AutosRe: The New Indian Tata Indigo Car Now In Nigeria. (price From 1.47 Million Only.) by paul77: 12:55pm On Jul 02, 2009
Hi All,

I am a late entrant into this discussion but I could not stop myself from replying to Siena who seemed so worst informed about cars (any) or Tata Motors. I am a proud owner of a Tata car and I have returned from India where I have seen strenght of Tata's. In this age, any manufacturer, whether its european, korean or indian, cannot remain so technological different than each other (as mentioned by Siena about electronics & sensors etc) when these technologies are so freely available (at cost). More so, for an indian car (Tata) which is competing with the best in every corner of the world.

Tata models are widely sold in Europe (Spain, Italy, Poland, even in UK where Siena claims to be from). However, Indian market is quite big for them to serve than to US where companies like GM is going bankrupt. It seems Tatas are happy selling in limited parts of this world, making money just to survive.

Tata cars are not cheap considering the originating place. It is not luxurious also. It serves your purpose well and is just value for your money.
Also, other point, Tata cars sold even in Nigeria meets all safety norms (frontal crash, side impact etc).

Tata Motors was the only company in the world to think about each and every as they came up with the idea of smaller cars 'Nano' (priced less) which now everybody wants to ape to survive. They have even unvield Nano version for europe and US with all safety feature. Dont be surprised if Nano with all airbags, ABS sells at US$ 6000 in this market two years from now.

Other thing, Tata's are also owner for Jaguar & Landrover, once british marquee brands, This is called power to surprise.

Hey buddy, New introduction in Auto market - Tata passenger cars have recently been bought to Nigeria, considering the road & climatic conditions for which these cars have been developed (India & Nigeria share same characterstic), These models must be a hit on Nigerian road. Indian also value the robustness in built, lesser cost of operation (good fuel economy & spare parts price), these vehicles must be value for money proposition,

Good to now that all versions available with Tata - Indica (5 door hatchback), Indigo (4 door sedan), Indigo SW (station wagon), Utility vehicle - Sumo & SUV - Safari has been bought in this country, Get interested,
