Hi there Nairaland,
I am traveling to Dubai in Dec and I would like to find out about the places where I can go for affordable shopping for myself. And also I'm a salsa lover, so I need to know about the best salsa club.
I will be there for about 10days, so if anyone lives there or will also be there for the holydays, well let me know so we can hang out together.

But, let's try to be a little bit truthful here! The guy is an Igbo man, I'm Igbo so I know how 'controlling' our men can be! He's ready to drop EVERYTHING just to follow her to wherever, even without her parent's consent!

I think he knows what he stands to gain. An Igbo man doesn't even leave his church to get married . . . not to talk of his whole life/root!

I'm not saying the guy's a gold digger . . . But it does look a bit suspicious!

You know I was also worried about the same thing, why would he leave his business and follow me where I'm, But he said because he loves me and if my dad doesn't want me in Naija, then he will move, So I said ok,
But even if he was to gain something from me, what would that be I'm not super rich, just upper middle class,
I don't know, I feel like he is the perfect person for me, but things are becoming harder than I expected,

Well, I am from West Africa, and looking for a job right now. So he is willing to move with me wherever I am.
Because my dad doesn't want me to go to Naija, so he is willing to follow me. And yes he is Igbo.

I have know my boyfriend for just over a year. When we met I was living in the US and he was in Nigeria. His brother who live is the US hooked us up. So most of our relationship was throu emails, chat and phone calls.
Few months ago I came to Kenya to visit my father, and my boyfriend decided to come so that we could finally meet. So he came and we met, he is a wonderful person.
He insisted to come and see my father because he wants us to get married. So he met him, and everything went well.
Before my dad met him, he wanted me to fortget about my BF because of the bad reputations that Nigerians have, and he thought it was a scam. After meeting him, he still thinks that he is not serious, and is a liar. He just doesn't trust him.
So I don't know what to do, I love my BF and don't want to disapoint my dad.
