Uyomiya:
Do you know the name of this fruit?

In Igbo it is called ugiri and the seed is what is used to make ogbono soup you enjoy.

You can eat the back just like apple the the seed is dried and blended for ogbono soup.

Is God not wonderful?
ogbono fruit is not edible but ujuru as idoma calls it is edible
Ogbono tree can grow up to 100 - 120 feet in height but ujuru the one with edible shell can grow up to 50 feet
Ogbono can produce fruit after 15 to 20yeaers of germination but ujuru can start producing fruits after just five years of germination.
Ogbono trees are seriously facing extinction but ujuru tree can be found in every compound in otukpa

PoliticsNigeria's Annual Inflation Rises To Highest Level Since 2005 by PDPPROMAX(op): 2:03pm On Aug 15, 2022
ABUJA, Aug 15 (Reuters) - Nigeria's annual inflation quickened in July to its highest level since 2005, official data showed on Monday, driven by price rises for food, fuel and clothing.

The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said inflation rose for the sixth straight month, hitting 19.64% from 18.60% year on year in June.

NBS data showed the July inflation reading was the highest since at least the start of 2009.

Refinitiv data showed it was the highest since the 24.32% recorded in September, 2005 (NGCPIY=ECI).

Inflation has been in double digits in Africa's biggest economy since 2016, fuelled partly by a weakening of its naira currency .

Food prices were up 22.02% year on year in July, caused by increases in prices of bread and cereals, potatoes, yam, meat, fish, oil and other items.

Core inflation, which excludes prices of farm produce, was up 16.26% from the same period last year, with gas, liquid and solid fuel, transportation by road and air, garments and hire of clothing among contributing factors.
Rising inflation and the state of the economy are major issues as the country heads for a national election in February, when voters will choose a new president as incumbent Muhammadu Buhari steps down.

The naira currency has been weakening on the parallel market due to a scarcity of foreign currency since July 2021, when the central bank stopped forex sales to retail currency traders to ease pressure on reserves and support the official market.

The move funnelled demand towards the unofficial market, where the currency is freely traded.

Policymakers argue persistent inflationary pressures are structural and largely related to imports.

Analysts at Capital Economics said in a research note that Nigeria's inflation was probably not far from its peak but would remain elevated.

They predicted another interest rate increase at the central bank's next policy meeting in September.

Obi is a serial liar. His campaign is based on lies, falsehood and propaganda. The way he goes about lying so effortlessly is really troubling. It’s a red flag that can’t be ignored.
a very big liar he is. Kogi state University is also not on strike.

Are you in meddle belt or you are just typing base on imaginations..

Tinubu can't win and will never win north Central..and what really spoiled it for him was the Muslim/Muslim ticket..
why won't he win north Central? I don't think the religious card labour party are holding close to their chest will have any meaninful effect in north Central because in state like benue with almost 99% Christians population will make sure they punish the governor by votin the reverend father who is the apc governorship candidate. Now you are left with only Plateau state, even with its large Christian population that's not enough to overwhelm the Muslims in Niger, kwara, kogi and Nasarawa state combined. I.e if religion becomes a factor to vote as most Christian fro south east want it to be.

To all the E-warriors and social media inec chairmen don't expect your candidate to win with an overwhelming margin or a landslide victory in 2023 presidential election. Its going be anarrow margin of victory for any of Tinubu, Atiku and Obi.
1) Tinubu or JAGABAN as he is popularly known to win Atiku and Obi in these regions.

North Central
South West.

2) Atiku Abubakar to win in the zones of the core north, which includes

North East
North West

3) Obi or OBIDIENT as he is popularly called by his supporters will win the remaining two regions which are;

South East
South South.

Note, what will make the deference or determine the winner of the presidential election in February 2023 will be the ability of each candidate to fish outside his favoured zone.
