For more 20 days I have been using my first ever Xiaomi, I am more than satisfied with the overall performance.... The software is well tweaked and nicely implemented - the best from China so far. Yet to notice any other bug other than the WhatsApp double notifications after the Miui 9 upgrade.

Let's salute Xiaomi cheesy

Lol... Miui is bae!!
I was sweating profusely this afternoon when I couldn't remember the four digits pin code of my phone.... It was a terrible experience folks, I changed the password this morning after suspecting my geeky friend of meddlings.

Although, fingerprint scanner was there for me, but I didn't just wanna accept the fact that I won't be able to use my phone on the next power ON. I changed my mind as I was on the verge of factory resetting, I clicked straight to "Lock & screen password", clicked on "forgot password" I was prompted to enter my Miui password and boom! $hit was removed tongue

Lesson: Never forget your Miui password, else you'll loose everything in your phone.

good morning house. I noticed that since I upgraded to MIUI 9.0.3.0 stable, my battery suddenly became awful.

I charged to 100%, switched on plane mode before going to bed. when I woke up this morning, my battery was down to 68%.

I think battery temperature also increase to 36°c on average usage. once in a while I get a CPU notification msg which says CPU usage is very high.

please has anyone experienced something like this? I would appreciate solutions/suggestions on how to fix this.

Did you factory reset after the upgrade?

At the notification bar of my Miui 9 updated note 4, WhatsApp notifications usually appear double... Is there a fix for this?

I was hoping RN4x would live up to the hype and it did that and more, still waiting while it charges to explore more. Quick question tho, do i need to update to miu9 or not?

Give it like a week or more, with this you'd get acquainted with your phone and can precisely know when it misbehaves on the new update.
