Christianity EtcA Strong Decision To Rise Again By: Peter Owinje by Peterowinje(op): 7:31pm On Apr 04, 2020
A strong decision to rise again

“I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.” (Lk 15:7)
“Likewise I say to you there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repent.

Then He said a certain man who had two sons.

The younger of them said to his Father, Father gave me my share of your property; he divided his livelihood between them.

Not many days after, the younger Son gather all of this together and travelled into a far country. Where he wasted his property with riotous living.

When he had spent all of it, there arose a severe famine in that country and he began to be in need.

He went and joined himself to one of that country and he sent him into his fields to feed pigs.

He wanted to fill his belly with the husks that the pigs also ate, but no one gave him any.

But when he came to himself he said how many hired servants of my fathers have bread enough to spare and I’m dying with hunger;

I will get up and go to my father and I will tell him, father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight.

I am no more worthy to be called your son, make me as one of your hired servants.

He arose and came to his father. But while he was still far his father saw him and was moved with compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him.

The son said to his father I have sinned against heaven and in your sight. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.

But the father said to his servants bring out the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his hand and shoes on his feet.

Bring the fattened calf kill it and let us eat and celebrate,

For this my son was dead and was alive again. He was lost and is found. They began to celebrate.

Now his elder son was in the field. As he came near to the house he heard music and dancing.

He called one of the servants to him and asked him what was going on.

He said to him your brother has come and your father has killed the fattened calf, because he has received him back safe and healthy.

But he was angry and he would not go in. therefore, his father came out and begged him.

But he said to his father, behold, these many years I served you and I never disobeyed a commandment of yours, but you never gave me a goat that I might celebrate with my friends.

But when this, your son, came who had devoured your living with prostitutes, you killed the fattened calf for him.

He said to him, Son, you are always with me and all that is mine is yours.

But it was appropriate to celebrate and be glad, for this, your brother was dead and is alive again. He was lost and is found” (Lk 15:10-32).

Often time it appears that to fall into an error by a man is inevitable in the journey of life. It is human to be err, hence, it is possible for a man to make mistakes at one time or the other in life, some of these costly mistakes have caused many people a misfortune, this may also explain the fall of a man in the Garden of Eden. However, the falling of a man may not be an issue that matters in this regards, neither is it the end of a man in life, what matters most in this regards is the strong desire and determination of any man to rise from a fall.

Furthermore, devil in his evil plan always work hard to ensure that a child of God fall into temptation that will cause him a misfortune. Undoubtedly, he has been doing this for long. Apostle Peter, King David, Father Moses, Samson, among others are the examples of people, who fell into error that caused them a misfortune in their life time, even till now devil has not relented in his effort to make every believer fall into error that may cause them a misfortune in their Christian race. This explains why we need to be careful, vigilant and prayerful.

At this point, we need to look into the life of a man in the Bible who fell into error and determined to rise again and see how he demonstrated his strong decision to rise again.

A great joy waiting for a strong decision to rise

“I say to you like wise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repent than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.” (Lk.15:7)

“Likewise I say to you there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repent.” (Lk15:10).

A decision exists as a result of a man’s ability to make a choice. It is an act of a man to conclude on an issue after due consideration or better still, it is an act of a man to decide on a matter. A decision is important because it shows you the way to follow. Indecision is dangerous; it may cause unnecessary frustration and delay in the wheel of progress.

However, Jesus says “…there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents…” (Lk15:7). There is always a joy waiting for a right decision that is made to move from a sinful life to a godly life in Christ Jesus. Jesus made it known that there is going to be more joy in heaven over a man who decides to repent from a sinful life. Jesus in His wisdom did not only show us this truth without telling us a story to drive home the point and I think it is important for us to look at the story in details for our own admonition.

