You know how I roll. Got the episode a bit earlier, didn't wanna comment so I don't ruin this great episode for everyone.

On the issue of Korra and Aang's abilities, it goes without question - Korra isn't worthy to clean Aang's shoes. She is JUST too weak to be considered a worthy material to be compared with even the weakest avatars.

Aang was the best avatar by a long margin in my opinion.

This is the most feminist TV show I have ever watched. So many female characters that matter. Yes, I also feel embarrassed that Korra gets her ass whooped by beatable characters all the time, but I think it will make the show sweeter when she finally gets her act together.

Korra is a legend, we get that from the title. "Avatar, the Legend of Korra". She is doing lots of thing during her time as the avatar.
Aang did two things during his time as avatar. He ran away when was 12 and hide for 100yrs, we get from the title "Avatar, the Last Air bender", and he stopped fire lord Ozi, fire lord Ozi is a less powerful bender than fire lord Sozin which is why Aang was able to stop him easily.

Pple, don't take my statements the wrong way.
I share your passion for the last air bender. He is the reason I'm still watching Korra. Aang was awesome! Funny and guffy and when he was in avatar state he was unstoppable. I have never felt that kind of intensity about an animation.
I just think some critics here on NL are too harsh on Korra. Korra is not the perfect avatar but neither was Aang. In fact there is no such thing as the perfect Avatar. They all had strengths and weaknesses.
