Rooting with one click app doesn't work on Android 7 (I guess) upwards
So you will need PC to root ur android, by unlocking your bootloader (which will erase everything on ur phone) and installing TWRP flashing magisk to ur phone, that's all

Will elaborate if u are willing to continue with it....

Pls do elaborate

It does. But no compatible GCam for RN8 last time I checked.

Just say Chinese version. The only thing the Global ROM changes is just multiple languages, more themes, pre-installed Google apps. It doesn't alter the hardware.
but there is no much difference in d hardware except for more lte bands on the global version.

You say Most people and MTN still have the largest data subscribers?

The word some should be more appropriate.

No one is holding you from buying the CN Version as long as you know the pros and cons. It is your money afterall
they have the largest data subscriber doesnt mean they are all browsing on 4g netwk. which phone doesnt have pros and cons. even the global variant does. just saying sha.

Airtel and 9mobile uses the same band 3 and most, if not all phones support it.

When we talk MTN and Glo this is why.
For MTN
Before Chinese Version of Xiaomi phones do come with band 7 which is one of MTN 4G bands but don't come with band 20 but the Global Version comes with both
Now of recent Xiaomi are removing the band 7 from the Chinese versions.

For GLO: before Chinese versions don't come with Glo's band 28 even the Global Versions only few devices did. The only respite was Glo recent addition of band 3 even at that it is limited to some locations and slower than band 28.

But since their entry into Nigeria, band 28 comes with most of their Global Versions of new phones eg Mi 9T, Mi 9t pro, Mi A3, RN 8 & RN 8 Pro.

So right now global version is best

But not every one uses glo network or mtn. most pple prefer Airtel netwk. so why waste more money just to get additional bands wey u no dey use. like me i use airtel for my browing and calls. so even if i want to get the note8, will go for the china variant and port the global rom myself because it is cheap.

Global version or global rom?

Research proves that, CN version+global rom is more durable than global version

meaning u can port global rom into china version of note 8 ryt.
will that add more lte bands to it.

RN8 don't have Global Version yet only the RN8 Pro for now.

And as for the RN8 Pro if it is offered in Nigeria it will be cheaper than AE

noobody has the one of global version

Phones / Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Peppul: 1:49pm On Sep 29, 2019
is it advisable to go for the china rom of note8 since its cheaper than the global version

RN8 should be better. If you could afford the 6/128Gb version of RN8 better. I just hope they make all variants Global

is it not advisable to buy a the one with china rom, because am planning to get one and i found out from one of the seller that the china varient is cheaper with 24k difference from the global rom
