The process deh straight forward and their score requirements no high.

I heard most Nigerian graduate students here blast their courses... Met one electrical man with a 4.0 total GPA at graduation and seen two others with A's in all their courses so far.

So.... There is hope for us cheesy + at international orientation, school official say 'A GPA of 3.0 isn't bad'. grin maybe for those with kpali
You are very much correct, if you are a good student in Naija, you won't have single problem getting 4.0 here if you are serious. I mean how can you have low score here with just 3 courses per semester while you did well in Naija with 5 - 11 courses per semester. But u need to be serious

Also, most of their exam here are OBJ grin grin grin.....can be difficult sometimes though because of plenty assignment. Lecturer here are not like Naija lecturer that will require you to write word for word in the exam.

To cap it all, try to do well in your first semester to increase your chance of G.A and scholarship for the rest of your program.

Our debt to the heroic men and valiant women in the service of our country can never be repaid.

They have earned our undying gratitude and we will never forget their sacrifices.

Also it doesn’t take a hero to order men into battle to server their fatherland. It takes a hero to be one of those men who goes into battle.

Rest In Peace Man of Honor.

Respect!!!

Thanks abujaniv,

I must say that i have very good and reasonable work/income here in Nigeria with a Financial Institution. I just wanna go visit them for 2 or 3 weeks depending on my leave from work. Can i stick to B1/B2 to visit my family this time around because she was still in Nigeria during my previous application or can i apply for F2 even though i don't wanna stay more than 3weeks max, i am not ready to resign now because am the one financing her study over there with my lil boy.

abujaniv:
Hello Panama07. An issue with most of the derivative visas (F2, J2, M2, etc.) is that while the principle applicant is studying or doing an exchange program, the trailing family members can't work. So the expenses for the family go up, while the earning potential goes down. It becomes difficult to prove that the family can exist in America without resorting to illegal work or reliance on public assistance. Everyone must qualify on their own merits. The same non-immigrant qualifications apply to B1/B2 visas as F2s, but with the latter, one is implicitly saying that they will be living off of savings or the borrowed funds of the principle applicant student.

Applications are considered separately, but applicants are evaluated comprehensively.

Dear V.O,

I have applied for visitors visa twice but denied. My wife is presently in US studying for her master program with my son. I want to visit them, can I apply for F2 visa this time around. Secondly, is there any correlation between previous applications and fresh one.

Thanks.
