@newacca, I am an ardent follower of this thread. Have read frm page 1 of d part 1 learning frm d likes of aydewale and d rest,
The only photocopies I submitted in my application was just my sponsor's doc
1. Certificate of incoporation
2. For C07
3. Tax clreance certificate.
Funny enough, I certified every photocopy by a notary public at nnewi building in apapa lagos,
That's d painful part of it.
Like they said, d relationship has to be close enough to allow funding and he was my cousin and d family tree was a little convoluted and its in such a way that there wouldn't be any document I could use to prove the relationship.
I would use my parents as sponsor's this time and my parents brother's as co sponsor's with enough evidence and picture to categorically prove how close we are.
An advise to prospective applicants,
Pls, when u guys apply, make sure u state categorically on ur affidavit of support who would be resposible for your transportation fare and maintanace money ( if u are using an uncle as sponsor, pls, pls and pls, try to include a co sponsor as ur parents , even if its 1M , and they swear and affidavit to pay for ur transportation and maintenace.
CDHC knows that uncle's can pay ur tuition fine. But d monthly sending of money is d responsibilty of ur parents. I am just sayin this cuz of experience I have had so far, from nairaland and off nairaland.
I would be applying in 2 months time for sept cuz my acceptance has musltiple start dates. Just need to fortify my parent's company account,

@ all, oh yes. CDHC bleep me up today with a denial. Funny enough, it seemed mine wasn't a sterotype. It was really specific, detailed and not ticked with pen but every was printed uniquely. Reasons are,
1, You have not convinced me that you have enough financial resources to manitain urself in canada.
2, You have not satisfied me that u have enough financial resources to pay for you tranportation to and from canada,
And most importantly, 3, All documents are to be in original format, insufficient proof of relationship and that relationship is SUFFICIENTLY CLOSE to ensure funding; discrepancies in sponsor information,
The English became too much o jaree.
I would be reapplying in 2 months frm now, Would have to use my parents as sponsor. That's just d best bet and I hope it wouldn't kick against me for changing a sponsor? Thanks