Car Talk10 Ways Of Reducing Road Traffic Accidents by Peterowinje(op): 1:06am On Apr 17, 2019
According to National Bureau of Statistics, From January to June, 2018, 2,623 people lost their lives to road traffic accident, in addition, as at
March 2018, National Bureau of Statistics also, reveals that Nigeria registered 11, 657, 871 vehicles. However, it is of interest to note that Nigeria is one of the countries in African with high rate of road traffic accident. Since all of us are road users hence, the need to reduce untimely death of many road users due to road traffic accident becomes inevitable.
Death and injury from road accidents, in some parts of the world, mostly developing countries, are becoming a notable global problem that requires a serious attention. For instance, in 1998, the World Bank gave an estimation of 1 million deaths from road accidents. In 2004, the World Health Day, the report from the WHO and the World Bank showed that the number of deaths recorded from road accidents was about 1.2 million people while 50 million people were injured. One may wonder why there is a high rate of road accidents in the developing countries while in the developed countries the rate of accidents is reducing on daily basis. In the developed countries, the traffic rules and regulations are enforced on all motorists while in the developing countries, there is poor implementation of the traffic rules and regulations coupled with diverse personal issues that many people in the developing countries have to face. Such issues, amongst others include, poverty, depression, physical illness, emotional and financial stress. These are enormous possible factors that may force the road users to misbehave when making use of the road. Hence, below are 10 possible ways of reducing road accidents on our roads: Please, click here to read details: http://globaltransportandlogistics.com/10-ways-of-reducing-road-traffic-accidents/

Car TalkCar Tyre: A Matter Of Life And Death by Peterowinje(op): 6:05pm On Mar 18, 2019
It appears that car tyre safety has been overlooked or taken for granted by many motorists who do not care to know much about the tyres on their vehicle. Most motorists lack adequate tyre safety information or tips that can prevent severe accidents. Many drivers, mostly ladies, leave their tyre safety in the hands of roadside vulcanizers who may also be clueless. This may create more chances of severe injury or loss of life for the road users. It is important that your car tyres can save you from untimely death or unwanted injuries,if properly managed with safety. On the other hand, your car tyres can also cause untimely death or unwanted damage if poorly managed and this is the reason why tyre safety is very important, mostly to prevent untimely death and injury. Many road users have undoubtedly lost their precious lives on road accidents due to tyre failure. For instance, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reveals that over 400 deaths occurred every year due to tyre failures or blowouts and 78, 000 crashes occurred every year. The frequency of tyre blowouts is highly worrisome. For instance, tyre blowout statistics also reveals that majority of accidents that occurred from 2005 to 2007, and involving over 2 million vehicles were caused by tyre related issues. Here are tyre safety tips you must know: Please click here to read details: http://globaltransportandlogistics.com/car-tyre-a-matter-of-life-and-death/
Car Talk10 Safety Tips For Road Users by Peterowinje(op): 6:38pm On Sep 19, 2018
Virtually everyone is a road user; everyone depends on road transport for one reason or the other. Indeed, it is an indispensable part of our daily activities which
also has a high element of risk. This explains why safety consciousness is very
important for all road users.
Road safety advice refers to suggestions that can keep road users safe from danger while using the road. The tips are as follows:
1. Do not be too much in a hurry to a place, programme, or an event while using the road. Why? It is better to arrive late than to be a late man.
2. Never use the road as if it belongs to you alone. We are all road users, so put others into consideration while making use of the road.
3. Never drive recklessly on the road. If you do, it may be a short cut to your early grave.

