The way we see number calling shows a great deal about our personalities sha. The number calling people do here makes me more focused on my investment goal....like I should have started yesterday. I wish I was on this forum when I was in University so I could have gotten on the bus earlier with my peanut allowances. To each his/her own. Either way, the number calling shouldn't intimidate anyone from the investment goals. Investment is not a competition, it's a slow and steady race. Doing it consistently the key, not the amount.

If it has already been confirmed that the files are not too large, you may want to check your network. Submitting the form requires very good connectivity. You can even try at odd times when there is little traffic.

Alternatively, chat me up
They've responded to my mail and I've been able to resolve the issue.
Thank you.

There are alternatives to utility bills that bear your name. Your NIN or bank account statement can be used in place of utility bills. Any government-issued ID that has your address will do.
I have been experiencing difficulty uploading all the documents. The sizes are below 100kb. I just keep getting long codes of error message. I have sent mail to stanbic ibtc mutual fund customer care since monday but no response. Is there any help you can offer?

Present sir!
Thank you for highlighting the calculation for Monthly Performance. You’re absolutely correct—while other metrics are based on fixed calendar periods, the monthly calculation currently uses the last 30 days. This approach, while insightful, is not consistent compared to the others.

Addressing this is a top priority. The calculation will be updated to reflect changes from the start of the calendar month for alignment with other timeframes. Your feedback is amazing shocked, and I sincerely appreciate your patience as this adjustment is implemented promptly.
Just want to express my appreciation for your site. It's a blessing for someone like me that at times find investing.com overwhelming. You are doing great.

Hi all. Pls endeavor to drop your picks, especially dividend paying stocks. This will help me and others like me to streamline the companies we ought to watch out for. It will also make it easier for us to do our DD. Sometimes when i go to yahoo finance and investing to read about US and UK market, i just feel overwhelmed and i just leave and come back here as this is my comfort forum for stock opinions , news etc. I would like to start my journey in this stock market in the next 2-3years and I'm trying to learn and watch out for trend in this stock market. Thank you all for the contributions so far.

It is a gamble..........If you sell, you cash out N1.60 immediately. If you hold and they meet the required 90% after the deadline, then they will forcefully foreclose your shares at the same N1.60.

But if after the deadline, they did not meet up the required 90%, then that means there will be fewer shares available to trade on the floor (Free Float), which may or may not cause a rally; and they may have to offer a higher price above N1.60.

Please note that the above is not a buy or sell recommendation, and should be taken as a Hypothesis.
Yeah i understand.

Most people replying you are actually ill-informed of the workings of an MTO especially with respect to IEI.

The MTO will stand only if shareholders give up at least 90% of the 634,212,476 IEI shares Norrenberger is seeking to buy. If by the end of the deadline, they are able to get at least 90%, the remaining 10% shares of those who did not accept the offer will be taken forcefully.

But if at the end of the deadline, shareholders did not give up at least 90%, Norrenberger will have to make another bid with a better price. So the onus now lies on those holding IEI shares.
Thank you for the explanation.

A loan will charge interest albeit at a low rate depending on your personal circumstances. What you require is a 0% purchase credit card over a longish period. That way you can pay your IHS and have ample time to pay off the credit card without accruing any interest.
Thanks. Kindly tell me more about the 0% purchase credit card. How do I go about getting one.

Any loan provider, would use your credit report to ascertain your loan eligibility status.......

The better your credit report, the lower your APR........ Some loan companies might take a chance on you, but would charge you neck breaking and pocket bursting Apr rates.......

Novuna and Admiral, are very good for best credit score........ 118118 would charge you pocket bursting interest rates........

NB: Register with Experian/clearscore/totallymoney, and conduct a loan eligibility check.........
I have used experian to conduct loan eligibility check and was giving some suggestions. I'm just hoping I can get more information here. Thanks.

** Pls which registrar is for Transpower:
** It should be AFRICAN PRUDENTIAL

** I could not find it on any of the registrars form on SEC website and the ones Morgan capital sent to me: ** It's because it's newly listed and the E-Div Forms available are existing ones

** Also, when I contacted Morgan capital about info and assistance on how to go about the E -dividend, they sent me a stock transfer form to fill in addition to a list of registrars form. Pls can someone explain the purpose of the stock transfer form:
** The Stock Transfer Form is used for Signature confirmation. Even if you send Form to a Registrar, they'll still request for confirmation of your signature from your broker..... More reason your broker sent it to you to sign (they'll assist you to fill for each Registrar to avoid back on forth on mistakes. You only needed to sign the relevant column only.
This was really helpful. I appreciate it so much.

