Tiwa savage is undoubtedly a force to reckon with in the Nigeria music industry. She broke into the Nigeria scene with her hit single 'Kelekele Love' and has since been storming hard. But lately, she doesn't have any hit song or let's presume she's finding it hard to dish out anothe hit song (not a popular song). The only time Tiwa savage trends now is when she's in the news with Wizkid. She welcomed a new baby some days back and got her self a Bentley Mulsanne worth N120 Million. Aww! That’s a whooping sum of money. She had been named amongst the strongest and most influential female in Africa and World at large. She recently received an honorary degree awards from Trinity.. Well, in the time past she has accused and insulted other celebrities who had a child before legally married as “Celebrities who had a baby out of wedlock” Wizkid wasn’t cool with the “Wedlock” in the statement she made then and this caused rift between the two stars.. Not long after she alleged that Olamide has also joined the growing list of celebrities that had a child out of wedlock. "All you Naija celebrity men know you can have s3x (plenty of it sef) without getting any woman pregnant, right? Olamide has reportedly joined the growing list of celebs having kids outside marriage as his long-time girlfriend, Adebukunmi Aisha Suleiman, is said to be expecting a baby." She posted it on her blog and this made the rapper so furious he even cursed her on his twitter page back then.. He claimed she had not been contributing to his success but quick to post shit about him. Linda Ikeji as a strong woman stood her ground and insisted that the fact remains the baby was born out of “Wedlock” and that she's a fan of Olamide. Wizkid came in support of Olamide as they both find the statement as improper and diminishing. Having a baby out of wedlock simply means having a baby when not legally married. And it’s also termed as having a child while living a careless promiscuous life. Fast forward to some days back. The renowned blogger also had a baby with her not yet married “husband” Does that mean she has also joined the growing list of celebrities that had a child out of wedlock?? Is that Karma at work?? Let's discuss.. Article Source : https://www.dreddsworld.com/2018/09/linda-ikeji-joins-celebrities-that-had.html?m=1 |

The self acclaimed Voice of the street is no stranger to all lovers of music in Nigeria and across. Olamide stole the heart of many young Nigerians with his debut single ‘Eni Duro' Produced by Id Cabasa under Coded Tunes Record and he has since been delivering up to expectations if not beyond. He rose to fame in 2011, and now in 2018, he remains a great force to reckon with. During this period many artiste has lost their way and have become irrelevant in the Industry. Here are 8 reasons Olamide lasted this far in Nigeria Music Industry. Upcoming artists could make use of them. 1. Originality : Olamide came into the Industry as he, himself and nothing more.. A young talented bariga boy hungry to be heard. He showed he has a lot to give rap lovers in the country. He isn’t shy to say he is from the slum and he kept giving the hood a voice in the Industry. The industry been filled with giants that rose to stardom with enough support both financially and reputable influence. It is right to say coming up as an underdog isn’t an easy task. Olamide’s originality made the street love him. Seeing one of their own rapping and giving a voice for them is a thing of joy. Undoubtedly, Olamide won the heart of the street with his originality. He is not intimidated with the belief that Rap can be most delivered in English. He keeps making it known that language is not a barrier and he has proven it. We can also say Olamide is the most successful indigenous rapper in Nigeria and has cleared way for many other young talents. 2. Consistency : Ever since he came to the limelight with his hit single ‘Eni Duro' He didn’t relent his effort, he went ahead to give more lovely sounds. Rapping both in Yoruba and English mixed with pidgin English. He dropped his first album ‘Rapsodi' and then the following year. Badoo dropped the game changing album ‘YBNL’ which most people still consider as his best album of all. In one of his songs he said ‘after my first album, ‘won ro pe won ni ri mo' meaning ‘A lot of people think he’ll be gone after his first album’ He kept dropping hot tunes from ‘Durosoke' to ‘Badoo Love and loads of others. His consistency makes him drop an album every year with tonnes of singles and collaborations. He is no doubt the most consistent rapper in the music industry. 3. Versatility : Olamide understands what the music lovers want and he knows how to dish them out hot hot. He mixes rap with Afro pop and he knows when is best to switch. He flows well on love songs just as he does on his street bangers. An example of this is ‘badoo love ‘ Yemi My Lover ‘ Melo Melo ‘ and some others. Versatility has made him stand out amongst his pairs. You would probably say he delivers swiftly with his ‘Ijebu' accent the same way he does with the central ‘Yoruba' He is also known for the way he plays on songs adding spice to tracks and laughing hilariously on songs. Not to forget he is known for using abusive words also on tracks. 4. Slangs : Badoo has dropped more lines turn slangs in songs than any other artists. There are notable lines from his songs that turned to anthem in the country at large. Starting from ‘eni duro' ‘hello, how are you?’ one or two polopolo (from interview with tools) fast forward to ‘science students ‘ (drug abusers) You can add yours Adding this saucy tones to his lyrics has also made him stand out and remain relevant in the Industry. 5. No Longtime Enemy : Olamide on his road to success knowingly and unknowingly stepped on some people and he took his time to clear the beef with them. His first manager ‘Toni Payne’ accused him of playing smart by going to shows with her notice. Just to have the money all to himself. She dropped him and things seems not to be cool between them. When fame and money came, Olamide didn’t lash her for dropping him, he showered her praises for supporting him in the difficult times. His alleged beef with ID cabasa after leaving Coded Tunes didn’t make any sense when he kept ID Canada close to him when he made it. He still record songs from him and always say he is the backbone behind his success. His alleged beef with Veteran rapper M. I also came to an end when he was caught on camera during a Star Trek event whispering ‘I’m sorry into M.I’s ear. He started receiving support from M.I after the video surfaced He had a twitter fight with popular blogger ‘Linda Ikeji’ when she listed him among the celebrities that had a child out of wedlock. He cleared the air when he sent birthday wishes to her on her birthday adding that there is no bad blood. His feud with Don Jazzy also ended well when both sides was called by Dangote. And they’ve been cool afterwards. 