Car TalkWhy Air Transport Is Safer Than Other Modes Of Transport by Peterowinje(op):
Out of other modes of transport, air transport remains the number one choice of many travellers who would like to move from one nation to another or travel across continents. Its unique quality in providing safe and very fast transport services to thousands of people daily, mostly the businessmen, by linking them to where there are business opportunities in different locations around the world makes it the most preferable transport mode for international travellers. For instance, in 2016, globally air transport accounted for 3.6 billion passengers which is 48 per cent of the world population. (Source: NCAA Profile Oct. 2014-Oct. 2016)
The role of the aviation industry in the economy of any nation cannot be overemphasized; its enormous contributions to both domestic and international trade have led to the economic growth and development of many nations in the
world. Besides, it is also a notable source of employment as the aviation industry
includes all airlines, airports, air navigation and other important ground services
that make air transport operations possible; they are all sources of notable employment for unemployed people.
Furthermore, air transport plays an important role in the global economy by enhancing world productivity, and providing links to expand different markets for
companies to operate. These important roles, among others, make air transport
indispensable. Hence, the need to make air transport safer is the fundamental duty of aviation industries and the International Civil Aviation Organization.
However, there are three distinctive factors why air transport is safer than other modes of transport. These factors are easily noticeable in the daily operations of all aviation industries in the world. They are: kindly click to read the remaining article here: http://globaltransportandlogistics.com/why-air-transport-is-safer-than-other-modes-of-transport/
Car TalkRoad Safety: ... Road Accident A Major Cause Of Death Among Little Children. by Peterowinje(op): 3:19am On Jul 14, 2018
Road safety is described as the methods or the ways designed in order to minimize or reduce the likely risk that a road user may encounter for using the roads. Road safety focuses on prevention of serious injuries and untimely death. It is important to note that road accident has claimed so many lives while many other victims sustained permanent injuries. For instance, according to the World Health Organization (WHO) reveals that more than one million people are killed on road accident around the world each year. For example, in 2004 World Health Organization (WHO) published a report that not less than 1.2 million people were killed 50 million injured in traffic collisions on the road around the world each year and it was a major cause of death among little children of age nine to ten (9-10). In addition, in 2007, road accidents claimed 3,267 in three (3) states in Nigeria namely Osun, Ondo, and Oyo State. Source: The Punch Newspaper, Nigeria. A research also shows that one (1) out of five (5) deaths daily comes from road accident. Painfully enough, World Health Organization (WHO) also noted that the problem was most sever in developing countries. This is my major pain and concern, that in developing countries we lose huge number of human capital on our roads and simple prevention measure could have reduced this high number of deaths. Hence, the need for proper road safety measures cannot be over emphasized in road transportation.

Car TalkRoad Safety Culture: Individual Responsibility And The Role Of Media Inevitable. by Peterowinje(op): 10:37am On Jul 07, 2018
The high rate of road accidents in the world at large is highly worrisome. Many people lost their loved ones on road accidents while many others are injured or disabled. Based on the statistics given by WHO, nearly 1.3 million people die in road accidents each year and on average, 3,287 die daily. More so, 20 to 50 million people are injured or disabled due to road traffic accidents.

It is also important to note that road traffic accidents have no respect for anyone or class of people; in other words, rich and poor, young and old etc. are dying in road accidents nearly every day, around the world.

Furthermore, it is also known that road traffic accidents constitute the leading cause of death among the youths. For instance, almost 400,000 people under age 25 die in road accidents every year in the world and on average over 1,000 people die per day.

The major reason for the high rate of deaths on the road is simply because many road users around the world have not seen road safety as an individual key responsibility. This explains why good road safety culture is almost non-existent in many societies particularly in Africa.

The Purport of Road Safety

The regular road users include: pedestrians, cyclists, motorists and passengers in public transport. In a simple language, everybody is a road user. Hence, road safety can be described as the methods and measures put in place in order to prevent all road users from being killed or seriously injured.

Road safety is a great task especially in a society where most road users show lackadaisical attitude to road safety. This may also explain why road safety plan is crucial in road safety so as to ensure the safety of road users.

Road safety plan must cater for the safety of all road users such as:

Bicycle safety
Child safety
Motorcycle safety
Pedestrian safety
School bus safety
Use of seat belt
Speed prevention etc.

