Bodyguard

It's basically a reimagined Condor. Ba God! The plot sensationalism emanating from the primary plot line reeks to high heavens. Maybe I'm cynical, but wit-wise, shows like Bodyguard don't stimulate me at all, for I can see some "unexpected" twists coming a mile away. The over dramatization variable is directly proportional to shock and awe's, hence, the shock and awe variable is the product of the over dramatization variable, and a constant. Suffice to say, it's a bland show, and inferior to the slow burn, intelligently written and hyper-realistic Line of Duty, imo. Hard to imagine that Mercurio wrote such a generic content. I suspect lots of folks are overhyping the hell out of it, cuz of the "Jed Mercurio" factor. A testament to the auspicious nature of a good branding, I guess.

This is why I generally prefer slow burners. They are always original in their storytelling, and oftentimes, you can't tell what's lurking around the corners.

I'm in my first year at the university, UNIBEN to be precise. I'm quite intelligent (so to say) but there's something that's always bothering me.


I'm a very shy person and it's affecting my education. Anytime I want to speak in public, I find myself stammering even when I know what to say; I just can't express myself as I should.

Is there anyway I can improve on that??

I really want to be confident, I want to be able to express myself very well. The English is not the problem 'cus I'm developing it gradually.

Please is there suggestions? Anything I can do to improve?

I get offended when I see you pastors wannabes mislead people without having idea of what message you are spreading. Christians these days have completely ignore apostle Paul's teaching, there are different doctrines which is not supposed to be and also different churches which is wrong but we can always talk about that later.

Now about speaking in tongue this is what Apostle Paul had to say;

1st Corinthians 14:1-40
1) Follow the way of love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts, especially the gift of prophecy.
2) For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God. Indeed, no one understands him; he utters mysteries with his spirit.
3) But everyone who prophesies speaks to men for their strengthening, encouragement and comfort.
4) He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church.
5) I would like every one of you to speak in tongues, but I would rather have you prophesy. He who prophesies is greater than one who speaks in tongues, unless he interprets, so that the church may be edified.
6) Now, brothers, if I come to you and speak in tongues, what good will I be to you, unless I bring you some revelation or knowledge or prophecy or word of instruction?
7) Even in the case of lifeless things that make sounds, such as the flute or harp, how will anyone know what tune is being played unless there is a distinction in the notes?
Again, if the trumpet does not sound a clear call, who will get ready for battle?
9) So it is with you. Unless you speak intelligible words with your tongue, how will anyone know what you are saying? You will just be speaking into the air.
10) Undoubtedly there are all sorts of languages in the world, yet none of them is without meaning.
11) If then I do not grasp the meaning of what someone is saying, I am a foreigner to the speaker, and he is a foreigner to me.
12) So it is with you. Since you are eager to have spiritual gifts, try to excel in gifts that build up the church.
13) For this reason anyone who speaks in a tongue should pray that he may interpret what he says.

14) For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my mind is unfruitful.
15) So what shall I do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will also pray with my mind; I will sing with my spirit, but I will also sing with my mind.
16) If you are praising God with your spirit, how can one who finds himself among those who do not understand say "Amen" to your thanksgiving, since he does not know what you are saying?
17) You may be giving thanks well enough, but the other man is not edified.
18) I thank God that I speak in tongues more than all of you.
19) But in the church I would rather speak five intelligible words to instruct others than ten thousand words in a tongue.
20)Brothers, stop thinking like children. In regard to evil be infants, but in your thinking be adults.

One day. I am going to open a thread and write everything I have read in the bible that every pastor especially Africans have turned upside down to favor them. From women anchoring programs in churches to women not covering their heads, to churches having different names and doctrine under one body "Christ" to offering and tithes and pastors extravagant lives to calling pastors daddies and their wives mommies its all there in the bible.

Stop writing an open letter to glo when there are other better networks for browsing. Their internet is pound wise, penny foolish. Airtel 3gig Bis still working on Android is 1,000. The Catholic Church did not start getting heat today from people. It started from the time the Church deviated from the Bible, and became a POLITICAL PARTY in the 14th and 15th Century.

The Catholic Church became too powerful.

And it is on record that most Pope from that Era were Closet/Open Gays, who liked little boys, and that problem still persists with the amount the Catholic Church around the World keep paying money yearly to little boys molested by Catholic Priests.

As an individual, my problem with the Catholic has to do with the way they worship, as it is almost idolatry. Why can't i as a Christian pray to God directly?why do i need one statue, picture or something to intercede for me?why do i need to be calling the name of this Saint or that Saint to intercede on my behalf?

Why do i need to confess my sins in a Booth to another man(Reverend Father) when i can talk to God directly?is the Reverend Father now a gate keeper to God or Heaven?

Jesus gave his disciples the power to forgive sins in John 20: 23 telling them whoever's sins you forgive are forgiven and whoever's you retain are retained. The Catholic priests are representatives of the he apostles in today's world, just like the Pope is the representative of St. Peter. If Jesus wanted his people to simply 'talk to God directly', he would not have done this

But all these pale in comparison to one SIN i will never forgive the Catholic for. And that SIN is to make ABLE MEN with WORKING PRIVATE PARTS not be able to MAKE LOVE, or have babies just because they want to be Catholic Priests. Who made that DAMN LAW? God put a D--K on a man's body for a reason, but the Catholic, who in some way are claiming GOD are forcing MEN not to use it, because they want to serve God.

Can you imagine a priest balancing God's work and his family appropriately, celebrating mass every day and caring for his family
Even in the same Bible that you accuse us of not beleiving tells us in Luke 14 vs 26 when Jesus clearly spell out to the crowd the cost of becoming a disciple : to forsake his father mother wife and siblings and follow him

There's no scriptural background in the bible that says Mary can answer or make supplications in prayer.The Bible made it clear you pray to God in the Name of Jesus.
There's nothing like mother of God.God has no mother. No scripture in the bible backs that up.Mary was the mother of Jesus the man while He was on the earth.
