Bro , bricklayer a day workmanship with 150 blocks settings par day is 15k labour 7k, though I don't know your area quote author=Adesarahshina post=139371574]
Yes i understand, but dealing with this my bricklayer, i just have to have an idea.. The guy knows how to take advantage of one's ignorance.
He told me he charges 200k just to lay 1 block. Says bricklayer 12k, labour 8k. He didn't know i know they charge 10k for bricklayer, 5k for labour. Which is 150k contrary to the initial 200k he mentioned.
Why charging separately instead to negotiate from foundation to roofing level , well it depends on location like here in ogijo shagamu ogun state, 2 bedroom from foundation to roofing level charges range from 300k to 350k note this charges is for bricklayer with labour alone , the lintel depends on the standard of the building, 2bd standard with surrounding pillars with round bim budget like 100k to 120k the 1 without pillars and round bim like 80k for carpentry work, is the carpenter that will come with his planks.
Adesarahshina: Hello all, please I'd like to be enlightened on the current charges of bricklayers for casting lintel.
The said building is 2 bedroom. I'm trying to have an idea of the current cost to guide me in negotiating with my bricklayer.
Even people earning less than 150 self dey build house , it depends on the location and house type by molding your blocks little by little Getting your materials 1 by 1 You get your house pattern and start with a room first before you know it another block join , though it may take longer time but trust God you will finally get there .
Englishisamust: How bro, that is impossible bro. Do you know how much they are selling building materials now?? Hope you know one bag of cement is now 12k or are you playing

Even Nigeria port sir, ptml tarminal owner Obasanjo Five star tarminal owner ty danjuma AP mola owner earnest shonekan Port and cargo owner taiwo afolabi Brower tarminal owner patient Jonathan
How does Atiku defend this now! Dude privatized Nigeria by selling national assets to cronies, and the most annoying part is that, he still has the effrontery and audacity to tell Nigerians he is worthy to the president!
8 years as vice, he couldn’t make a name for himself and now forcibly campaigning about what’s not.
Why I will always respect China. No way Atiku would have done that in China and won’t have met God.

Before the upgrade, many of the buildings were in poor condition. Today, the entire complex has been rebuilt and expanded, marking its most significant transformation since it was established over 40 years ago.
New classroom blocks have been added to reduce overcrowding. The facilities now include a football pitch, sports courts, a health centre, a fire station, and essential services like solar power and improved water systems.
There is also a clear focus on inclusion. Dedicated buildings for students with disabilities have been introduced, along with lifts to make movement easier within the complex. A vocational centre is now in place, offering training in practical skills such as tailoring, plumbing, and masonry.
With an ICT hub and a central laboratory, students are better positioned to engage with science and technology in a more hands-on way.

VOsimhen144: Nigerians should learn to respect other country’s decisions. If South Africa 🇿🇦 doesn’t want a king in Nigeria’s community over there then obey their instructions.
Una no find “leader or chairman” as title, you people went as far as “king”. That’s was too deep.
One secret you should know is that South Africans see Nigerians as a very big threat, so please let be guided.
Imagine jubilation on just 2 fighter jet partially taking down while almost the arsenal and military base of Iran empty , may God safe and protect all the citizens of those affected countries and restore peace
FreeStuffsNG: Meanwhile, the Israeli military acknowledged that one of their fighter jets was targeted by a surface-to-air missile fired from Iranian defense systems. They keep decieving their own people with censorship. The Isreali media must obtain clearance from their military censors before they can categorically admit it.
Since Tehran switched on its air defences 2 days ago, it has brought down US J-35 and now this J-16. Both are the so-called stealth fighter jets o.
This war has exposed that US military seem to be a giant with a feet of clay.

Funny After counting lagos they still count shomolu and ikorodu separately
lawani: Igbos have returned home to build their land as Enugu, Owerri, Onitsha and Aba are now more populated than any city in Yoruba land apart from Lagos, Ibadan, Ilorin and Akure. According to the number of hotels and bank branches as available online. Is that an achievement adagba je raufu , at 41 you live under your parents and your brother that decided and leave returned home after a year and still don't understand your village people body language until they voice out .
I’m 41 and still living with my parents” — man mocks younger brother who moved out but returned home.
A man has stirred reactions online after sharing a humorous story about his younger brother who moved out to live independently but later returned home due to the harsh realities of life.
In a video circulating on social media, the 41-year-old man revealed that he still lives with his parents and sees nothing wrong with the arrangement.
“I’m 41 years old and I still live with my parents. My younger brother is 25 years old, he packed out of the house last year, he said he wants to live alone, today he has packed his load back. He said life no easy o, he has packed come back.”
Younger brother returns home The man explained that the younger brother had insisted on independence despite advice from family members. However, the situation changed after experiencing the financial and emotional pressures of living alone.
He said the brother recently returned to the family house with his belongings, admitting that living independently was more difficult than he expected.
“Life no easy,” the younger brother reportedly confessed while moving his things back into the house.
Man defends decision to stay with parents Reacting to the situation, the older brother joked that his decision to remain in the family home for years might have been wiser than people assumed.
He added that many young people today rush into independence without fully understanding the financial responsibilities that come with it.
Social media users react The story has generated mixed reactions online, with some people laughing at the situation while others said the younger brother’s experience reflects the rising cost of living and economic pressures faced by many young adults.
Some commenters also pointed out that moving back home is becoming increasingly common among young people trying to stabilise financially.
