Godliness is a constant desperation to please God, God knows we are not perfect that's why He gave us the Holy Spirit to guide us.
The bible says resist the devil and he shall flee the more you resist the more he gets tired of disturbing you. If you are truly a born again christain and you want to grow in Christ, temptations will come to you from all corners, so you should always say say this when they come " I PREFER TO SUFFER WITH CHRIST TO DO RIGHT THAN REMAIN IN BONDAGE TO SIN"
