it av always been a good project and "going back to the grassroots" have always been the gospel of any sports lover or sports analyst..
at least involving some of these local players in important games will improve our performance because they always have dt hunger..
all these talks will end in deaf ears n when any competition is about to start, u would see dt our failed NFF president visiting small clubs to beg them allow our players come n represent us asif its the likes of de bruyne, sallah or benzema him de go beg for...

but when its time for caf or fifa competitions, u call those mediocre so called "superstars" in foreign league and sideline the local based, saying our local players don't have exposure and experience...
stl dnt know how local players can get match experience by sitting on the bench, or is it a crime dt are jus starting n playing in our local league?? all those unserious foreign based we keep calling once played in local leagues too.
thats why this current super eagles can't meet up with those our past eagles because we depended more on raw local talents back then n coaches hardly give huge preference to foreign based unlike now..

-Dortmund won the bundesliga back to back

The teams u can make an argument for are
1) Liverpool who started declining after Rafa benitex left in 2010 or so
2) juventus that were rebuilding and it started paying off for dem immediately from 2011
3) mancity who was also rebuilding under Manuel pelegrini and roberto Mancini before they could win the league in 2012
4) Atletico madrid u just started being a team under the young diego simeone who was appointed in 2009


Dont discredit wat barca did in those years out of hatred sir, they were arguably the best. I have bn supporting madrid since 2009 and i know how it went den. Not that madrid was not good, just that barca were extraordinary which made madrid to wanted to up their game.
