Sometimes I feel bad leaving the private sector o but we thank God for life while we hope for better days. In my last place of employment before leaving, all the guys in my unit transition to Sterling as BO. The pay is awesome.

You don't need to know someone who knows someone. You just need to know your onions.

I reserved that 10% for a reason. Sometimes, you need connections to get your CV considered at certain banks, especially for entry-level roles at Zenith and Keystone, which are actually among the lowest-paying banks at the entry level.

That said, their recruitment processes are 100% transparent. I interviewed with both banks and successfully passed all the stages, but I didn’t end up working at either of them.

At Zenith, my final interview was with Dame Adaora Umeoji, the current GMD/CEO, when she was the Head of Risk Management. At Keystone, I interviewed with Abubakar Danlami Sule, the former MD/CEO.

Na this kind mentality dey keep many people for one place. Many banks and financial institutions pay their entry level core staff ET 500k+ plus other benefits and it’s 90% merit.

TCN to NISO is not secondment but rather TCN was split into two TCP and NISO. Some staff fell under NISO and some under TCP (TCN). TCN salary is good but a friend that work in TCN as a contract staff says that NISO salary is better.

Stop being arrogant and trying to massage your ego. I won’t try to enter where I already belong. I’ve gone through some of your posts, and I can tell you that I’ve always been a strong fan of the private sector. I’ve worked there , in telecoms power, and banking before transitioning into the government sector. That banking job you keep shouting about, I’ve been there. Even in the paramilitary, with a good posting and an active mind, you can earn that same ₦1 million as a Level 08 officer even though it may not be consistent. You can encourage people in your own way, but don’t spread false information. If God permits, I’ll soon transition back to the private sector either oil and gas or the NGO. I’m a strong advocate of the belief that not everyone should work for the government, and I’ll sincerely encourage my children to explore the private sector early in their careers.

I just ended a call with a very sincere sister of mine and she confirmed to me that NASENI now has a salary scale different from CONRAIS. She’s not on seat at the moment, according to her she has to be on ground, hopefully by next weekend to confirm the entry salary from the appropriate quarters which she cannot do via phone. And off course there are allowances now.

For Naseni, they use CONRAISS though there was a rumour about increment but I really doubt it.

Secondly, FG cannot just increase salary for one agency under CONRAISS.

No too doubt am. Dem pay them huge allowance recently.