Road Safety Plan

Nonetheless, the road safety plan is a means of achieving the road safety goals and objectives so as to improve the safety culture in the society. More so, before good road safety plans can be made, information or statistics on road traffic accidents and serious injuries and their causes must be fully considered for effective road safety plans.

A good road safety plan must address the key safety issues, needs and recommendations for effective road safety strategies and viable measures for reducing accidents.

Furthermore, a good road safety plan is expected to tackle the road safety problems through education, engineering, enforcement and emergency services.

Car Talk3 Reasons Why Sharing Road With Haulage Trucks In Nigeria Is Worrisome by Peterowinje(op): 6:01am On Jun 30, 2018
Many people of high caliber and prominent men of worthy character in Nigeria have lost their lives or died young in road accidents involving all kind of haulage trucks. Recently, on June 28, 2018, on Otedola Bridge, Ojodu Berger Lagos Nigeria, a fuel tanker truck exploded killing people and not less than 54 vehicles were burnt. In 2015, a haulage truck caring unlatched container fell on a bus in Illishan, killing 11 occupants that were students of Olabisi Onabanjo University, (OOU), Ogun State and the driver of the said bus. In addition, on July 12, 2016, there was an accident involving a petroleum tanker which crushed 3 cars, not less than 100 people died in that accident in Okogbe area of Rivers State.

It is also interesting to note that properties worth millions, if not billions, were destroyed in different locations across the country in accidents caused by haulage trucks. For instance, in 2015, not less than 21 vehicles, 44 shops, and 3 houses were thoroughly destroyed by a fire accident caused by a petrol tanker that fell off the bridge in Iyana Ipaja area of Lagos-State.

If one single petrol tanker accident destroyed such amount of properties, you can imagine what 2 or more petrol tanker accidents could do to the society. This may probably explain to you why sharing the road with articulated vehicles or petrol tankers still remain worrisome in the heart of many people.

According to former Corps Marshall of Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) Mr. Osita Chidoka, road accident involving tanker drivers and road haulage trucks between January and March 2009 were 2,119 accidents and 301 deaths. The fact that this happened in 3 months is shocking.

With this report, it means on the average there were 23 accidents every day and not less than 3 lives were lost every day.

In addition, in 2015, the Corps Marshall of FRSC, Boboye Oyeyemi, at a stakeholder’s summit noted that in 2013, a total of 21,199 vehicles were involved in crashes in which 1, 495 were tankers or trailer related.

However, from the above given statistics by Corps Marshalls, it is clearly noticeable that the rising road accidents involving tanker drivers and haulage trucks and the recorded deaths from these accidents are increasingly worrisome.

Nevertheless, there are 3 reasons why high rate of accident involving petrol tankers and haulage trucks couple with high rate of deaths from these avoidable accidents remain worrisome to road users, however, here are the reasons: Please read the complete article here : http://globaltransportandlogistics.com/3-reasons-the-high-rate-of-carnages-and-deaths-caused-by-haulage-trucks-is-worrisome/
Car Talk5 Most Notable Factors That Can Affect Truck Fleet Operations by Peterowinje(op): 6:50am On Jun 25, 2018
It is an undoubted fact that road transportation plays a notable role in nation building. A well-developed road transportation is a testimony and quality of a developed nation. An industry that has a fleet of vehicles operating within its community or city is a mark of a successful enterprise. In all ramifications, road transportation is important to individuals, an organization or an industry and to a nation, at large.
In logistics, the importance of road transportation cannot be over-emphasized; an improper management of vehicle fleet has a great negative impact on logistics industry’s productivity as well as the customer service. Since customers are the life wire of any business, hence, poor customer service due to improper fleet management in an organization, a logistics industry or any transport service provider is a bid toward the extinction of such an organization.

