A major problem in career development is chasing money on one hand and chasing passion on the other (for example , doing a job just for money while following your passion as a side hustle). Your progress won't be as fast as you desire because your efforts are divided.

But when you are being paid while working in the field you desire. You don't need to worry about how to eke a living and as you work daily, you're improving the very skills you want to develop.

I.T is about your project portfolio and the closer that portfolio can get to what obtains in the professional industry, the better. Start looking for jobs in your desired field even if it's entry level.

and don't make the mistake of throwing all your cash into the business. Start small.

Global economy is melting. Countries that can't depend on themselves to some certain levels will hear koboko for this trump era, it's no joke. Nigeria will be highly hit too. Trump will cause more damages to many countries economy and sadly naira will also keep plummeting. It's a matter of time. If you are getting paid in dollars from Nigeria either as a freelance or traders , you will smile often.
