Romance › 10 Things Men Cant Do Without by peeparty(op): 6:54pm On Jun 15, 2015
straight up no time to look wristwatch.

1.MONEY:this is very vital to all men, money is a perculiar thing that life seems to be centerd around.men need money to buy things, pay bills, both neccessities and desirable.

2.SEX:without regualar sex, some men have physical pain that is tough to handle.dont be decieved it quiet not easy for men to control their urge for sex, that why you see some men mastubate in other to relieve the pressure brought on the lack of sex.
study after study shows that men sex drive are not only stronger than women's,but much more straight forward.majority of adult men under 60yrs think about sex atleast once a day before the day is over.

3.FRIENDS:In nigeria we got different slangs for the word friend e.g homeboy, goons.ibak ete, padi padi mi,my niccur etc.guys can do without a true friend in which they can gist, gossip, runs map, play games together.
True friends are always together in spirit.#one love to my one and only homie frank ishadu.

4.SMOKING:some men cant just do without this.i once had a pastor friend now a bishop who had a struggle with this.this man cant go a day without finishing like 8packs of cigarettes.at a time i asked him why he likes smoking very early in the morning instead of praying.i was astonished at his response"he said that it is his own way of telling God good morning"As soon as the smoke reaches the sky God smiles at him(lol)eyen mi amanam oo.But thank God for his soul.

5.GAMES:Guys i can stay a whole day playing ps4,watching matches, playing snooker, table tenis, lawn tenis.am sure we got some die hard chelsea fans in here.sometimes i miss church activities just to watch matches, thesonofmark, ipledge my partners in crime can testify to this.

6.ALCHOHOL:this one is a serious matter oo some men are really so addicted to this,to the extent that they can download like 5 green and white bottle before the day is over.
I have an uncle who drinks sapele water or ogogoro like water(drygin). Some years ago he knouck down 4 people at a spot#may their soul rest in peace amen.that man still drinks till date, infact he as been given a chieftaincy title as the 001 of the kai kia ministry.lord help him.

7.PACKAGING:some boys cant just do without dressing neat#darkrebel, ipledge, peeparty, kulboy, jacksparrow, iamkingzlee.chai this guys always looking dope.some guys just dress to impress the ladies or maybe it something that is part of them.whatever reason guys have for killing it anytime anyday is best none to them.
back then in school i use to have a friend who can starch anything starchable, till we gave him a nickname"PACKARD".(Lol)am sure you can rememeber someone like that as your reading.

8:FOOD:Some men can't just do without food especially some nairaland boys like cowleg.no wonder ladies believe that food is an easy access to a mans heart.some guys are gluttonous in nature they eat whatever the see.i have a friend who eat like a child you will always catch him soaked with palm oil and rubbing the particles all over his beards.this sight is so disgusting to us as his friends, what can one do boys will always be boys.

9.GOD:I still believe they are some awesome men who can't do without God.he is all sovereign, all knowing, jehovah overdo, words and ink can't express who he is.this hard to come last because of who he is.

10:add yours

Politics › Full Text Of President Buhari Speech At AU Summi't Opening Session by peeparty(op): 11:35am On Jun 15, 2015
JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA
14TH JUNE 2015

Excellency President Robert Mugabe, Chairman of the Union,

Excellency President Jacob Zuma, our Host,

Excellencies fellow Presidents and Heads of Government

Excellency Mr. Jan Eliasson, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations,

Excellency Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, Chairperson of the AU Commission,

Excellencies, Heads of Delegation,

Invited Guests, Distinguished Ladies and Gentlemen

1. Please permit me to join previous speakers in conveying my delegation’s appreciation to our host, H.E. President Jacob Zuma, to his Government, and the brotherly people of South Africa for their warm hospitality, and for the excellent arrangements made for our comfort and for the success of our meetings. As this is my first address at this august assembly, may I also congratulate H.E. Dr. Robert Gabriel Mugabe, President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, for his unanimous election as the Chairman of our Union.

2. I feel highly honoured and extremely pleased to be able to address you today, barely two weeks after my inauguration as the President of Nigeria, following the 2015 Presidential election in my country. That process, which was adjudged as the fairest and most credible in the history of elections in Nigeria, was midwifed by the dogged and sustained determination of the Nigerian people, and their desire to deepen our democracy. Their quest was amply supported, and even encouraged by the goodwill of our friends and partners in the international community. I therefore wish to seize this opportunity to convey my very deep appreciation to all those who contributed to the success of that election.

