Without prejudice to last nights PSG/Bayern Muchen match which I seriously enjoyed as a neutral,the simple fact is that both teams have poor and porous defence lines.
While it is good to attack at all times,it is also important to have a reliable defence line.
Thinking that you will always out score your opponent may work sometimes but it will not work ALL times. This was the mentality that did the marvellous Brazilian national team in at the 1982 world cup versus Italy. It was what did PSG in against Chelsea in the World Cup final last year.
A tactical and clever coach will finally come up on top against a coach who believes he will always out score his opponent at all times.
Watching last nights Champions league semi final gave me more confidence that Manchester United with clever signings in the summer will challenge for the Champions league next season.

We had that opportunity with Pep as Fergie's successor but I feel Sir Red-nose screwed things up, no matter how hard he tries to deny it.

I think if we had managed to get Guardiola in 2013, his reign would have set the precedence for future hires in terms of results and ofcourse, style of play.

I feel Enrique is out of reach. City even appear to have a better chance of landing him ahead of us. The man even strikes me as someone who would rather wait for Pep to resign.

With the realistic options out there, one can only "park the bus", maximise whatever goalscoring oppprtunities that come, and ofcourse, hope for a bit of luck.
