It seems like 2020 is about to be a massive music year for fans of Canadian singer, Justin Bieber. After a long hiatus, the star has returned with his first official solo single in two years titled “Yummy.” Fans of Bieber must be the best new year’s gift receivers so far.
The song “Yummy” was however teased during a short preview of his Youtube documentary “Justin Bieber: Season” which is expected to be premiered on the 27th of January later this month. The Nigerian rapper, Zlatan Ibile, is gearing up to release his debut album titled ‘Zanku’.

Apart from being an explicit achievement to his involvement in popularizing the current dance craze in the country, the album title is also an acronym for ‘Zlatan abeg no kill us’, a prominent statement attributed to the rapper’s role in back-to-back hit singles.

This fresh album will be released on the 1st of November 2019, and it is set to house 17 tracks. In addition to “Zanku (Leg Work)”, his sleeper hit “This Year” and the Tiwa Savage-featured “Shotan” are the other previously released singles on the album. There aren’t any other guest appearances detailed on the current tracklist, but considering his star power and the calibre of artistes he’s worked with in the last year, there likely will be a couple of features.

Organizers of prestigious Nigerian music award ceremony; “The Headies” have exactly on the 1st of October, 2019 released the nominees list for the forthcoming 2019 award show.
The organisers have revealed there are 23 unique categories of awards that would be reviewing the musical efforts of African artistes between January 2018 & June 2019. The 13th edition which has been themed; “Power of A Dream” would be held on the 19th of October, 2019.
