Big Brother Naja, BBNaija housemate, Mercy has openly confessed likeness for disqualified housemate, Tacha

DAILY POST recalls that Tacha was disqualified following a violence that broke out between herself and arch-rival, Mercy, on Friday, 27th September.

Her disqualification sparked uproars with so many going on to throw cash gift at the self-acclaimed Port-Harcourt First Daughter.

However, Mercy who was given two strikes for her behaviour told Big brother that she liked Tacha from day 1 in the show.

Expressing sadness over the fight which broke out between them, Mercy added that she had hoped Tacha would stay in the show till the final day.

She said this during her diary session with Biggie on Thursday night.

Mercy said: “Tacha does not know but I liked her from day one in BBNaija house, Biggie and some people know I’ve never seen her as a problem.

“I actually wanted to see her in the finals but things went that way.

“Tacha is one of those people you like deep down in your heart without other people knowing, I actually wanted to see her in the finals but what happened just made it impossible.

“We both lost our tempers, did not think deeply and take precautions.”

[center]El-Rufai makes shocking revelations about kidnappers, Boko Haram[/center]

The Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir el-Rufai, has claimed that kidnappers are now collaborating with “some elements of Boko Haram”, to hold people for ransom.

El-Rufai stated this on Friday, while addressing State House correspondents.

He was speaking 24 hours after gunmen abducted six schoolgirls and two staff members, from a boarding school in Kaduna.

The Governor confirmed that the kidnappers had made contact with the parents of the victims, but refused to disclose the ransom they are demanding.

“First, I must say it is most unfortunate and tragic. For us in Kaduna for this kidnap of children and teachers to happen. The report I got is that six students of a private secondary school were kidnapped along with two teachers.

“As at this morning (Friday), the kidnappers have made contacts with the parents, and we have got the parents of the kidnapped children and the relations of the teachers to be in one place so that, there is one line of communications with the kidnappers to facilitate their release.

“However, from the moment of the kidnap, the security agencies, all agencies, from the DSS to the Police, the Nigerian Air force, and the Army have been on the matter and I am confident that not only are we going to secure the release of the students and their teachers, but we are going to get the kidnappers by the grace of God.

“It is always a moment of sadness when young people that are trying to get an education become victims of these criminals. But kidnapping has become widespread that for many people, it is not news. For us in Kaduna, this is one of the biggest tragedies and we are doing everything to manage the situation to get the children and their teachers safely and pursue these kidnappers with everything that we have got.

“I get updates every three hours on this and the last update I got is that they are in touch and they are discussing to resolve the matter. We have been receiving intelligence some three months ago, that the bandits have connected with some elements of Boko Haram, and they will be targeting schools to kidnap children because they know that that is what makes the news,” El-Rufai said.

BBNaija: Mercy exposes breast on national Tv as finals draw near [VIDEO]

Big Brother Naija, BBNaija 2019 edition, on Thursday experienced another moment.
This time around the last female BBNAija housemate, Mercy bared her breast on national Tv.
This happened while she was dancing in the garden in front of the other housemates.
NAIJAFLEX recalls that Mercy who appeared to be the most entertaining of all the housemates, had flashed her boobs and stripped sometime ago earlier in the show.
Mercy escaped eviction to the finals after she bought immunity for 2000 coins.
Mercy will on Sunday battle with other four male housemates, Seyi, Frodd, Mike and Omashola to emerge winner of BBNaija ‘Pepper Dem’ edition.

[center]Buhari arrives South Africa for State visit

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday arrived Pretoria, South Africa, for a state visit and 9th meeting of the Bi-National Commission.
Buhari’s spokesman, Garba Shehu, who confirmed this development in a statement in Abuja on Thursday morning, said the 9th meeting of the commission would for the first time witness participation of the two Heads of State after an elevation.
The Bi-National Commission meeting was elevated to the level of Presidents’ participation, following the strategic position of the two economies in Africa and the need for stronger relations.
Shehu disclosed that Buhari and his host, President Cyril Ramophosa, would co-chair the meeting on Thursday.
NAN reports that the President’s plane arrived in the South African Air force Base, Waterkloof, at 9.10 p. m, and he was received by the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Dr Naledi Pandor and Minister of Social Development, Ms Lindiwe Zulu.
Before the meeting which would be held at the Union Building, both Presidents would discuss issues of mutual interests relating to the welfare of citizens, and expanding economic and cultural ties.
Shehu said the visit would enable more harmonious relations between the two largest economies in Africa, and open up more frontiers of opportunities for prosperity by encouraging more exchange and investments, especially for Nigerians.
Shehu said, 32 agreements and Memoranda Of Understanding (MoU) had been signed at the Bi-National Commission, which would be mutually beneficial to both nations.
He added that the meeting would provide an opportunity to review progress.
“President Buhari is on a state visit to South Africa. While in South Africa, the two leaders will review a number of issues in our Bi-National Commission, including issues that affect citizens,’’ he said.
Buhari would also hold an interactive meeting with Nigerians in South Africa before returning to Abuja.
