One thing have come to understand about the present Nigeria political landscape, PDP is filled with greed political gluttons whose greed has been exploited by the greatest scamming party that ruled Nigeria.

BusinessRe: How Nigerian Banks Are Capturing Telcos’ ₦400 Billion Airtime Lending Market by persius555(m): 8:20am On May 08
Traditional Banking institution stepping into uncharted, unfamiliar territory of operation is an indication that they're not doing well at all.

So, it was them all along. Conniving with the government agency to hijack a thriving business operation. The banks know next to nothing about how these telecommunication services work. They should stick to their core.

The last time MTN indictated interest to go into full mobile money banking services, it was these same banks that petitioned the CBN to oppose this move. NCC should wake up and do the needful. The banks are overstepping their boundaries.

FULHAM COACH WILL DO WELL TO CHANGE EVERY PLAYER ON THAT FIELD AND BRING IN THE ACADEMY BOYS TO PLAY THIS MATCH.

IT IS NOT ABOUT THE SCORE LINE, BUT ABOUT LACK OF INTEREST TO PLAY. THE PLAYERS OWE THE FANS AN APOLOGY.

NO NEED FOR SECOND HALF, GOALS GO PLENTY, INFACT ARSENAL IS CAPABLE OF SCORING 8 -10 GOALS IN THIS MATCH ALONE. BUT THE PROBLEM FOR ARSENAL IS AWAY TO WEST HAM WHO ARE FIGHTING RELEGATION. NO SENTIMENT WILL BE ATTACHED BY ANY FORMER ARSENAL PLAYER PLAYING FOR WEST HAM, IT IS ALL ABOUT SURVIVAL.

I want to let you know that China is not the only country with those minerals, that's the point.
I wish I can get that video link, I would have posted it for you to watch and understand my point better.
Oga, rest. China controls most of industrial minerls in the world. The US admitted this recently when the report came out that it was going to be difficult to quickly replace a very critical component used in its ADS because the essential minerals used in the production was heavily controlled by the Chinese.

Same thing I have been saying that Nigeria should have pulled out a long time ago..., why would an organisation be dictating how to sell your product?
Are you aware that the world's industries want cheaper energy cost. As a country that produces nothing and practically depends on oil revenue, where do you think the breakup of OPEC will leave you.

Be careful what you ask for. Reality will dawn on you when America, India and China will connive to force oil price down to $10 per barrel. Let's see where that'll leave you.

Remember crude oil is a non renewable energy source that'll eventually be depleted in a very short time.

PoliticsRe: Lagos 2027: Are Hamzat And Ambode The Only Ones Suitable To Be Governor? by persius555(m): 6:48am On Apr 22
No
Willy2025:
Obafemi Hamzat is a perfect candidate over and above Ambode. He is quiet, patient and loyal party men. He had twice given up his chances to become the governor for the same Ambode and Sanwoolu. This is his time. The problem is that quiet personality like him often get intoxicated by power when he gets to the office like Fubara. Time will tell. With Hamzat as the APC candidate, other parties do not stand a chance.
You're right. There's this wonderful feeling about Hazmat. His tenure will be one that Lagosians will wish it doesn't come to an end.

Foreign AffairsRe: Iran Threaten To Halt Red Sea Traffic In Response To US Blockade Of Iran's Ports by persius555(m): 9:19am On Apr 18
fijiano202:
The Wall Street Journal:

Iran has informed the mediators that it will continue during the remaining period of the ceasefire:

- Continuing to impose transit fees on ships passing through the strait.
- Restricting the number of ships allowed to transit daily.
- Requiring ships to coordinate with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard before passing through.
Suddenly, ian has become sea pirates. The US has brought maritime activity, out and into its port to an abrupt end.

In return, in collaboration with the houthis they threaten every ship that transverses the strait with fines or they risk destruction

What has the government done about poor network service offered by the service providers over the years?

Absolutely nothing. The only service that helps small businesses and individuals is what the government is after.

Did the customers complain about the borrowing serviceto the government? This same government mandated the service providers to increase their data rate astronomically just so they can raise more money.

Useless government

USA public debt is even higher than the country GDP

The more vibrant your economy the more the creditors are willing to borrow you.Borrowing and loans is not a misgovernance.Do you even know how much your celebrated Alex Otti has borrowed from Islamic bankshuh
In the world we live in today, debt is BB ad and an unending cycle. Why do you think America is up in harms against all the oil producing nations that are moving away from their weaponised dollar currency?

The answer is simple. America's economy is not as productive as it should be but it's amassing national debt at an unsustainable rate.

Stop rushing to justify Nigeria's climbing debt with America's continued borrowing. When the American debt bubble bursts, remember that our foreign reserves are majorly domiciled in American banks. We'll go down with the drowning ship.

