Concerning this transit VISA issue, My flight is from Lagos to (Scotland)Glasgow with a stopover of 3 hours in Dubai, will I need a transit VISA? How do I know if I need one? Or is it a must I pass through Heathrow?

You shall receive yours too. The case is so similar. Don'tknowwhy they like to give e someone high bp. That's why I shared my visa alert story so as to give hope to people in my shoes. Try to notify the school too that you are still expecting your visa

I have similar case as yours. Biometric Dec 9th, several paid call and mails. Extra documents supporting what I've been doing since 2016 was asked on Jan 17th and I uploaded it same day. Just that I haven't received my visa till now. I hope I receive mine. Latest date on enrollment is Jan 27th. I also have one US refusal in 2019

RESUMPTION WAS YESTERDAY JAN 20. I was sad throughout yesterday, had to go clear my head somewhere

Latest day of resumption on my CAS is 27th January, next week Monday, if not omooo.

This journey ehn, but I am grateful for all the inputs from here.

My agents did all the processing so I can't really list all what they uploaded.

They didn't upload my work experience, employment letters and references at first, they said they'll still send nsf to demand for more. So when they asked for additional documents last week, we just sent them

My two employment letters
Reference letters from the 2 employers
My BSC. Certificate and transcript.

I pray all those waiting shall be favored

Oh, I forgot, I have one VISA refusal in July 2024, Schenghen tourist Visa. Reason been that, there is reasonable doubt I will return after expiration of my VISA. Guess I didn't submit enough ties

They requested for additional documents of what I have been doing for over 10 years just this week after several paid calls. Don't know how long it usually takes to review that again. Had 1 previous tourist visa refusal too from shenghen. Maybe that is why they are doing all these. Wen is your own resumption?

Yes, urgently reach out to them NOW.
Most schools have a regular deadline, and a late start deadline, which is only granted on request, based on exceptional circumstances (such as visa delays).

Not reaching out to them in a timely fashion can result in your CAS being withdrawn which will cause UKVI to refuse your visa.
Buy yourself the time NOW!!!

Till date, nothing from them. Though I submitted what they requested for just few days ago but don't know how long that is going to take them again. These people no dey even reason Resumption dates. Na wa o. I will try to reach out to school this week if they can give me additional time to resume as my visa is still being processed. I don tire

After receiving a " your application is being worked on and a decision will be made as soon as possible" after escalation, I was hit with this email this afternoon.
At this point, I am confused as to what to do seeing as my last day for registration is 14th of January.
Also it doesn't say anything about my application not being NSF, but is this still a NSF mail? Just so confused.
Please any advice?

Please house, I maid a paid call to ukvi but the attached generic mail sent to me is from Sheffield student team escalation. Please how come? I didn't apply to sheffield at all. Or what could be wrong?

I was also told mine is awaiting decision during the call only to get the particular mail after 24 hours

I have not escalated o. My agents advised me not to. Globus removd my POF unexpectedly so they credited it back last week. My agents said I should wait for another 28 days before escalating

I should have paid for priority in the first place. Now I have to renew POf which is more expensive than priority visa. God abeg help we nsf candidates 😪😪

Worst part is, vfs site is so useless that one can't track the progress. Everything about vfs is annoying. They used Gig to deliver my passport when I applied for Schengen VISA and I had to be called to come to their office after several days, they didn't do home delivery

I also have previous Schengen refusal and 10 years study gap. Maybe that is why. But empty nsf and prolonged silence is so unfair. Just state what you need and let's send. We will send documents again and start waiting. I don tire

Holiday is on Wednesday and Thursday. They will work till like 2pm on Tuesday. So I will try to call early on Tuesday. I was charged about 10k airtime and over 3 pounds on my card

Paid with someone's uk card,was debited about £3.5. I also recharged about 12,000 naira airtime and I was left with about 1k. The call is fvkn expensive.

I paid with my dollar card... cuz they will ask for your card information. i recharged 5,000 and before I could conclud with the call it dropped. I recharged another N8,000 and completed the conversion.

Date and location of biometrics .
If you received an nsf..if yes? when?

My advice as someone who did paid call today,14 working days of bio.

1. If you didn't get any nsf mail, Wait til after 15 working days of your bio before doing paid call/mail
2. If you got nsf mail, wait till 15 working days after nsf before making paid calls/mail.

I just wasted money because they said they can't escalate yet so I should call back when it's after 15 working days if I did not get any mail from them.

So I gats wait till Tuesday, 24th again. I just tire. My resumption is Jan 20
