Aside from the fear of delisting Oando, all eyes should be on the day oando will conclude with Naoc. Expect massive bull from that day.
Buying NAOC makes oando an operator in the E&P 1 Like |

Different people have different target prices for it on the sell and buy side. Overall the market price trend seem to be creeping up small small. Perhaps till a major pronouncement is made. It will be nice to know if those linked to management are secretly mopping it up. The next pronouncement will be conclusion of the deal with Naoc. This might happen before Feb 2024 since oando already has the fund for the purchase. |

I am just concerned about few things regarding Oando.
How will they get the money to buy ENI 20% while still maintaining the current OS. Do we think Tinubu will bring out money to increase assets of oando and allow the shareholders to enjoy just like that.
I see them pushing forward to delist or increase the OS of oando.
Looking at their current market cap vis a vis what the value of 40% ownership of NNPC/naoc/oando joint venture. It is too good to be true.
These assets include just to mention a few;
About 980MV power plant in Okpai NAOC base in PHC All flow stations and gas plants in NAOC land area and swamp area. Brass LNG, etc 3 Likes |

donbrowser: This literally means we'll have 3 rates going forward:
CBN rate Swap rate BDC rate
Swap will be the official black market rate which the government will use to checkmate and control the BDC since Banks are sabotaging the official trading platform. Swap's rate will also have enough virtual dollars that will bring the rate very close to the official rate.
This is a game. Let's see how it goes The rate on SWAP is even higher than black market 1 Like |

You also need to look at their equity and OS, it looks like 10naira per share which might have triggered people to start selling.

Investing should not be focused on making money but beating or keeping up with inflation or devaluation through any means necessary. I can't help but notice Most people focus on the former. As long they are making money they doing a great job. That is a wrong way of seeing investing. |

Where did LP party got party agents, are u not in Nigeria when the inec published list of party agents in polling units,. LP did not have representative in more than 60 percent of polling units in Nigeria. So they are relying on others party figures in those polling units, relying on others parties figure in the North where they failed too? Where they recorded lowest votes. Here in Ekiti, they don't have party agents in more than 95% polling units, if they were rigged in those polling units, how wiill LP party challenged that? May b PDP and APC decided to rigged for themselves , pls can will LP know this, they only rely on where there's going to b over voting and nothing of such happened here Don’t worry, the results are on IREV and we will use those. APC just go and celebrate, why are they worried. Some on Twitter took his time to collate one ward result in Bauchi LGA, and has shown that PO got about 5,000 votes against 184 recorded for him. We are not relying on the party agents, we will work with inec figures on the IREV |

Toks2008: He is very right... It is at the discretion of INEC..
But has anybody asked if INEC has already made their discretion known...? The answer is a big Fat YES and Inec's discretion is contained in the Electoral act which was the basis for the new act.
Read this...
Section 60 (5) of the Act states that the presiding officer shall transfer the results including total number of accredited voters and the results of the ballot in a manner as prescribed by the commission” (This is exactly what Alake meant by discretion) .
Now read on
The prescribed manner here is the BVAS, which INEC introduced to ensure that the electoral process is credible.
The BVAS was introduced by INEC in line with Section 148 of the Electoral Act, which gives INEC power to make guidelines and regulations to ensure the full effect of the law.
In view of the above facts. “the electronic transmission of votes provided by the Electoral Act and in the guidelines issued by INEC has not been complied with”.
Hence the Presidential election results as announced by INEC is non and void.
Has anyone ever wondered why Dino Melaye was insisting that the state Inec reps announcing each result should say that what they were announcing is in tandem with what was uploaded on the server?
Here is the reason...
Section 64 (4) of the Electoral Act states that “a collation officer or returning officer at an election shall collate and announce the result of an election, subject to his or her verification and confirmation that the number of accredited voters stated on the collated result are correct and consistent with the number of accredited voters recorded and transmitted directly from polling units and that the votes stated on the collated result are correct and consistent with the votes or results recorded and transmitted directly from polling units”.
There were no statements by the returning officers that the results being called out were verified and confirmed that they were those directly transmitted from the polling unit.(This last paragraph alone has made the entire results void)
Infact, INEC chairman on many occasions has reiterated that capturing of election results and uploading them from the polling units REAL TIME IS A LEGAL REQUIREMENT TO VALIDATE ANY ELECTIONS meaning without it, any election is invalid.
Alake has just shot APC in the foot.
My fear is just that the Supreme Court might be complicit and may not give the right Judgement cos Nigeria is a country where elephants can fly. You are very correct, those going to court should look at technicality to cover so as not to give the Supreme Court room to give wrong judgment based on technicality. This case is very simple, even the ordinary man on the street understands the law that inec did not follow |

Inec have said it several times but i don't know y we can't say simple truth and understanding. Believe on your own if u think that i NEC with upload results immediately. I served as INEC official in many situation, i know the problems that used to arise when polling officers are trying to upload results. The only one bvas does successfully without hitch is sending of report of accredited voters, but u see uploading of results is always a big problem, even inec itself know , many polling units election are uploaded online by collation officers in each wards , corp members that served as polling units officers would b in hurry and can't withstand the stress most time. Finally, uploading election results to the server is not mandatory that day and is not a yardstick for collating election. INEC collate election manually not Tru the one the server brings and no where in INEC act says it must collate electronically, that's why many party will fail in the court if that's the only fact they are taking to the court Oga INEC official, go and read your inec guideline properly |

ProphetM0hammad: Using irev would aid transparency But it's not compulsory under electoral law to use it
If they couldn't make use of it because of technical glitch that doesn't mean it has automatically been rigged. Now LP said they won PDP also said they won All because inec didn't use the irev Losers are just capitalizing on that Take your time to study the electoral act and INEC guidelines |

Such character believed that they can run the govt alone without taking into account that he is not omnipresent and have others around them who want sabotage them.
They believed in being stingy which will not help circular flow of income and have regional sentiment which will lead to nepotism and subsequently engender mediocrity in govt.
I've supported such like mind in Buhari for almost 8yrs and there's no considerable growth. This is why I'm not impressed by the Obi candidature aside his average track record. So who will you vote for? |