3. My election has been described as historic. I agree that it is indeed historic because for the first time in the practice of democracy in my country, an opposition Party has defeated the ruling Party in a keenly contested election. The election was also held against the backdrop of the fears and concerns expressed both in Nigeria and among our international friends abroad and partners that the outcome of the election could spell doom for Nigeria. I am glad that even though those fears and concerns were not without basis, the outcome was totally different, to the relief of all of us.

4. I cannot fail to acknowledge the very positive role played by my predecessor, H.E. President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, in averting the feared crisis, and in facilitating the peaceful transition of power between the two parties. I also wish to express my deep appreciation to all who honoured us with their presence at my inauguration, and even those, who for unavoidable reasons were unable to attend. I thank you all.

Mr. Chairman,

5. It is gratifying to note that our Union has made laudable progress over the past one and a half decades since its transformation from the Organization of African Unity (OAU) to the African Union (AU). Notably, we have been able to redirect our priorities at the continental level from mainly political goals to more diverse aspirations that are equally fundamental to our survival and development in a global community.

6. It is however clear, Mr. Chairman, that some of the greater challenges to our peoples within this Union still lie in the political, economic, as well as peace and security spheres. Our continent is currently bedevilled by the twin evils of terrorism and insecurity; poverty, youth unemployment, and underdevelopment. The destructive effects of the inhuman and criminal campaigns of the Boko Haram insurgency in Nigeria and neighbouring countries; the Al-Shabab attacks in East Africa, and the activities of the Al-Qaida in the Maghreb, all bear testimony to a continent under siege.

Mr Chairman,

Excellencies and Colleagues

7. On our part, I was convinced on my assumption of office that the best approach would be to work within the framework of the Lake Chad Basin Commission (LCBC) to mobilse collective support to fight against Boko Haram. I have in this regard, directed the relocation of Nigeria’s Command Centre to place it closer to the theatre of action. Furthermore, I have vigorously engaged the members states of the LCBC to better coordinate the strategies and tactics in fighting the insurgency in the region. I believe that this approach can be enhanced through complimentary regional and continental efforts.

8. The images in the international mass media of African youths getting drowned in the Mediterranean sea on their illegal attempts, and often times illusory hope of attaining better life in Europe is not only an embarrassment to us as leaders, but dehumanises our persons. Indeed, they combine to paint a very unfavourable picture of our peoples and countries.

9. Those of us gathered here today owe it as a duty to reverse this ugly trend. We must put an end to the so-called . factors that compel our young men and women to throw caution to the winds and risk life, limbs and all, on this dangerous adventure. We must redouble our efforts to sustain the economic development of our countries, ensure empowerment of our youths, create more jobs, improve and upgrade our infrastructure, and above all continue the enthronement of a regime of democracy, good governance and respect for human rights and rule of law. These and other measures that engender peace and stability must be pursued relentlessly.

10. In this connection, we must persist in our collective endeavour to work together through the African Union and our respective Regional Economic Communities (RECs), to uplift our continent and provide the African peoples the enabling environment for the realization of their legitimate dreams and aspirations. At this juncture, let me assure you of the unflinching commitment of Nigeria to the ideals and aspirations of the African Union as explained in the Agenda 2063, which is geared towards ensuring a peaceful, prosperous and integrated Africa in the next 50 years. It is for this reason that Nigeria is fully and irrevocably committed to the ECOWAS vision.

11. We do so because we believe that African integration is best attained through the instrumentality of our Regional Economic Communities (RECs) as the building blocs of viable continental institutions. Nigeria will therefore continue to play her part in supporting the African Union Commission and other continental and regional institutions in their efforts to prioritize African development in all sectors of human endeavour.

12. The journey might look arduous, but certainly not impossible. There are opportunities in every challenge. If and when we adopt this call for a change of attitude, approach, and disposition towards agreed protocols and commitments, we shall be bequeathing a politically stable, economically developed, and socially harmonious Africa, thereby justifying the confidence reposed in us by our electorates. We will also demonstrate our qualities as statesmen and true daughters and sons of Africa.

