Hello to all d gurus in da house.. I need a advise and assistance about my situation. Sometimes ago, I was granted my 5yrs UK visit. On gettin to heathrow I was stopped and delayed fr hrs Jst to run a check on all my previous uk visas. In nutshell, I was refused entry cuz there was inaccurate stamp date on my passport in 2011 and in my very first application in 2011, I said I have cousin and in my present application I said I don't have cousin..only friends. I have been in the UK several times after then and even early ds year. I tried to give reasons but all in vain. I refused to go back and was given appeal if I think it's a wrong decision but I couldn't do d appeal cuz d lawyer advised dt since it's not family visit, d chances of winning is very slim and will have to be in the UK whilst doing to appeal. I decided to reschedule my ticket and return on my ticket and my visa was cancelled. I was told that I can't apply until after one year and I should contact the British embassy in Nigeria if I want to make new application.

My questions are :
1) I have a valid US on my passport and have been to the US before, can I still travel there for business purpose with the UK visa cancelled without problem?

2) I know I can't apply for any UK visa until after one year according to the immigration officer in UK and was written in the refusal paper given to me. What letter do I have to put up for British embassy in Nigeria? Am I to confirm the penalty from them again and anytime I make new application, won't they refer me back to this refusal of a thing? I need your sincere advise and way to go about it.

Yes it's ok. Ur personal acct bal will depends on ur budget fr ur trip to UK. Total amount of money u intend to spend fr d trip. Is that clear ? The biz acct is ok.

What type of company ? Limited or venture ? That determines too. It's gud u hv ur personal saving acct wit ur company acct to apply. The company acct jst serve as title to u and ur personal saving acct will be d money to use fr vacation. If u want to use company acct it will be better to be on business issue visa and nt vacation. Others docs are property doc, marriage cert, flight itinerary , hotel reservation , evidence of trading activities of ur company.

adeolu45: I have a registered biz and a corporate ac for d biz. Dere is always flow of money in d biz ac by cheque and cash at times transactions shows over a million or less in a month. Please i want to apply for uk visa and i need all wat to do regarding d visa.

U ned to get company tax clearance wit d business acct alone with ur personal saving acct with relevant docs of ur purpose in the UK .

3sha4lyf: Congrats. Pls did u put in for 5yrs? Did u have to explain why you spent weeks in the uk on previous visits, etc. Share yr ordeal pls. Congrats once more.

Yes it's 5yrs. I did explained to the ECO reasons why I stayed long in UK with docs to back them up.

Vicjustice: Since you're the owner of the company which complies with tax regulation, you are not obliged to pay tax from any money that you pay yourself, you are a tax compliant businessman and you get your income from your taxed business, therefore, your business tax should cover you.

Vicjustice, I do appreciate you so much. thanks.... what about the salary issue.. is it a must to have salary to my personal account becos i don't and have all my docs ready for submission... I have a personal savings accounts though but not like a monthly regular pay in a salary account..

3sha4lyf: To an extent, yes, ur personal account has to show some personal income, which for some, is uncapped and varies. Personal tax clearance and/or company tax clearance, that may help but isn't a "passport to visa" in it self.

I have a company tax clearance already. there is no monthly pay from my money to my account...PLS, the issue of the name that appears on the article of memorandum as director. does he need to put up a letter too. He's my junior brother and his name appear in d article of memorandum and 25% share is given to him . I am the sole signatory to the company account. PLS put me thru Thanks .. I can also list all the docs i have at hand.

3sha4lyf: That's alright... Very well thought, especially if you have had, and still having business activities.


Depends on your reason for doing that and how you do it. Don't go opening scars like wounds instead of just exfoliating it. Tell you what yeah, on the form, where you have to enter dates and purpose of previous visits overseas, why not indicate "tourism and shopping" as your "purpose" and then only if you must, in additional section, write that you've included BOL from business done during your last visit, if that makes sense.


Depends on what letter you're talking bout.


Guess I've answered the Q above and given you an idea of how to make it less an issue, in case it becomes an issue.


Just curious, pls where did you read that from? Didn't know you "need to explain why you need LTV." Seems like job application prototype to me.
In any case, I'm sure you need to put your supporting docs and purpose for travel right so they can assess your need for frequent travel. Most applicants get theirs so it shouldn't be a problem if you apply right.

3sha4lyf: Read carefully thru the thread for an idea of necessary documents which can be tailored to suit your situation.

I would say yes, include both personal and company account and my reason is that if you need to show some trading activities in your company, your company account can show that. And if you need to show how you can take care of your proposed trip plus something to fall back to when you return from the trip, your personal account can show that. But be sure to indicate that the company account is provided to show trading activities OR ELSE, it may be used (in error) to assess your application, and depending on the purpose of your trip, if for tourism for example, you may have to explain to the ECO why you're using company funds for your. Trip

Is it advisable i add the receipts and bill of lading of the things have bought in my previous travel ? Can u kindly help me out abt the letter to the ECO ? if i needed any .... also abt my long stay of 3mnths 2wks does it means anything ? I read that there is a need to explain why someone need long term visa like 5yrs , am willing to apply for . pls pls pls i need ur help

Hello guys, i need your advise. I have been to the UK several times (6 times) and i have been issued 6mnths and 2yrs visa but now expired. I want to renew now and just want to get things rightly. When i applied before i was working in the bank but i have resigned and start my own business which is registered LTD and have recent tax clearance. In one of my visit to the UK i stayed 3mnths and 2wks for the purpose of trying to buy vehicle and used things for export. I have documents bill of ladings for all the vehicles i purchased in the UK and other receipt for the used items and engines i bought. Now, am willing to apply now so as to go for holiday. Can i add my company's acct and personal acct , other properties documents. my personal is like 800k. what other things do i need ? I need help.
