Hi family please I overstayed 8months in China 2023 after covid , my passport renewal took time which led to my overstay. In 2024 I got 5 days T visa on my new passport and I left China 3 days before d 5 days. Now I want to join hubby on ireland. Will they ask for old passport which has expired for over 3 years now? I think VFS sometimes refuses collecting all pages of the previous passport and takes only the biometric page.
Note that all pages of the previous and current passport is what is required. So I would advise you go with it.

To the best of my knowledge, I can confirm that the categories of join family visa processed in Dublin visa office are:

1. Irish spouse
2. European spouse

All others are processed in Abuja embassy.

Exactly how i know it to be.

Are you sure you are checking the right page as Join family is processed in Dublin and the weekly decision is published every Tuesday.
Also have you tried checking your application status on their website even though I am not sure if it’s updated regularly.

Thanks @Lami3 though that's new. I actually use to check that of Dublin but I doubt it would be there.
