I work as a salaried individual and earn around 400k monthly.

However, my girlfriend constantly asks for money. I give her almost 100k every month and she feels it's not enough for her. She's even voiced discontent, suggesting I only send her money when she explicitly requests it.

I'm beginning to suspect her motives, as she seems solely focused on my income.


What job dyou do that pays 400k?

She never suggests saving or helps in cutting costs; her primary interest lies in spending everything.
Despite my genuine love for her, I can't keep up with her demands. I had hopes for our future together, but it seems unlikely now.

I'm considering a breakup as a solution.

Has anyone navigated a similar situation?

He said 40times, US is bigger in everything but not bigger in some indices by 40times that's why I wanted him to clarify but you still went further in that line.

Example is the economy you stated, US economy is not 40times bigger than the UK if it is the US GDP will be worth approximately 140 billion dollars but it's actually between 25 to 30 billion dollars.

Same as other indices you stipulate, don't just rush to comment, always read to enrich previous comments.

No text book economy policies can work in Nigeria.

Nigeria problem defy all form of economic principles.

When tinubu remove subsidy i was one of those who said the economy will be destroyed within a short time and it came faster than i even thought. Subsidy is not Nigerians problem but too much corruption and insincerity by corrupt government

For those working and earning 2M and above, it no longer makes sense.

Some people who were earning large in Naija 10-12 yrs ago, like the oil boys have seen their Naira earnings increase but the real value decreased geometrically.

Imagine if you were earning 1.65M per annum in 2011, that was $10,000, but today even if you got promoted 3 times and are now earning say 4M/year, that is now $ 3,333. You have essentially lost 70% of your earnings. Same is happening to pensions. By the time you retire, your pension contributions would be worthless.

Ok, if you were earning 700,000 a month in May 28th that was $1,000, but in 4 months that is $583.