13. I thank you for your kind attention.

Health › 13 Items Individual Should Not Share. by peeparty(op): 11:16am On Jun 15, 2015
See the list below
1. Earphones

Physically sharing earphones which have been inserted inside the ear that is filled with germs and ear wax is not a good idea. Sharing these earphones without cleaning them can increase your risk of ear infections. Plus, it’s not just earwax that’s made a home in your ears. Imagine what kind of germs are swimming around inside your ear canals.

2. Earrings

In the case of earrings, when someone puts an earring through their ear, they could poke the skin and get a small amount of blood on the tip of the earring. Now, if you borrow that same pair of earrings, you are putting that bloodied tip through your ear and increasing the risk of possibly getting some type of infection.

3. Antiperspirants

Roll-ons do not have germ-killing properties as they only help decrease the amount of perspiration you produce. When you share this roll-on, you can easily transfer germs or yeast or fungi due to its contact with other people’s sweat. Sprays are the safest way to share antiperspirants if you must.

4. Toothbrushes

To some this might seem gross, but many couples, both married and dating have admitted to sharing their partner’s toothbrush. However, sharing a toothbrush can cause a number of issues, and it’s actually quite unhygienic and could result in an increase of infections.

5. Towels

Towel sharing of any kind is a big no-no, even if the towel was just used after stepping out of the shower. Bacteria such as staph infection bacteria can live on the towel for a few hours, days, or even months. This is probably longer for a towel, since it has the ability to retain moisture and other bacteria, too. Change your towels at least once a week, hang them to dry in an open space, and never share them with anyone – not even family members.

6. Razors

Every time a razor is used, small nicks are made into the skin that is not visible to the eye. These may or may not produce blood but it is wise to always practise safety and hygiene. Apart from that, other viruses and bacteria thrive on the razor and can spread, if you share your razor.

7. Make up

We know that it’s sometimes tempting just to take a swipe of a friend’s lipstick or mascara if you don’t happen to have your own on hand. But think of the potential larger consequences on your skin, even though most cosmetics nowadays are made with preservatives to kill bacteria and reduce the chance of infection, it’s still a better bet to keep to your own cosmetics. It’s also advisable not to get make-up second-hand.

8. Nail clippers/files

If you have any type of opening in your skin, either from a pushed cuticle or a cut, you are at risk of getting some type of bacteria, fungus or virus into it. Nail salons should always properly sanitizer their tools to prevent the spread of bacteria and germs that can lead to infections.

9. Hats, helmets, hairbrushes/combs

Sharing head gears and combs can spread a number of diseases such as head lice, scabies, and sometimes even a staph infection. Even people in families should not share hairbrushes. However, sharing hair brushes is hard not to do, especially when you visit the salon or barber, but make sure they use some sort of sanitizer before running anything though your hair. You should also clean your personal brushes, fill a bowl with anti-bacterial soap and water, and soak your brushes for about an hour or so. Rinse thoroughly and repeat this process every two weeks.

10. Soap bars

This is a very common habit. It’s a soap bar; it’s self cleaning, but in actual fact the bar can still hold germs. Soap is almost always wet when used – especially on the bottom—and that can be a breeding ground for fungi, bacteria and yeast.

11. Socks

Many people suffer from fungal infections on the feet that cause peeling and lead to whitish skin on the feet. This infection is very contagious and can easily spread from one person to another. Sharing socks, shoes or even a bath mat can spread this infection

12. Drinking cups and mugs/drinks

You may be tempted to taste your best friend’s favourite coffee, but you may want to have her pour some in a separate cup before she takes her first sip. Why? The saliva in your mouth may have germs in it that you do not even know about, like strep throat, mumps, mono, a cold and herpes. Even if your BFF/ Boo is not sick, she still may be carrying a virus that you can easily catch just by sharing a drink. Sip from your own cup or find a better way to share a drink.

13. Underpants/underwear

It goes without saying, this is a no no. Under no circumstances should you share clothing so personal.

Yea I agree wiith you,his choice of songs was really not too good to project his vocals, wondering why hiss mentors did not help him to find songs dah would show his dexterity
Sanchez01:
Voice wise, Nex2 is better than him but unfortunately for him, he chose wrong songs all through. If I was a judge and had the supreme power to evict and keep anyone, Nex2 would have been long gone. Each time he's introduced to sing, I get tired from within because the songs he does are those 'pangolo' songs that do not support using strong vocals.
