates (originals and photocopies), two passport photographs, and in batches according to the time-table”. By the schedule, Assistant Superintendent of Immigration II, ASI2 (CONPASS 08) from all the states between Abia and Jigawa in alphabetical order would take their turn on August 29 while those that fall between Kaduna and Zamfara states would have theirs on August 30. For Assistant Inspectors of Immigration, AII (CONPASS 06) those from Abia to Jigawa state would sit for the screening on August 31 while those from Kaduna to Zamfara would have theirs on September 1. For Immigration Assistants IA1 – IA3 (CONPASS 3,4,5), those from Abia to Edo states would be screened on September 2, Ekiti to Kwara, September 3 and Lagos to Zamfara, September 4. “The general public should please note that the exercise is not a call for fresh recruitment. Therefore, no application for recruitment should be forwarded to the NIS”, the service warned. After the botched 2014 recruitment into the service the then president, Goodluck Jonathan, instituted a committee to assist the CDFIPB conduct a fresh recruitment. The exercise has since been bugged with controversies following the dispersal of the 2,000 fresh recruits at the advent of the President Muhammadu Buhari administration.

IT IS CERTAINLY OBVIOUS FROM THIS NEWS THAT CIVIL DEFENCE WOULD ONLY CONDUCT MASSIVE REPLACEMENT B4 THE END OF THIS YEAR AS AGAINST THE GENERAL RECRUITMENT THAT PEOPLE THINK MIGHT BE. AND IT IS ALSO OBVIOUS THAT FG HAVE FINALLY APPROVED OF IT. Congratulations in advance to those whose names are already on the list.

the coast is finally clear for intending nscdc officers. they are to conduct massive replacement exercise before the end of 2016 (approved by the presidency). this is as a result of the impropriety of many applicants of the Nigeria police recruitment and avoidance of any hitch that culminated during the march 2014 NIS Botched recruitment exercise. I was not told the exact month or day but this year definitely... wish you all good luck!!!

We are yet to be issued Appointment Letters and it's really worrisome because it has got to the ears of the presidency which means that we might be dismissed because the number recruited exceed the volunteers who were the ones that are supposed to be absorbed originally and not us. The Katsina camp we attended was a waste of time after-all. THERE IS TROUBLE!!!

Shun online adverts, NSCDC not recruiting – Commandant On July 12, 20161:32 pmIn News by adekunleComments Abuja – The Commandant General of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has advised desperate job seekers to beware of fraudsters and desist from patronising scammers via online advertisement. Mr Abdullahi Gana, the NSCDC boss, gave the advice in a statement signed by Emmanuel Okeh, the Corps’ Spokesperson, in Abuja. According to the statement, Gana was reacting to the recent online advertisement on the sale of NSCDC application form in the country. He advised the general public and applicants to discard, disregard and ignore such advertisement, to avoid being swindled by mischief makers and unscrupulous elements whose business is to misinform the public and rob them of their belongings. “The Corps is neither recruiting nor replacing as is usually tagged by the scammers. “Therefore, those who engage themselves in deceiving and misinforming the public for financial gain should desist from such act or face the wrath of the law if caught, for the law is no respecter of anyone. “We wish to state emphatically that, the corps is not recruiting. The process of recruitment into the corps is not through online, rather, vacancies will be advertised in national dailies when the time comes. “However, whosoever shows level of desperation and patronises online scammers and falls prey to their antics will face it alone, as the corps will not take responsibility for any illegal and illicit act,’’ he said in the statement. He said that the corps does not engage any person or group of persons as agent or consultant on recruitment matter, adding that applicants must be careful so as not to become victims of circumstance.

It is crystal clear that NSCDC would never conduct general recruitment any time soon or even next year. REPLACEMENT all the way. My advice for those still expecting list is to be patient as I guarantee you all that the next batch would include you all as long as your name is on the list. And please make sure you call your contacts at least every two-two weeks in order to 'stay tuned'. GOD BLESS!!!

Hello house! like I said last week that I'll feed the house on the current happenings on NSCDC today.. The Replacement list(SUPPLEMENTARY) is on course but I won't say anything about the exact thing going on (though positive) because of some people viewing all our comments since 2013 whom I suppose could be working against NSCDC and other paramilitary organization on the REPLACEMENT stuff which they feel does not follow due process. You all remember a particular dude who revealed to the appropriate authorities that nscdc recruited 3000 in Katsina and bla bla bla... something tells me that he may be one of us on this thread. The bottom-line here is that genuine info-givers on this thread are cautious of such people and that is why the likes of lawal4green, rugged2k2, oluemmy2 and others hardly comment except when the need arises... again I say, NSCDC REPLACEMENT LIST(supplementary) is on course... just be patient. as for general recruitment... CAPITAL NO!!!!!

@Eneakor. I can confidently tell you that Appointment Letter was never issued to anybody yet. What was given is a card/pass as a 'fore-runner' to appointment letter. Though so many people are in camp but we are just up to 3-4,000 in camp and the main training is yet to kick-start because more names are still flowing in by top politiciians and senior officers. There would be replacement this month of April but they would be trained in their various states commands both junior and senior cadre cos Katsina camp can't contain everyone. General Recruitment is far from it this year. For immigration, there is still hope for replacement as FG just absorbed the 'dead and injured' today. fingers crossed... GOODLUCK!

FG Begins Police Recruitment of 10,000 Cadet Constables, Inspectors & ASPs; Here's How To Apply

The Police Service Commission (PSC) on Wednesday announced that the process of the recruitment of 10,000 policemen as directed by President Muhammadu Buhari at the National Security Summit last year in Abuja has commenced.

A statement by the spokesman of Police Service Commission (PSC) Ikechukwu Ani said the Commission had on Tuesday, March 22nd in Abuja unveiled the internet website portal for the recruitment.

Ani said the chairman of the Commission Mike Okiro who unveiled the portal at a ceremony attended by the management team of the Commission announced that the portal will be opened to the public on the 1st of April, 2016 which indicates the commencement of the recruitment exercise.

Okiro said the unveiling of the portal was in actualization of the presidential directive on the recruitment of the 10,000 Police Men.

He also said the Commission considers the exercise remarkable since there has not been recruitment into the Nigeria Police Force for more than five years due to financial constraints.

He explained that the Commission could not commence the exercise last year because the funding was not captured in the 2015 budget.

The PSC added that with the commencement of the process on April 1, interested Nigerians should access the portal through the Commission’s websitewww.psc.gov.ng or that of the Nigeria Police Force, www.npf.gov.ng.

The PSC Chairman also announced that there will be no charges for the processing of the forms which will be done on-line.

Ani quoted the Chairman as saying: “we are not charging money. It is free, absolutely free.”

He also reportedly noted that the portal has been structured in a way that there will be no short cut; “Everybody must go through due process”, he said.

The Commission also said it will be recruiting candidates into the three entry points of the Nigeria Police Force which are Constable, Cadet Inspector and Cadet ASP.

There will also be recruitment into the Specialist cadre, the PSC statement said.

“For Police Constables, applicants are expected to posses five credit level passes including Mathematics and English Language at Senior School Certificate Examination in not more than two sittings,” Ani said.