Therefore, looking at the factors that can affect the smooth operation of vehicle fleet is a justification for this article. Hence, below are the factors: Please read the complete article here: http://globaltransportandlogistics.com/5-most-notable-factors-that-can-affect-truck-fleet-operations/

Car Talk5 Top Benefits Of Security In Overland Transportation by Peterowinje(op): 5:22pm On Jun 08, 2018
By peterowinje

There’s no doubt to say transportation modes on land are playing key role in complementing other modes of transport such as air transport, sea/water transport or pipeline transport and as well as boosting the economic growth of any given nation.Overland transport modes are majorly road and railway transportations and both are fully operated on land and in case of emergency, they play important role in mass evacuation of people and goods. For instance, if there’s natural disaster or threat in an area overland transport can be used for rapid mass evacuation of people and goods.

However, because of the importance of this two land transportation modes to a nation and their various users, there’s need for government and freight industries to improve the freight security and efficiency of overland transports in many ways such as road transport, rail transport, traffic management, track maintenance, mobility, level crossing safety measures to mention but a few.

One of the major problems among others facing rail and road transportation is security, this is because the two transport modes are commonly used as tools by criminals to carry out their evil works. This explains the need for innovative security services relating to both road and rail transportation that will enable their operations safer for various users. It’s important to know that the two transport modes are the major easy target for criminals like kidnapper, terrorist, armed robbers and so on.

Due to increase in this menace the Transport Security Administration (TSA) has warned both transport and freight industries against terrorists hijacking trucks and driving to the crowd to cause weapon of mass destruction.

For instance, The Transport Security Administration reveals that within 3 years vehicles were hijacked and used in 17 times to kill 173 people while 665 people were injured.

Likewise, in Nice, France, Mohamed Lahouaiej-Bouhel drove a tractor trailer into a gathering celebrating Bastille Day, killing 87 people including children and injured more than 400 people.

In March 29, 2010, there was “A double suicide bombing at Lubyanka and Park kultury stations of the Moscow Metro killing 40 people while 102 people were injured.” Source: Wikipedia.

Likewise, on March 22, 2016, in Belgium, there was suicide bomb attack at Maalbeek metro station in Brussels which caused the death of 20 people and 200 people were injured. Source: Wikipedia.

Having read the above data you will note that overland transport modes are commonly used by the criminals hence, the need to increase focus on land transportation security such as surveillance on road and railways becomes inevitable.

Another reason for physical security in overland transportations is that they are mostly used for illegal transactions across the borders such as illegal drugs, weapons, piracy, illegal immigration and so on.Bus and rail terminals are locations where passengers and freights are assembled in large number for immediate transportation and at such places safety and physical and freight security should be a major concern for transport and freight industries. Why? It’s because stealing or thefts is one of the common problems at terminal and it may also be seen as potential target for terrorist attack.

Strong security in overland transportation has huge benefits to a nation such benefits include the followings: please read the complete article here: http://globaltransportandlogistics.com/5-top-benefits-of-security-in-overland-transportation/

Travel10 Most Notable Road Accidents In 2016. by Peterowinje(op): 2:50am On Dec 14, 2016
Road accidents in Nigeria cannot be overemphasized. Why? It is because road accidents constitute a menace in our modern days. Decaying infrastructure, over speeding, reckless driving, among others, are deficiencies that all road users including the government must seek to address so as to reduce the high rate of accidents on our roads. It is a pity and quite painful that out of 193 countries in the world Nigeria is rated 2nd highest in terms of the frequency of road accidents.

Although, road accidents happen in both developed and developing countries but it is more in developing countries, most especially in Nigeria. For instance, in April 2016 not less than 142 people died in motor accidents in just 15 days. Source; Vanguard Newspaper.

More so, according to Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) Public Education Officer in 2013, between 19th of December, 2012 and 15th of January, 2013, Nigeria had over 480 traffic crashes and about 1600 people were injured and not less than 280 people died from these crashes.

