Me: 2013, July precisely

Me: got a national diploma in science Laboratory Technology at yaba college of technology which I finished last December and I've been on industrial attachment.
Vo: how many schools did you choose?
Me: two schools... NE and FSU
Vo: how did you choose these schools ?
Me: (got off balance)... I applied online
Vo: we have a lot of schools in the us, how did you narrow down to these two schools ?
Me: I was antsy at this point and just said one gibberish....

I gained admission into a united state university and I'll be needing you to approve my visa to enable my going.

Me: I'm going to the United States to obtain my bachelors degree in Biotechnology at Northeastern university for a period of 52 months which starts ....
Vo: how many schools did you choose?
Me: two schools, NEU and FSU
Vo: how many admits ?
Me: both
Vo: why NE ?
Me: I chose NE because it's affordable for my parent.
Also because the university has a well structured curriculum in my field of study in that most of the courses I'll be taking ( I mentioned few) are research oriented. This will not only expose me to series of quality research but also make me proficient in the field
Furthermore, NE is highly reputable in my field of study and ranked 5th in Biotechnology

Me: Biotechnology has been my dream and passion right from when I was a kid because as a growing kid, I was opportune to travel to the southern part of Nig and I experienced the pitiable oil spillage condition of the region. This triggered my interested in Biotechnology. Studying Biotechnology will expose me to strong research and adequate knowledge required to proffer a solution to this uninteresting situation.
Vo: what's your highest level of education ?
Me: National diploma at Yaba college of technology

Vo: why did you choose NE over FSU?
Me: I chose NE over FSU because I'm interested in the ongoing research of professor William Hancock which is based on applying new analytical techniques to advance proteomics by developing an enzyme capable of degrading the chemical residue of petroleum production. I believe this research will greatly help me actualize my ultimate goal which is working together with research institutes to develop a solution to the oil spillage condition of the southern region of Nigeria.

Me: my father
Vo: what does he do?
Me: he's the Dean, College of Animal science at Xyz university, he also consults for the federal govt on animal production in southwest Nigeria, he's also into mechanized farming.
