Okay what u need is a research vessel to gain experience, else u can go to nimasa and seek placement as an IT student, but make sure u have some stcw documents that can give you an edge. I am a mariner but my documentation is not accepted in Nigeria so I will have to upgrade.

But why isn't ur documentation accepted here? Don't u think if might also apply to my case if I see job abroad since there are no cruise lines in Nig. Besides I have chnged my mine, I no longer want 2 work onboard vessel but as an environmenralist in a maritime or pollution coy preferably abroad.

There are overseas scholarship u can benefit from now. Come to our facebook page (http://facebook.com/dmainmanfoundation) and like the page to regularly get updates as I wont have time again posting here. Many oda scholarships has passed like malaysia, indonesia, turkey government scholarships, Agip, FSB, NITDA, NDDC, PRESSID etc.

If u have first class, dont waste your hard earned money and pay to study in d uk or us with your little resources. U should b d one selecting d scholarships u want.

if u av 2.1. Some scholarships are meant for only first class but dat doesnt stop u from not applying. U wil eventually get wen u persistently apply as u are eligible for most scholarships.

if u av 2.2. u are eligible to apply for nddc scholarship and ptdf, if u av relevant oil and gas experience. Since most MSc scholarships are for 2.1 and first class. U can actually boost yourself by having a good masters degree for PHD or anoda MSc scholarship.