Debt is bad anywhere

At some point the US will need to send soldiers in huge numbers into Iran but the US hesitates to do so. The casualties will be massive.
I believe that's the next line of action. The US will want to have a chokehold on its energy/financial infrastructure. It's not going to be an easy task but it's already taking shape.

It's going to be island after island , where the Iranian regime has spent years fortifying. This is one type of war the Americans like to execute.

Lers not forget, bthe ultimate target is the Chinese government. The US wants to rid or dwarf further Chinese influence in the ME.

Iran's oil infrastructure is key to this. I can bet the Chinese are providing intelligence to the Iranian military

Wiped who sir ? They agreed to a ceasefire, they wiped them how comes they still exist and are threatening fire and brimstone, you are really delusional. I have forgotten you are the chief strategist of the IDF. The Houthis have more advanced weaponry than Hezbollah, the Hezbollah is still hitting Isreal back to back, Isreal has never won Hezbollah in any conflict, they always agree to a ceasefire. The Houthis can effectively shutdown the Red sea and the Bandar el Mendab Strait. Is they are pushed to the wall, they will resume full hostilities . From what i have being seeing for the past one month, i haven't seen any war being fought by the US/Isreal, their objectives have not being met especially Isreal which is regime change, that is why they are just bombarding from the air recklessly out of frustration. The war of attrition has begun and this war is going to drag until the global economy starts to crack. Majority dont even understand the word "war". The dictionary meaning of war is not its definition in international politics. Some delusional fools thinks a war is being won when you are killing generals or bombing institutions. In this war, Iran has much leverage than any warring parties, that is just the plain truth, you cant win a war through brute force especially when you are the aggressor violating international law. There is equal balance of various factors in this scenario .
The US/Isreali might not win the war but the Iranian implosion has kust begun. A civil war most likely will break out and the US/Isreali will see this as victory afterall.

The aim is to disarm iran like it did to Iraq. The associated cost is what the US/Isreali are willing to bear.

The mullah got it wrong when they chose to rule their people with iron fist. This is the regime greatest weakness.

Like IRAQ, like IRAN. Like Saddam Hussein like Ayatollah Khameni. Assad and his lineage did this for decades in Syria. He was luck to escape with his family to Moscow.
Foreign AffairsRe: Yemen’s Houthis Launch Missile Attack On Israel As War With Iran Intensifies by persius555(m): 11:26am On Mar 29
This will not go down well with the houthi government, especially at a time that the iranian government that backs it is been militarily degraded by the US/Isreali coalition.

This is the opportunity that the Saudi/UAE backed opposition government have been looking for.

Without sufficient financial and military assistant coming from iran, the houthi government will not hold on for long.

To compound things, the US are already contemplating going for the economic jugular of Iran government by invading kharg island.

From all indications, the Iranians might have signalled the houthi to join the war on order to ease the pressure coming from the impact of the US/Isreali bombing.

It's really a mess out there.

Tinubu can't win a fair and square election. He has always depended on the ever greedy governors not popular votes by the masses.

Only in Nigeria will people be segregated just to have electricity. How is this even different from the racist whites?
This is president tinubu's leadership legacy. This is the same way he ruled as Lagos governor. He is someone who believes strongly in extreme classism.

In a nutshell, he believes 150million sacrificing their economic wellness for a few millions is only fair to humanity. He's not the type that can lead Nigeria out of economic doldrum.

But guys, I would like to ask, how did Adelabu become the power minister when he has no knowledge about Power?
Was he not the deputy governor of CBN when governor Charles solido was in charge of CBN?
The power ministry needs a sound Engineer, and not an accountant, banker or economist like adelabu.
Square pegs in round hole .

The good thing is, He only has just two days to resign since he's contesting the governorship in Oyo.
The same question should be sked why fashola was brought in to be monister of power when he knows next to nothing about the sector. Late president buhari and Tinubu will be remembered as some of the most incompetent leaders Nigeria ever had when it comes to appointments.

How can Government be paying for darkness? It's high time subsidy is removed and electricity is regulated to serve the interest of the populace.

What we currently have in the power sector is manipulation and extortion by these so called power generating companies.

They are the major problem of the epilepsy power supply in Nigeria.

Reason why the rich are moving towards the solar means of electricity generation. The president understands the complication involved in this entire chaon of power generation. This is the reason why he quickly opted for solar electricity for aso rock, leaving the entire country to deal with the headache of this back and forth.

Federal Government should totally dissociate itself from this sector and allow the states deal with this issues on their own. Better still, allow the states also come into the picture so the burden is reduced.

Just imagine paying estimated bills for darkness. That's total day light robbery.
