What truth are you talking about. I wish you could be courageous enough to tell me where you worship,I would have told you what the real truth is. But since you aint the bold type, just hide your face in shame and accept defeat.

Place of worship has nothing to do with preaching the truth. Most Nigerian churches for instance preach the tithe doctrine even though it is false and not applicable to christianity yet most people still attend these churches.

Interesting I have discussed about islam and it's mostly illiterate adherents. .

I know that northern Nigeria which is predominantly muslim has one of the highest illiteracy population in the world..u are very correct.

But we still have phd holders and even children of the elite joining isis and other islamic terror organisations, I think the problem goes far beyond mere illiteracy.

Are all other Bibles any better?. You talk about anti-christ, arent bunch of ridiculous verses in the Bible ridiculing Jesus, other great prophets and God Himself, including KJV that you so much love. Which of the Bibles is really relevant, to me.................NONE

Even the quoran is not relevant to you or anyone else alive today. tongue

Congratulations on emancipating yourself and I wish you the best in your search of the truth. However I would like you to study the teachings of Jesus Christ and his gospel which is based on pure love. Kindly note that I am not asking you to become a christian(the decision is purely yours) I just want you to take your time to learn more about the teachings of Jesus from the gospels and get to know his message.

Religion / Re: Why Should A Pastor Drive A 10 Million Naira Car? by PastorKun(m): 11:34am On Mar 07, 2015

Like i said, one man's cheap is another man's expensive. 100,000 may be expensive and big money to me or some people, but so many more are millionaires and billionaires. Context matters. The pastor isn't the one that killed Jesus so i don't see why he can't use something affordable in his context. All fingers are not equal. Can i send my children to school in Harvard and MIT if i can afford it as a christian or they should stay at home or go to school of nursing Abule-igbo because people are dying or have not eaten well in Somalia? Like vooks asked, what amount do you suggest for Christians to spend to buy car, I'm sure you know Jesus was talking to all His followers, not only pastor.

Olodo, the issue here is about a pastor using church resources to live a flamboyant life style. If the money used came from the pastors work or business outside the church, nobody would raise an eyebrow.

I answered it clearly enough. Nothing inciting. You'd see it if you read the post, if you read with your mind open. So, once again, GO BACK AND READ THE POST!

I raised additional questions pertaining to "religion being only for allah" and jizya which you are deliberately refusing to address.

@OP
He may have been given or may be able to afford it. All fingers are not equal, my expensive may be someone else's cheap. Someone may use a 150thousand naira car or no car and still go to hell. It's good though that the pastor or person not be insensitive to his niche or proud. In summary, a man's life doesn't consist of what he possesses.

You still haven't repented from your evil ways of defending corruption in the church

What kind of evidence do you need? Video recordings?? The poster lifted verses among a set of verses, as a result it changed the meaning completely. Despite the fact that I have quoted the missing verses and explained the content, which is obviously about defence, you still say there is no evidence. Well, I'm happy that at least people with open minds will read and see for themselves!

Later you'd say Muslims don't defend allegations laid against their religion, it's simply because no matter what, you never see past your pre-conceived judgement!

How does "fighting till religion is only for allah "translate to being defensive Or instructions to kill all pagans, subdue christians/jews and collect jizya from them translate to being defensive warfare Would you care to explain?
Religion / Re: Why Should A Pastor Drive A 10 Million Naira Car? by PastorKun(m): 9:02am On Mar 06, 2015

Even if was a gift, a true humble servant of his community of poorer christians would sell the car for cash, and then use such for the welfare of the less fortunate in that community (and there are plenty plenty of them ).
This is would be a greater shining example of self-sacrifice.

How come it is always the poor flock that are called upon to make self-sacrifices?

A true Pastorship should , by necessity, entail that the person claiming higher calling should always sacrifice his personal worldly comfort for the greater fruits of spiritual riches and salvation.
Not so

Well that's Good for them. I didn't call anyone an extremist. I think we have to input these teachings in the modern world. Where it is not okay to just go killing people.

I glad you realise it's not ok yet your quoran which mohammed claims is the word of God and is relevant for all time teaches otherwise, does that not call to question the credibility of the quoran and the religion it promotes?

Child marriage is not just about religion but how sane people behave in a civilised society. It is a highly deplorable thing that must condemned without any equivocation.

