The North contribute over 40% to the GDP via Agriculture alone. While the East contribute Zero. The East depends on the Norths money for Salaries, projects and everything.

https://www.nairaland.com/8119011/nigerias-five-largest-sectors-2003
Where does it say North there?

You contribute 40% yet you're by quadrillion miles the poorest region and people in west Africa.

When I lived in the east only your people where beggars there

Now I'm in Abuja and almost all your kids here are beggars

Why don't you feed them with all your agricultural produce?

I hate to see those kids starving but it's so useless if you claim you produce so much agricultural products yet the poorest people with hungry kids

Like Goto any area in Abuja you'd see Northern kids with plates begging.

Also what you posted up there is pure lies.

I went to Gwagalada to visit a friend and saw your kids eating leftovers from restaurants... it's painful and disgusting... Just hide under a rock when we talking about household wealth or standard of living.

Only few of your people are very rich while the rest are in abject poverty.

PoliticsRe: South Africans Mocking Nigeria Generator Problem by Paystack(f): 10:05am On Jun 08, 2024
Quintessence44:
Countries like Egypt and South Africa have been seeing development for nearly 2 centuries, even under their colonial rulers who reinvested export earnings into the local economy, as opposed to siphoning 98% of it as occurred in Nigeria and their other black African colonies.

Nigeria's first power plant was Kainji Dam in 1964, despite the British ruling and exporting resources for 70 years prior.

South Africa's first power plants were built in the 1880s!!! Why? Because the European colonisers saw it as ''their country'' and settled there en-masse due to the climate etc. So they did not loot all the resources and siphon to Europe as they did in the rest of black Africa.

Their first universities were built in the 1880s.

By around 1940, South Africa was already a well-developed country.

That is how Nigeria should have been by 1940 as well, if the British weren't greedy thieves, how much more by 1960, when they left us a BUSH as a country, with 94% illiteracy and zero infrastructure.

Nigeria's first full-fledged university was built in 1962, after Independence. First expressway built in the late 1970s. South Africa have had expressways since the 1930s!!!!

So Nigeria is VERY YOUNG IN DEVELOPMENT compared to nations like South Africa and Egypt, for valid historical reasons, and these stupid social media comparisons are designed to inflame the passions of the ignorant and shallow majority.
What a very lame take to excuse the incompetence of your useless nation.

Nigeria is a very corrupt country and that's why we're this poor and miserable.

Yes we're late to embrace proper development but our pace currently can be compared to that of countries like...

Can't even think of any country on earth more corrupt than Nigeria

Nigerian guys are rubbing dicks on South African girls pussssies and big Yansh, including the married South African women, and that is where the hatred is coming from.
I mean their country is better than ours in every positive metric possible when it comes to governance, infrastructure and standard of living

It's shameful your country can't generate even 1/5 of what they generate yet try to run shoulders with them every time.

What's more saddening is... if well managed Nigeria would be 10X better and more habitable than SA

Tinubu payed all Lagos State

Government schools

WAEC examination fees.

As a sitting governor.
Lagos state paid

Tinubu didn't pay the fees with his personal funds but with the funds of Lagos state government.

What is the government? Government are the people!

Based on the subject matter however, it can still be regarded as one of rare privilege enjoyed

PoliticsRe: Igbo Presidency Will Be As Useless As Yoruba And Fulani Presidency Have Been by Paystack(f): 12:46pm On Jun 05, 2024
gidgiddy:
As an Igbo man, I have never seen an Igbo man become President in my life time, and most likely I never will(Thats discussion for another day). But in the last 25 years, I have seen two Yorubas' become President, Obasanjo and Tinubu, and two Fulani's become, Yaradua and Buhari.

These 4 men were at the helm of affairs in Nigeria for a combined 20 years out of the last 25 years. But all 4 men have one common denominator, Nigeria has gone from bad to worse during their watch. Nigeria has generally gotten worse in the last 25 years since it returned to civilian rule in 1999.

For my fellow Igbos who would one day want to see one of us become President, this is not a bad thing, but bear in mind one thing

No Nigerian President can ever do well, none has ever done well, regardless of their ethnic group. Nigeria is structured to fail, no matter where the President comes from.

A Yoruba man bought Dollar at less than N100 under Obasanjo, the same Yoruba man is today buying Dollar under Tinubu at N1,500. Tell me what Yoruba Presidency did for that Yoruba man?

A Fulani man who bought a bag of Rice at N4,000 under Yaradua needed 10 times that amount to buy the same bag under another Fulani man called Buhari. Did Fulani Presidency do anything for him?

Lets be wise about Presidency, there are more important things than that
You're a conehead Yaribanza from the deeepest part of ogbomosho

Don't underestimate the stupidity of rich men with money if they see a beautiful woman they intend to have.

Disgraceful.

I'm Imo state son and schooled all my life in Owerri

Went to FUTO

I can categorically tell you only one part of Owerri looks like this

This place captured here is IMSU junction down to Douglas Road

They're about only 3 Flyovers in the whole of Owerri.

Only Owerri, Orlu and Okigwe are the only habitable places in Owerri

Heck! Kubwa Abuja is more developed than Owerri

The government have really dealt with us in Imo state

South South/ North central

Arguably the most divided sub region in Nigeria

Where brothers fight brothers

Local government fight local governments

No wonder no tribe there can be a major tribe

At least for the three major tribe their enemies are specific and well defined

You never hear a Yoruba fighting fellow Yoruba state or local government

Igbos fighting fellow Igbos state or local government

Hausa fighting felllow Hausas state or local governments

If Igbos are not fighting Yoruba then they're fighting Nigeria in general

If Yoruba are not fighting Hausa or Igbos they're fighting Nigeria in general

If Hausas are not fighting Yorubas they're fighting Igbos

But tribe in south south hates themselves

That is why you cannot point out a single achievement of goodluck Jonathan in south south

He became a president by luck

A very stupid useless region that's long due to be shared amongst the major tribe
