First, I'm handsome, and that alone is self confidence boosting. Secondly, I'm intelligent and fun to be with, and when I started noticing how I was grabbing attention from the opposite sex I became bold. Overcoming shyness also comes with exposure to certain jobs and social environments because when you meet people regularly you lose your shyness. Age is also a factor.