Nevertheless, it is noteworthy that the high rate of road accidents in Nigeria is not acceptable because it’s fast depleting human resources. Car TalkMonorail: Uncommon Transport System In African Countries. by Peterowinje(op): 5:26am On Dec 09, 2016
There are different modes of transport viz: Rail transportation, Sea Transportation, Air transportation, Road transportation and Pipeline transportation. However, in road transportation we have three (3) transport systems which are Road transport system, Rail transport system and monorail transport system, in all of these transport modes and systems, monorail is the most unpopular overland transport in developing countries. For instance, one day precisely on 15th of January, 2015. I walked into a particular organization in the Ibadan city where l live, Oyo State, Nigeria, to ask just a question from all the staff and my question on that day was “Do you know monorail or have you heard about monorail before?” In fact, none of them actually know what monorail really is. I was flabbergasted or surprised when some of them started using questions to answer my question, someone asked me, was it a name of a person or thing or what? Many other questions were thrown back to me on that day why they failed completely to answer my own question. However, before and after the said day, I had also asked some people the same question but none of them could actually tell me anything they know about monorail, despite, the fact that, the word monorail is coined from two words “Mono” and “Rail” Mono which refers to one single object and rail which is a popular word used for railway track, one would have expected them to suggest transport or to suppose it to be transport but unfortunately, they could not suggest it to be transport system or think in that direction. This to me, shows, that they have poor understanding on monorail transport system and that is why I need to write about monorail for all my lovely readers, better still, do you also know monorail? Please, you can read the complete article here:http://globaltransportandlogistics.com/monorail-uncommon-transport-system-in-african-countries/ Thanks.
Car Talk10 Top Reasons Why You Need To Wear Your Seat Belt by Peterowinje(op): 3:21am On Dec 01, 2016
The NHTSA Regional Administrator, Thomas M. Louizou, said: “More than half the drivers and passengers being killed in crashes are not wearing seat belts. That is a major problem.” Seat belt is important to the point that it can save your life in an auto crash. This is one of the major reasons among others why you need to wear your seat belt while driving. However, here are the reasons why you need to wear your seat belt.

1. Some countries make it a law for every motorist. e g Nigeria.
2. It will help to prevent your face from hitting the windshield, if your car is stopped suddenly.
3. When accident occurs and the car is somersaulted, a seat belt will hold you firm on your seat and keep you from being thrown from the vehicle.
4, It keeps you from hitting against some parts of the vehicle while driving e.g. the door, the car steering wheel and the seat in front of you.
5, The seat belts keep all the occupants e.g. the driver and passengers from hitting into each other, which may cause a serious injury in some accidents. You can read the complete article here:http://globaltransportandlogistics.com/10-top-reasons-why-you-need-to-wear-your-seat-belt/ Thanks.
Car TalkOver Pumped Tire Or Under Inflated Tire Is Dangerous by Peterowinje(op): 4:08am On Nov 04, 2016
However, when tires are over pumped it will lead to imprecise handling, in other words, it will be difficult for the drivers to handle such vehicle precisely, as a result of this the driver of such vehicles drive roughly on the road, consequently, it makes the tire’s treads to wear out untimely. Moreover, under inflated tires will reduce your fuel economy, in other words, it will make your vehicle to consume more fuel, in addition, it can also make your tire to generate unusual heat that can damage the life span of your tires. A vehicle with under inflated tires will be difficult for drivers to also handle properly and it may fail at high speed. Therefore, it is wrong and even dangerous if your car tires are over pumped or under inflated. Hence the saying, two wrong things can never make a right. To avoid any likely problem due to over pumped tires or to avoid traffic accident due to under inflated tires, it is advisable as a driver to pay more attention to the manufacturer recommended air pressure. It is also advisable for all motorists to check their vehicles’ tires pressure including their spare tire at least once in a month. This is because tire is expected to lose about one pound of pressure per month through the normal seepage.