6. He Paved Way For Others : When God bless you, endeavor to bless others too. This is why Olamide remains highly acknowledged. He has signed quite number of people and a lot of upcoming artists made their first hit single by featuring Olamide. The likes of Lil kesh, Adekunle Gold, Chinko Ekun, Viktoh all rose to stardom with the help of their label Boss , Olamide paved way for high numbers of artists in the Industry now.. We don’t need to mention names. 7. Uniqueness : Olamide is known for his simple dressing. Less blings, RayBan glasses and hilarious hairstyles. His love for the Oduduwa heritage and Ankara attires. When you hear badoo.. And you see a young man in Ankara with a red cup on his hand. You know what times is it. 8. Hardwork : This list won't be complete if 'hardwork'is not included. Olamide is known for putting in work every year to remain at the top of charts. Hardly will you point out a year whereby olamide flopped or find it difficult to dish out some hot bangers. He releases an album every year with numerous collaborations as said earlier. This has also been confirmed by some other artists like Wizkid, Davido, M.I e.t.c regarding him as an hardworking artist. In summary, Olamide is an hardworking artist that has remain consistent over the years. Other upcoming acts looking up to becoming a success like him can make use of these qualities. In the Clifford constitution of 1922 which totally marginalized the northerners and their political leaders from taking the decision of country then, Then a lot of political mayhem was caused by the north leaders due to the marginalization caused by Clifford constitution. Nigeria was divided into three regions ,North, west ,east regions. By the Richard constitution of the 1946, A lot of Parliament seats were located to the north than the west and east, the introduction of the regional politics also contributed to the political rivalry among our leaders then. Party formed then was more of a regional party than unified party due to the political crisis that occurred among our leaders then, corruption nepotism despotism has been the order of the day. The 1960 constitution also contribute to the political bitterness and rivalries among the politicians. Due to the formula that will guide the nation in sharing of national cake (resources), leaders from the north region want the national resources to be share according to the population and size because the north hold 55.5% population pattern. This was highly rejected by their counterpart from the western and Eastern region of the federation who believed that the national cake (resources) should be shared equally and systematic according to the quota the regions contributed to the national development, this caused an uproar among the northerners in the federal legislative council, high intense political bitterness played out it's self then which later caused the downfall of the then federalism. This later ushered in a military government called coup d,etat, sharing formula of resources which also contribute to the nemesis of the constitution then. MacPherson constitution of 1951 introduce more of a civilized and well organised regional political system which divide the Nigeria political system into more systematic process. It led to the introduction of regional premier, which is the head of government also contribute to the political bitterness, in the case of AG and the NCNC, (Action Group and National council and Nigerian Cameroon. During 1954 General election, it was believe that NCNC won majority of the regional legislature seat in the western region, Then the leader of NCNC Nnamdi Azikwe constitutionally should become the western region premier but was denied because of the politics of bitterness, because he came from the eastern region of Nigeria then, This political saga created a lot of political lackadaisical then. And till this present moment, politics of bitterness is still among the major factors hindering the growth of the country. After we have been able to make power supply available and stable. Some critical issues should also be addressed. 1. The cashless policy: This would be best if introduced and took effect in a state like Nigeria, for the Nigeria Naira to be strong again it would have to be scarce and the issue of money laundering should be curtailed and banks Should be given terms and conditions with the presence of the ICPC and EFCC. 2. The scrap of the N1000 note: The N1000 note should be implemented and be replaced by coins and kobo, its important we should reduce the number of zeros in our currency to prevent inflation and commonness of Nigeria Naira. 3. Infrastructural goal: Nigeriais ranked as one of the largest oil producing state amidst the Oil producing States in the international community it's a pity and very disheartening if we can't boast of our own refinery because with this if constructed, job opportunities for the petrochemical engineers would be made available and other fields, the building of cocoa house should also be look into. 4. Diversification of the economy: This is also a key policy that must take effect if we must enjoy a turn around, Agriculture must be one of the means where we generate funds and contribute to our gross domestic product annually, all other mineral resources gifted to us by nature are enough to make Nigeria be better than most developed countries of the world, importation of some domestic products like finished products should be ban. Nigeria is a big market and should not be a dumping ground for this, our government should try to convince the international investors around the globe to come down to Nigeria and invest, we buy phones and Automobile's in higher rates,if this people can come over and bombard each state of the federation with companies gradually we are growing up and poverty is gradually reducing. 5. Military relation: Our armed forces dominated the Ecowas monitoring group (Ecomog )we should stop offering services for free for a certain period of time Nigeria government should try to have a laid down agreement with other Western African countries which would be of benefit to us, which may be in form of a bilateral relation or unilateral relation through that we are gaining ground gradually... we must delink our economy from the capitalist state economy and embrace a socialist economy route.