- It's not part of the account opening process
-You need to fill E-Dividend forms with Registrars for mandate
- Some Registrars have online portal whereby you can fill it online and submit......Africa Prudential is among.....you can Google others
- You can visit this link to download some Registrars forms too.

RomanceLadies Worth Your Interest by Palomadove(op):
So I spoke with some of my friends and siblings this new year to gist. The gist led to relationship talk, and I was amazed and disappointed by their stories. These are ladies that i always thought I would love to marry if I were a man. Hearing about how unlucky they are with men just gets me bothered. Some of them are social while some aren't. I thought of how I could help bring awareness to them, so I thought of Nairaland seeing I met my husband here 10 years ago. I know what Nigeria and online dating as a whole has turned into, but a tender part of me still hopes there are fearful, respectful, and gentlemen looking for similar women to start something beautiful with.

I'm going to list them by nicknames and say somethings I know about them. Then, I will attach their numbers (I wish I had all their emails). Pls read the profiles carefully and go for just one. Don't do two birds are better than one...
I'm only going to drop their birth month and day for those who would like to check horoscope compatibility

Firstly, OmoT
D.O.B- Oct 8
Genotype- AS
S.O.O- Oyo state
H.Q- B.Sc. (Lead City University)
Career- Business (Has her own store and sells online also)
Residence- Ibadan
She is a troublesome lady when she feels comfortable around someone. When I say troublesome, I meant in the way last borns are. This aspect of her always amazes me kind of. She is a simple lady and desires simple things in life. She is peaceful in nature. She is reserved and shy, an introvert, but you will be surprised how outgoing she becomes when she is finally out of her shell. She can kill you with calls that I had to ban her from calling me at some point. She fits spoil kids for Africa. She is an always-there-for you kind of woman, loyal to a fault that it annoys me at times. She is a natural worrier and carer. A christian to boot but not religious. She enjoys watching movies, reading novels, going to cinema whenever she can find someone to do gum-body with, and going to the beach.
She is looking for a marriage-minded man (Christian and yoruba) of 34 - 40 years.

Secondly, Asologe
D.O.B- June 10
Genotype- AS
S.O.O- Ekiti state
H.Q.- B.Sc (EKSU)
Career- Fashion designer
Residence- Lagos
She has the most wonderful laugh I've ever had. She's quite tall (I think 5'7). She is very industrious and started her fashion business before she gained admission. Always doing training in one fashion school or the other in order to grow. She is also a fashionable person in her daily life. Always looking good. Her definition of "simply dressed" is on another level. Only the makeup will tell you how simple She's dressed. She is fun-loving. Likes going out to fun places to relax. She cooks, but not her strong suit (I always do the cooking when I go to her place). She loves kids and can spoil them in Africa. She can be quite reserved at times but not shy. She's a straight shooter. She's very ambitious and always says she wants a man who is also ambitious like her, if not more. She has a beautiful smile. Can go extramile for those that she loves and she loves deeply. A christian but not religious. She loves watching movies and going to fun places. She is looking for a marriage minded man (christian) of 33 - 38 years.

Thirdly, Purpose
D.O.B- Dec 25
Genotype- AS
S.O.O- Ekiti state
H.Q.- B.Sc (EKSU)
Career- Laboratory scientist
Residence- Lagos
The best word to describe her personality is crazy but in a good way. She is always fun-loving. She has a big personality, always in one charitable cause or the other. Makes friends easily that it annoys me at times. She can go the extramile for those who need her help. Always ready to help. She loves to be pampered but also enjoys pampering others. She can kill with pamper. Her hobby is dancing and having fun. She is like a rollercoaster of activities, she makes my head spin. Always happy. An extrovert. A christian but not religious.
She's looking for a marriage-minded man (christian) of 32 -38 years.

Fourthly, kiki
D.O.B- you will have to ask her cos I'm not sure
Genotype - I can't remember
S.O.O- Oyo state
H.Q.- 400L (AAU, Ondo state)
Residence- Ibadan, Mowe
She likes gum-body too much. Her wahala is too much. Can kill me with a question. She was raised as omo-get-inside, so she can be quite shy and reserved, but she has an extrovert nature. She loves to have fun and go to new places. She is gentle in nature, a homely lady. She is someone like me who's not so good with social media and chatting, so please be patient with her. Some people are just like that, but that doesn't mean we are not good conversationalist. She's a christian but not religious.
She's looking for a serious relationship with a man (christian) of 24 - 27 yrs.

NB; I just opened this account for this purpose.
Any interested party should PM me for contacts cool. Ciao
