Misconceptions about the 'three months validity' phrase

I want to shed more light on the 'three months validity' benefit of the MTN data bundles.A lot of people have asked if the data purchased will span for three months without getting exhausted and my answer has always been and is still NO.

The Data Bundles having three months validity means if you don't use up completely, data purchased within the first month, you can continue using it in the second month and if it doesn't get exhausted within the second month, you can use it in the third month. By the end of the third month, if you still have data left, you can top it up and rollover for another three months. If not, the data expires.

Let me get this straight,
assuming i have 2gig but was only able to use 700mb in a month (30 days)
what becomes of the remaining 1.3gig?

Can i use DSTV dish, (i mean only the plate outside) to track and watch FTA channels with a strong decorder?

If yes how can i go about it
NB: My DSTV decoder got burnt and i dont think i will be fixing it anytime soon

has any guru tried it before?
