No update since after peer-to-peer interviews. there's nothing to talk about so the thread is really dry. meanwhile, I know someone who was asked to register for training school yesterday. frontline tho. he wasn't asked to open account or sign a bond, I was surprised. guess it's his luck or maybe that one still dey front. |

mehn... I applied since January and only got a confirmation mail. Since then, nothing. No single word from kpmg. even my friend that applied the same time with me has been called up for test. I do not know if I should take it that they dont want me or open another mail and re-apply. can anybody here explain why I'm yet to be called? And is there anyone here in the same situation. Thanks. |

hi everyone, I'm from Edo state but I stay in Lagos. I need your contributions to help me make a better decision on which state to fill in for NYSC next year. the thing is, i want a state that is peaceful and has low cost of living. a state where I can stay in for the entire nysc programme because i don't intend coming back to Lagos until I'm done. I'm not interested in if the state pays corpers or not. I dont need the money and i don't care. I'm aware rivers, akwa ibom, enugu etc pays about 10k but cost of living is high over there so i don't think it's a good place for me. I don't want Lagos either. I just want to go to service and not return till it's over. So please I need previous nysc participants to a name states that they feel meets my requirements. You can add financial details to back it up if possible. thanks. P. S. a state where things are relatively cheap, low cost of living, and is Safe. thanks. |

Good day nairalanders, I noticed that in getting a lecturing job in nigeria, often times the phrase "candidates must have am msc and proof of application for PhD" is included in the job requirements. My question reads thusly... 1. If I do have proof of application for PhD degree in a foreign university and the job I'm applying for is in nigeria. Will they allow me to leave for 3yrs for the phd if I'm given the job. 2. Or must I do my phd in nigeria where I can easily shuffle betwee work and my degree before I will get the job. ...Thanks folks! |