Car TalkDo You Give Much Attention To Your Car’s Tire? by Peterowinje(op): 3:40am On Nov 02, 2016
Kindly permit me to start by asking a question and my question is: how much attention do you really give to your car’s tires as needed? I guess you only give little attention to the tires when they go flat by taking them to the road side vulcanizer to inflate your tires. Many car owners in developing countries do not have much care about their tires that move them all around on the road. Many lives have been lost while many others sustained permanent injuries on motor accidents due to poor maintenance of our tires. If your car tire is poorly managed it will pose a serious danger to the car owner and other road users. This is why this social problem must be eradicated for the benefit of all road user.

Car TalkPedestrianization: A Desirable Safety Facility For Pedestrians by Peterowinje(op): 8:23am On Oct 28, 2016
Not too long ago, in the month of August, 2015, a student of one of the higher institutions in Ibadan city, Oyo state, Nigeria, was knocked down by a vehicle on his way to campus. I learned that this was not the first incident in the area. One of the students of the school told me that the victim was the only son and the only child of the family. What a pity!

However, when I visited the area of the incident, I discovered that the campus is located beside an expressway (a busy road) that links two states together in the country and I also, discovered that the road lacks the necessary desirable safety facilities for pedestrians. For more understanding, the following are the conditions of the said road:

No any pedestrian footpaths for the students,
No traffic island or median divider between opposite direction traffic in order to reduce the head collision between vehicle and pedestrian and also between two vehicles in the area,
No any traffic sign or signal for motorists or road users, and
No single bond in the front of the campus to limit or reduce the speed of those drivers who think speed limit is just a mere suggestion.
No zebra-crossing for the students, therefore, most students end up crossing the road at will.

However, it is important to note that, the risk of pedestrians is high when they share the same road with vehicles traveling at a fast speeds. This explains why the student was knocked down by a vehicle. Since the road lacks necessary safety facilities for pedestrians, I wonder if such ugly incident will not repeat itself again. Car Talk3 Major Reasons For Lack Of Special Transport Service For Handicapped... by Peterowinje(op): 2:27am On Oct 25, 2016
Problems are inevitable; they seem so natural or bound to happen. One of such is the lack of special public transport for disabled people in their own countries. With what I have seen so far in my country or better still, what I’ve discovered is that, the majority of disabled people hardly leave their homes because of transport difficulties they faced in the society. This is one of their major frustrations.

Why disabled people have to face transport problem for so long in their countries is because they are not fully considered in the community. Those who are supposed to meet their transport needs are not ready to shoulder the responsibility. As a result of this, transportation choice for disabled people is almost zero or extremely limited in their own countries.

Car TalkRoad Safety Plan by Peterowinje(op): 5:18am On Oct 20, 2016
The road safety plan is a means of achieving the road safety goals and objectives so as to improve the safety culture in the society.

However, as an individual road user you also need to follow a good road safety plan, so as to make the road safer for all of us. http://globaltransportandlogistics.com/road-safety-culture-individual-responsibility-and-the-key-role-of-media-inevitable/
Car TalkRoad Safety Culture by Peterowinje(op): 10:48pm On Oct 16, 2016
Road Safety Culture

The word culture, as it were, may have different meanings but when it is used with road safety, it has to do with how the road users interpret and perceive road safety. In other words, it has to do with a collective program of road users’ minds for perceiving, interpreting, expressing and responding to the social facts or realities that are caused by road transport.

Good road safety culture can be referred to as acts and other manifestations of good human behavior toward making the road safer in the society. Having known the consequences and the high risks involved in poor safety behavior of some road users, the need to imbibe the good road safety culture among the road users cannot be taken for granted. Why? It is because a well-developed road safety culture will influence every road user and create positive changes among the road users.

In a good road safety culture, people speak up about any unsafe situations and unsafe behavior of any road users on public roads; they don’t keep silent when any road user violates road safety practices. Every road user in a society where a good road safety culture is in practice will constantly look for ways to improve road safety from his or her own end and take personal responsibility for making the road safe for all.