No.
No no.
Pastordship should never ever be a guarantee of comfort.
A true pastor should never live above the comfort level of his community or society.
A pastor should happily eat grass or mud if that is what the majority in his community are blessed with.
True pastorship is about sacrifice, humility, simplicity and condescending to immerse one self to the socio-economic level of the community.

A true calling most come with true self - sacrifice.
This is the essence of all that Jesus thought.
Anything else is null and void, and is a toxic garbage.

What a great pity that it takes an athiest to educate christians about the simple teachings attributed to Jesus.
Pity indeed.

Are you sure you haven't reverted to christianity? grin

Buyers Beware!!
Ifeann aka parisbookaddict is a licensed manipulator. She has twisted the Quran verses to fit the holy book into her warped imagination of evil. If you read Q4:89 and 4:90, you will get the idea that Allah is only ordering Muslims to fight back those who were fighting them. See the way she just lifted "seize them and slay them...", just to paint Islam back. She's evil

Q4:89
"They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks"

Q4:90
"Except those who join a group between whom and you there is a treaty (of peace), or those who approach you with hearts restraining them from fighting you as well as fighting their own people. If Allah had pleased, He could have given them power over you, and they would have fought you: Therefore if they withdraw from you but fight you not, and (instead) send you (Guarantees of) peace, then Allah Hath opened NO way for you (to war against them)"

It's the same thing that she's done here. The next verse after the one she mutilated proofs that those disbelievers were fighting Muslims non-stop, before Muslims retaliated.

Q2:216
"Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not"

Q2:217
"They ask thee concerning fighting in the Prohibited Month. Say: "Fighting therein is a grave (offence); but graver is it in the sight of Allah to prevent access to the path of Allah, to deny Him, to prevent access to the Sacred Mosque, and drive out its members." Tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter. Nor will they cease fighting you until they turn you back from your faith if they can. And if any of you Turn back from their faith and die in unbelief, their works will bear no fruit in this life and in the Hereafter; they will be companions of the Fire and will abide therein"

Read this complete verse and compare it with her mutilated version...
Q9:36
"The number of months in the sight of Allah is twelve (in a year)- so ordained by Him the day He created the heavens and the earth; of them four are sacred: that is the straight usage. So wrong not yourselves therein, and fight the Pagans all together as they fight you all together. But know that Allah is with those who restrain themselves"

Ifeann aka parisbookaddict is delusional, she makes everything appear the way she sees in her head, even if it means engaging in extreme dishonesty!

I have addressed other verses twisted around by her associates (some of which she mentioned here) in this link. You'll find two posts regarding it.

https://www.nairaland.com/2168936/non-muslims-only-prophet-demon-possessed/4#31313517

I don't get your point, cause even from what you have posted here we can still see that Islam is a religion that encourages violence and there is no evidence that they are even fighting to defend themselves as you wrongly claimed. It is a well documented fact that islamic jihad are mostly offensive and not defensive as you are trying to mislead us here.
Islam for Muslims / Re: Friday Message: Did Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) Marry A Child? by PastorKun(m): 9:01am On Mar 05, 2015

Appreciate your openness. That is why i would reply you and ignore the other rants.
Your line of argument is quite impressive but you made major errors. In Islamic law, issues are divided into two: Religious and Mundane. We are bound to follow the Prophet in religious issues. In mundane issues, everyone is free to follow what he or his current society deems right.
Of course, you do not see Muslims riding horses and camels; you do not see Muslims living in deserts nor do you see Muslims wearing izhar (ancient Arab wrapper). These are mundane issues which are not legislated by Islam, rather, regulated. But in religious issues, they are both legislated and regulated. We HAVE TO pray the same way He prayed, fast the same way He fasted, on and on...

The issue of woman's marry-able age is the focal point of this discussion. As said earlier

This is because this issue is mundane.

Please note the difference.

Thanks for your openness, i wish it would lead you to guidance.
Goodluck to the evil ranters, i hope they would also get guided.

The issue of child marriage is not and can never be a mundane issue. It is a very deplorable, disgusting and ignominious act that should NEVER be tolerated in any sane society. It is a criminal act and who ever indulges in it should be condemned even if such a person claims to be a prophet.
