Chevening scholarships are the United Kingdom (UK) government’s scholarship programme; Applications for 2019-2020 Chevening Scholarships are now open and is usually awarded to scholars wishing to undertake postgraduate courses at UK universities.
Chevening Scholarships at Imperial College are awarded to scholars with a high level of academic excellence and outstanding leadership potential, from across the globe.

The scholarship may be a full or partial scholarship and awarded to scholars for any master’s programme.

Eligibility
To be considered for The Chevening scholarships you must:

Be able to demonstrate that you have achieved a minimum English language requirement. All Imperial College students must have a good command of the English language. Please see the Imperial College London English language requirement webpage for full details of entry requirements.

Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country at the time of applying for the award, and intend to return there at the end of the period of study (please see the Chevening Scholarships: frequently asked questions page‌)

Hold a degree that is equivalent to at least a good UK second-class honours degree. Further information on UK degree equivalency can be found from UK NARIC

Have completed at least two years' work experience

Plan to travel back to your home country after you have completed your studies

5 Techniques for Lecturing that makes Students Learn Fast.
Must confess its a great affairs to lecture students and give them not just your best but what will keep them lively and remain in their memory.

As a lecturer you will know lots of lecturing techniques that you really have employed in teaching the students and some techniques other colleagues use to lecture.

As a student you might have observed the lecturing techniques used by some lecturer to lecture you or their students.

Here you will come to know lecturing techniques that best work to keep your class fixed,gives you and advantage over fellow lecturer, make student learn along quickly as you lecture them
#1.The Introduction
Always introduce your students to the next topic to be treated in the next class and if its going to be a continuation tell them and probably give an assignment.
#2.The Recall
Keep your students memory together by also talking about previous related work or heading treated.
Also when in lecture and about to start do a wired brain network.these means ask them questions on last treated topics briefly before starting the next topics or continue from the last class.

#3. Quiz
So many lecturer don't give a class quiz, to test if the students are really following what was earlier discussed.
This will help you do a less job,if you want to use quiz as a grade to add to exams
Help the student to know the area(s) that is not understood.

#4.Questions
A lecturer that does not ask students question(s) and recieve answers is not helping learning and fast understanding
So ask question to different students in cause of lecturing and see the respond given,this at times slows the spoed of lecturing students as more read are to be covered.
Remember to take the student of the seat by talking on something different or closely related,naybe a story for some second or a munutes this gives lots of students relieve.

#5.Don't Stay
Some just don't know that they do stand at just a particularly position or location while lecturing, others prefer to do that because don't want to be stress.
This cause lots of harm in your lectures and affect the learning of students because some will be in class but doing something different on their sit.
While a group could be talking any having a group discussion while class is on and this can be threatened/hault if the lecturer moves around once a while to keep the class at equilibrium and uniformly together especially lecturing a large class.
