Properties / Re: Investments Vs Liabilities Using Shina Peters And Jim Ovia As Case Study. by peterarc(m): 11:15am On Apr 03, 2017
i dont know how many ppl that became wealthy by investing in savings account but i certainly do know thos that opened financial institutions and almost all of them became wealthy...some tho mismanaged the wealth and became poor again and some even went to jail for financial crimes - those were just a character problems and could have been done better if they were sincere. But the truth remains that the financial sector is one of the most lucrative in the world for so many centuries. Now, dont misunderstand me finance cannot go without real estate - they work hand in hand that's why the new generation banks like zenith quickly started acquiring plenty of real estate after they got the cash. but what you should understand is that real estate is not just owning an expensive piece of property. the real question in real estate is: how much is that property bringing to you each month, for how long and how many times can the process and system be replicated and compounded? this is the real difference between jim and shina. Both of them are in real estate business. Jim did commercial real estate putting in it a system that if he works hard at will replicate money to infinity beyond his generation but shina did residential for Himself & Family ONLY Limited to last as long as he lives and can afford to maintain it by himself at least... that's the real difference broe - I'm into real estate, our company buys and sells land in vast areas too... but i'm entering into finance too because they go hand in hand, if not there's no future for what i do. hence, whatever you're doing now begin to look into how to create a self- sustaining system that can replicate and compound in the coming years if you work hard at it or rather still if you're gainfully employed and want to avoid conflict of interest, find someone to partner who is doing such so that as he grows you grow too on the sidelines without much of the effort and take what part belongs to you. this is often harder to do than to just thnk cos many ppl out there are either fraudulent or incompetent...belive it or not - that's the way it is

worldchanger7, it's rather your facts that aren't right and i think you should do your homework before exposing your ignorance and stop cooking up excuses for mediocrity: firstly, the founder of Econet is Strive Masiyiwa and not Ibrahim Mo. Secondly, starting bank in the nineties was as cheap as (or even less than) N20m, those who were grown enough to ask questions in that direction know it to be so...probably you were still playing hide and seek in the backyard with ur peers or wasn't even born yet, that doesnt nullify that fact nor justify your publicised ignorance (the internet gives you access to history and not just to social media, so use it well to get ur facts right broe)... and besides, N20m then was real big money. if you like sue the writer for shina peters, the truth cannot be anything but bitter

Travel / Port Harcourt Real Estate Boom Is Finally Here: An Insider Deal by peterarc(m): 2:54pm On Dec 28, 2010
i have opportunity to have lived and worked in Lagos and PH before resigning to go into business in PH. I think both cities are alike expensive and cheap depending on what you're looking for and how desperate you want it.

Moreover, PH is turning into a mega city with the Greater PH status spanning 8 LGAs. It's cheap to get positioned now in the real estate sector. Even the GRA houses are not as expensive as Magodo or Ikeja. When it (PHC) grows to become as London or even as Lagos in the next few years, who will you be or which side of the game will be placed? Landlord or tenant or on-looker still looking for pix? For the discerning, you can take advantage of owning some plots with peace of mind in this insider mega estate deal (Piracle Gardens) close to UPTH/UNIPORT, Obio Akpor LGA (the richest LGA in the state). Pay-as-you-go 12months installment arrangement is in place for the plots which is trade-able during the tenure - a better investment than stocks Download the attachments or call 084-880797 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting              084-880797      end_of_the_skype_highlighting, 08033193780 or email info@piracle.net
Politics / Re: Political Office Holders Earn N1.13tn Yearly ! by peterarc(m): 10:39am On Feb 16, 2009
I want to particularly reply a port Harcourt based social critic - the publisher of hard truth newspaper who said this morning on the radio that the president has no remedy for the global crisis to offer Nigerians just because he wants to cut political officers' pay. i think this is one of the reasons the whites regard us as sub humans. how can we use almost half of the revenues of a nation to pay less than 1% of the population for doing nothing and still expect to become a rich nation? i mean they do 'nothing' because we do not have common electricity- light has only come in my house about 8 hours since this year and i stay in an urban centre. are we fooling ourselves by calling on foreign investors to come in? the N1.13tr is besides the contract monies that are signed off that don't come to fruition e.g. the N300bn spent by chief anini on roads, and now he's appointed back in office again; 'God Knows how much' spent on a failed NigSat 2 satelite; and $16bn spent on phcn by obj. this N1.13 does not even include public servants of any of the three tiers of government, and even if it does, is still outrageous.

although i'm not in full agreement with the president's programs for the country, especially seeing his appointees, but the pay cut should have been done long ago, probably as he resumed duty or before. it's only in poor countries like Nigeria that people go into government with the purpose of self enrichment at the detriment of every other person. countries that play that way can never be rich even if all their lands are as 'oil-filled' as bakassi. politicians in US for instance go there to make name by their achievements but we go to make money, and we still remain poor after making 'all the money'. i feel if our politicians are really sincere about rebuilding this nation, they should forfeit their salaries and work for free. if they do this only one year we would have gone 5 years forward as a nation. if they are not prepared to serve for free, i bet there are over a million Nigerians ready to do so including myself. just call for a survey and you'd be amazed at the response both home and abroad.

for the social critic to advice political officers to go on strike in protest of the proposed pay slash means he's benefiting from the jumbo pay directly or indirectly. of course he once accepted a PDP appointment to be campaign chairman that ushered in the erstwhile governor celestine omehia of rivers state. i think he has to think a little more before rushing to the electronic media to speak.
Sports / [size=8pt][b]super Eagles Have No Coach, Maybe A Technical Adviser Or Addresser[ by peterarc(m): 11:36pm On Jan 30, 2008
super eagles has no coach, maybe a technical adviser or addresser

right from the process that betty vogts came in, i knew there was something fundamentally wrong and we can only achieve anything with "miracles" not necessarily because of coaching expertise. it seemed to me that our nigerians at the glass house where at it again the "nigerian way" of awarding contracts to non performers and collecting 80% of the money before signing the cheque. otherwise why should one hire a coach that is not even a second class to coach the best national team in africa, operaiting from his country as if it was just a stone throw away.

also, i've always been of the opinion that kanu's days in the senior team are over. he should be the coach by now. thanks to the injury that made him play that role, if not nigeria never stood any chance of progressing against its last group opponent in the afcon. vogts is paying some people for being there so he shouldn't be disturbed and he knows that,

i expected after the problem that led to sani lulu's entry, nfa should have had better ideas by now. the best teams in the world still use local coaches, and i wonder if in a population of over 150 million we cannot find a good coach for the senior team? of course we do have because yemi tella showed its possible,

football is nigerian so you guys should be careful. i stoped watching super eagles live matches over ten years ago because of this "glass house politics" that robs of on their perfomance, please, let vogts be the last mistake, though it wasn't really a mistake but some people's business.

thank you
