Someone on this forum said they don't issue temporary license anymore.. How true is this please?

I'm sure he meant to say cover note. Temporary license is issued immediately after biometric capturing.

All avenues to get a national driver license earlier than the normal period of 26 working days has been closed. In some cases of unforseen network issues, portal upgrade by FRSC etc, it may well take much longer than that.

Best bet is to start applying now.

Just like the earlier offer, u don't have to pay now. Send in your personal details, your driving school certificate will be sent to you after 5 weeks( proof of work in progress), you pay n come for biometric capturing within two days (2 days to process your license proper and ensure you do not spend more than an hour for capturing and picking up your temporary license).

3years validity is 25k.

5yrs validity is 30k.

All you are required is to send in your details n wait till driving school certificate is ready. You pay for processing your driver license . biometric capturing takes place two days after payment is made. Capturing can also be fixed on your Convenient day.
