You can say that again that is a very good news,but it is like you all are forgetting something here .Have you all stopped to think of what the faith of the recent ND holders would be taking to cognizance the attitude of Universities towards Direct entry application.It is obvious that no one can go back to the polytechnic due to this development and the only option left is to go the university that is if one wish to further his/her academics.
Sorry for this,this policy might be a failure if it does not make a provision for the fresh ND holders of non-technical courses in the polytechnics to gain admission into the university without stress and every other things that might be attached.
Reason for this is that,some universities will remain adamant that they will not admit any Direct entry applicant livnig them to wonder about irrespective of their grades.Now tell me,how do you want them(ND holders) to go to in-furtherance of their academics 'cos they can't afford to stop their.
