Good day guys, I need sincere advice from people that have experience with relocation, study route or migration matters. I graduated with a B.Sc in Architecture with a CGPA of 2.89. To be honest, I don’t really have intentions of continuing Architecture for my Master’s because I’ve realized my interests are shifting more towards crypto technology, Cyber security, management, business analysis, construction/project management, tech-related fields, skilled trades or practical career paths with better opportunities abroad. Right now, I’m seriously considering relocating through either Canada or Australia, preferably through the study route first, then building from there. I have searched a lot of schools but my CGPA has been the only impediment. I didn't reach the minimum mark. My questions are: >>. With a 2.89 CGPA, what are my realistic chances for Canada or Australia? >>>. Are there schools that can accept this CGPA for postgraduate diploma, Master’s, or conversion programs? >>>. Which country would be easier in terms of visa approval, PR opportunities and job availability for someone in my situation? >>>. What courses would you honestly recommend that have good demand and future prospects? >>>. Is it possible to move into construction management, HVAC, business analysis, IT or skilled trades from an Architecture background? I’d really appreciate honest guidance from people that have gone through this route already. My CGPA is my concern. No sugarcoating please. Thank you guys.

Hy Fellow Nigerians, I think I have accomplished all my missions in Nigeria and it's time for a new chapter. But I still have some bottlenecks to settle before making the best decision. I'm late twenties.A Bsc holder. Here are my issues at the moment. 1. The right country to choose. 2. The right skill 3. In a serious relationship My target countries are Australia & Canada but open to any European country( Schengen country) that would be good to start life as a family person and have an easier route to Permanent Residence or citizenship. I'm a crypto trader and I don't think it's something that's viable overseas. Have been trying to learn Cyber security but I'm.not consistent with it. But would be open to learn any other skill that would ensure I settle properly and take care of myself and family. On the last note, I'm in a serious relationship for the past 6 months and contemplating on getting married first before moving or moving first before adding any more load to my burden. My friends advised me to end everything and save my head first because it won't be easy moving in as a spouse in a new country. To be honest, I need to make a fast decision before the end of this year as everything seems to no longer move on my side at the moment since late last year, and I don't want to lose my savings before making the right decisions. Looking forward to your valuable contributions why I read and make the most important decisions of my life at the moment.

Pls I need to book this flight very fast as I need to make an emergency travel to South East by Tuesday for my my granny's burial. Pls I need guidance from gurus in this forum. Most of the information online is confusing, and wakanow has lots of bad reviews on Playstore, So I'm just confused to be honest. Thanks!!! |

Previous Thread! https://www.nairaland.com/6806087/want-relocate-lagos-no-where Sometime in November I came here to write about my intentions to leave my comfort zone. As God may have it, NYSC gave me that opportunity to pursue my goals. I was posted to far North-West, through the assistance of my friend I was able to work my redeployment to Abuja. Though it cost me some money, I'm trying to recover from the expenses. But I believe this the best decision I have made so far this year. The air of new environment, meeting new people and sharing different views about life most especially meeting young people who are doing fine in different areas of life is the most exciting stuff here. Abuja has a serene environment, cheap coat of feeding, though exorbitant rents, plus electricity in this area is far much better compared to East. My only source of income at the moment is my Crypto P2p earnings, and Alawee. I'm looking forward to venturing into other stuffs that would enhance my earnings sporadically. Though my crypto earnings was growing so fast before I moved for NYSC but I parted with so part of my capital to finance both my travel, and redeployment stuffs. I deeply regret it any, cos it's as if I'm eating my seed before it grows. And it has affected my daily target. I considered taking a small loan but I don't want to put myself into uncessary pressure. Though I leverage on few of my friends cap and refund once I sell off. Hopefully God will give me another opportunity to bounce back real quick. I'm looking forward to starting off my e-commerce business again or other viable businesses as the environment permits. I'm passionate about Tech , and looking forward to learning more advanced skills like Cloud Computing. Looking forward to meeting more bright minds in this Abuja into Crypto, Tech and other Internet marketing businesses. Currently, I stay in my friends apartment pending till when I rent mine very soon. Hopefully God will help me achieve this result few months to come. I'm highly energetic and highly focused individual. No Papa and Mama here so man gats focus to give a bright future to the upcoming generation. Special regards to Nairaland members that reached out to assist through their advises and suggestions for a better location via their emails and WhatsApp messages. May you never lack help when you need it! Looking forward to meeting like-minds and Abj Nairaland members as well. Long live Nairaland! Long live all hardworking youths striving to break even! |
Strongdickfresh:And they won't block you from show-casing your earnings BA? You can create a What'sapp or Telegram group if you really want to help bro. I understand it isn't easy but it's better that way. |
Strongdickfresh:I wonder why I.M can't do without show-casing this earnings online abi na to brag abi na to sell your courses? I even thought you want to share your strategies to help out newbies in the industry. But then I hope you don't end up using reverse psychology on them.. Happy New Year in Advance!! Ire ooo |

My type is the funny ones. My ambitions are the crazy type. Well, I have always want to experience and explore the Lagos lifestyle due to my ambitions and business acumen. I'm the techie type and highly business inclined. I'm into some online business (E-commerce, &Freelancing) but since late last year, it has been rough. Some of my friends that had similar issue were able to resolve theirs or ventured into other businesses but I'm still running round the circle. Of course, I strong believe environment plays a big path in human growth and development. I live in the east at the moment, and my environment has been beneficial so far, but I think I needed to change to a more competitive and exposed environment to attain the next level. Lagos has been on my mind due to recent advice from my mentor and few of my online friends all base in Lagos and doing well for themselves. Now, NYSC was only hope of breaking into the Lagos atmosphere but my department hasn't been helping matters. I'm still a semi-fresh graduate that wants to make way for my generation. I graduated since 2019 had issue with my result which has been resolved but my department has been to lazy to post our results for approval and our chances of going for Batch C stream II is almost very slim. The next batch is by next year possibly March or April. And I don't think I can wait till then. My parents are no longer comfortable seeing me around even though I don't stay with them. And yes, our relationship has been poor since then. I don't really have much for rent, but if I can get a an affordable good place with good electricity and water I will survive and make way for myself. I have tried making inquiries from few online friends and distant relations, their suggestions and ideas for choosing a good location in Lagos has been contradicting. But then, I will make the move and strong I will break out. My question would be, what's the cost for one bedroom selfcon and a location with good electricity and security. Abeg make Una help me, I no fit sleep well for months now....I wan come Lagos PS: Sorry for my long epistle. Mynd44, lalasticalala |
