The two men were killed in a shoot-out at a house robbery in Windsor Avenue, Umhlanga Ridge, South Africa.

Five suspects armed with handguns and two rifles wrecked a driveway gate before storming into the house. Other security officers were notified of a white Mercedes-Benz which was their getaway car.

Shortly after this, a report was received for an attempted house robbery in Savell Avenue.

“Marshall Security armed reaction officers responded and information ascertained was that a White Mercedes Benz with five armed suspects confronted the female homeowner before fleeing the scene,” Marshall Security said.

According to reports, the suspect who is believed to be an internet fraudster popularly known as ‘Yahoo Boy’, scammed a fuel station after purchasing fuel and pretending to make a transfer of N40,000.

The incident happened sometime ago but luck ran out on the suspect as he was caught yesterday after being tracked down by vigilante operatives.

Report has it that the suspect is currently in police custody as his family members are pleading on his behalf and have promised to pay back the money.

A dead whale that washed ashore in eastern Indonesia had a large lump of plastic waste in its stomach, including drinking cups and flip-flops, a park official said Tuesday, causing concern among environmentalists and government officials in one of the world’s largest plastic polluting countries.

Items found included 115 drinking cups, four plastic bottles, 25 plastic bags and two flip-flops.

“Although we have not been able to deduce the cause of death, the facts that we see are truly awful,” Dwi Suprapti, a marine species conservation co-ordinator at WWF Indonesia, was quoted as saying by the Associated Press.
